Enjoy!
MOD EDIT
this is for cooks only....if you try to install this str8 onto your hero you may brick it....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Tatoo ROM? in HERO thread? WTF?
i believe the OP has posted it to let the ROM cookers have a look at it. It can probably be ported to the Hero.
Thanks to the OP
OK, I get it now. Thanks then. A new ported ROM is always good
i also understand that the tattoo is based on the 1.6 donut build...so would be really nice to get it on the hero
Yeah, I posted this link for ROM Cookers, for usual users it's useless.
Hi guys sorry for the noob question:
I open the exe and search in my PC the Temp folder where the content is temporaly extracted and see a "rom.zip" file.
When I open inside exist:
android-info.txt
boot.img
hboot_7225_0.52.0001_090922.nb0
radio.img
recovery.img
splash1_Tattoo_320x240.nb0
system.img
userdata.img
How can I open the img files to access the files and graphics inside? before in others hero files I just open using 7zip but now i can´t open using this method.
PS:why the userdata.img only is 3kb?
So I think it'll be safe to assume that we can't just flash this ROM to the Hero, even with a Nandroid backup?
Correct, it won't work on a hero in its un modified format. Wait for a chef to cook it up for the hero.
note to all
Don't try to flash this rom to your hero.
Its for cooks only.
You have been warned!
I HAVE PUT THIS IN THE TITLE......as someones bound to try and flash there hero
nobody knows how to extract the files from .img using WinXP.?
Is this a complete Rom?, like I said before userdata.img only has 3.kb

Many thanks for the reply, but im stuck here.
Sorry I dont know nothing about Android, I use the extracted files from hero build for made a ThrottleLauncher theme, now I want to update the theme a skin other apps (like FM Radio, Wm Taskbar, etc) using the files from a Tatoo rom.
So, please, anybody can post the extracted apps from inside of system.img
I really apreciate.
Thanks
The keyboard on the tattoo looks nice - hopefully it'll be possible to extract it from the tattoo and cook it into a hero rom

Modem download

Hi guys.
I am searching through the forum, but I am not able to find a place where I can find just a repository of new modems.
I live in a bad "radio" zone and I need to check many modems to see which one is better for me.
I need at least the last three: DMB2, DMA6, DLL3.
Thanks in advance.
DM2 and MA6 available on post #6 of this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896696
thank you so much dr. ketan.
I tried a search only for zip files, not for tar.
Now I will try to flash them and see which one suites me better.
Regards.
when you extract zip file (from above said post), you will find tar file for kernel, modem, booloader and recovery. all are separate file and you can use only modem.

NOKIA X STOCK ROM(Any Version)

Hi guys, I am a new user here, so, I got a problem. I need Nokia x stock ROM in highly compressed mode, less than 100 MB if anyone can. I live in a backward area and am not much wealthy. I downloaded stock ROM file from a website(I don't remember the website), it contained 2 folders, META-INF and System and one boot.img file. I was confuse at first. I compressed the system folder and renamed its extension from '.zip' to '.img' and then tried flashing, nothing happened:crying::crying:. I searched many websites hoping to find compressed file of stock ROM. but failed. at last I tried XDA developers. I know that someone will be there to help me in this website. i will remain evergrateful to you guys if anyone could help me.
if someone compressed it then please send it to [email protected] please please please please please:good::good::good::goodlease

[REQUEST] Patched libandroid_runtime files from NMF26V for suhide

Fenny, in providing the write up to patch the libandroid_runtime files will no longer be patching the files himself.
The write up is way over my head (Especially as many of the hex values in the write ups don't appear in the files now, and it appears that at least one of the strings in the instruction sections have been moved to .rodata), so I'm wondering if someone who has successfully patched the files for themselves, would be so kind as to share them.

I am looking for the same thing too, and found the same results that you did.
The files for PureNexus that Fenny posted in the main Suhide patching thread work for NMF26V stock.

vendor folder

Hey guys, anyone on nougat 7.1.2 ?
Can you provide me full vendor folder from that rom.?
I'll be thankful to you
@dean [email protected]#, the easiest way is to download the factory-image, matching your ROM, and extracting vendor.img from there.
but bro @rp158 ,I want extracted vendor.img
How i can extract it.
@dean [email protected]#, corrected the link above. You've to extract the zip-file, simply. What's your problem preciesly?
@rp158 went to your given link extracted that folder then it also gives vendor.img. If you have nexus 5x can you provide me the folder from /system.
As I need this folder for porting purposes.
@dean [email protected]#: either I or you don't understand: nearly every month there's a new vendor.img. So you need the version belonging to your specific ROM-build, probably not mine.
To go on: post the build-number of your ROM.
Build number- (OPR4.170623.020)
Please provide it unpacked.
@dean [email protected]#: that's 8.0.0 revision 35. Cannot download the whole package atm, maybe tomorrow. But what's your problem now? The download, an unzip-function, anything else?
@rp158 My problem only is that I am not able to unpack vendor.img only.
@dean [email protected]#: it's a long way, with your minimal step-by-step- information
I guess, you've no PC available to extract vendor from factory image. I did it now by TotalCommander on my N5X... If this whyever doesn't succeed, I'll upload it to MEGA. But you'll understand, that's quite laborious for a monthly changing file...
Added vendor.img from 8.0.0 r35
@rp158 Is there any way to unpack this img
@dean [email protected]#: ookeee, now I understand. I was the whole time at the dark side of your moon, sorry. Look at this tool.
@dean [email protected]#: my actual vendor-folder 8.0.0 r35 as zip-file uploaded, finally (older image deleted). Hope it helps.
@rp158 Thanks bro for providing
