This was just posted by one of our local news stations. It mentions SwiftKey keyboard (which I currently use) and all Samsung Galaxy phones. Thought it might be something to look at.

Which Internet radio app is best? I see there are several that have been downloaded millions of times. Too lazy to try each one out. Anyone?

I'm a big fan of TuneIn Radio PRO. Never had an issue finding my game or radio show when im blacked out or out of town. Records, too. It was free on the Amazon Appstore sometime ago.

I like Pandora Cyan. Ad-free and unlimited skipping.

I use the free tune-in pro that was on amazon as well, but anyone else have the same issue as I do with it causing the phone to get really hot?
Tune in for sure...
another vote for Tune In radio
So I'm rooted with vanilla root box, and my friend has the s3 as well, stock unrooted however. I can beam him pics and apps, but can't get anything from him, just says beam failed.
Furthermore, what's the difference between sbeam and NFC?

Nobody knows anything on the subject? How odd...

So this is one of those topics nobody anywhere in XDA knows about? None of you use sbeam or NFC?

AOSP uses Android Beam. Stock uses SBeam ("groundbreaking" Samsung technology). Looks like SBeam isn't fully compatible with Android Beam.
NFC is Near Field Communcation. You can Google that one.
I know what it stands for, but what you're saying is NFC is the technology sending the data, but abeam is just the name of the protocol they use to utilize it?

Interesting. Looks like Samsung and Google might be splitting up. Tizen time?

Dumb question but is there any way to run an app like next issue? It's available for iPhone but on android it seems to only work on tablets. Tried side loading to no avail.

There is an app called 'Issuu' that is compatible with most phones. That's the only app I can think of that would come closest to what you're looking for
Maybe use an exposed modal to spoof play store into thinking u have a tablet... or doing it manually in the build prop..

Hi there,
Can anyone help me out? I'm looking for the original fm player for the samsung I9100 for quite some time now, but I can't seem to find it anywhere It's actually not for myself, but for my boyfriend, he really seems to miss just that one app a lot.
It may also be another one, but it has to work through the earplugs and not require an internet connection.
Grz Joanne
