Long story short, I updated to a lollipop ROM recently with no issues flashing, but in the new ROM when I attempt to turn on the wifi, it grays out the button as if pressed and then does nothing and stays off. I have s-off and am running CWRM v6.0.4.8. I've googled around and read that it may be tied to firmware incompatability, however my camera app and all other apps on the phone work fine. Before flashing to lollipop I was running kitkat. Did I forget to update something? Carrier is Verizon.

Might try flashing the FW again. Or reflashing the ROM. Maybe even a cache/dalvik cache wipe would fix it too.

Before I begin, let me say I did see this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/vzw-m8-bricked-s-off-unlocked-hboot-t2857007, however it is now several months old and received no responses. I'm not sure whether or not I should have bumped that one or made this one, sorry if I shouldn't have.
So basically, I was running DigitalHigh's Lollipop GPE rom, which I had been running for what feels like forever now without any issues, suddenly the phone reboots, when it does it reboots to androids on skateboards and will not boot into the system. It reboots and now both RADIO and OpenDSP both report INVALID_VER_INFO. Every RUU I try fails with FAIL-PU.

Really hope someone can help me out here.
I realize this is probably asked fairly often, but I did try to find the answer myself. So I thank you and apologize in advance.
In any case, I've been using lollipop for some time on my M8 now. It is rooted and S-On. As a result, I can't simply OTA up into Marshmallow. I bought this phone used, and I believe it was Bell, but I'm uncertain. I was hoping to update to Marshmallow (and keeping my files intact if that is at all possible), but am totally at a loss as to what I should be doing. For one, not a whole lot of threads about Bell, so I'm unsure what files I should be using, but beyond that if someone could give me a nudge in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
To get things started, my fastboot getvar all is:
Code:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>fastboot getvar all

You can unroot it within supersu app itself.
Then restore system & boot only from non-rooted 4.20.666.1 backup and keep your data, install 4.20.666.1 stock recovery.img. You'll receive OTA up to Marshmallow with your data intact.
You can have all those in my thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
Thank you, everything worked out perfect, though it took a little longer than I thought it would. One issue though, it seems maybe the radio is weaker? I can't get to LTE most of the time in places I had no trouble with before.
For anyone going through the same thing, if Sense is crashing after your update, just go into settings, apps and clear out the data for Sense.
No idea about the radio matter .. maybe an updated fastboot getvar all can tell something if not correctly done.

It's definitely having some trouble getting up to LTE, but it does connect to LTE once in a blue moon so its not the APN or something stupid like that.
I've spent all day trying to get my M8 (Sprint)unrooted and back to stock. I followed countless tutorials that involved locking the bootloader then running the RUU installer. Everything usually works up until i have to use the RUU, which always fails. I've tried a ton of different versions that all say they're for the sprint m8 but they always have an error and say to get the correct rom or something like that.
Any help is much appreciated

Hello everyone,
I have tried to fix this problem for a day and a half. I have read similar issues with other people but I still have not found a solution. A unique thing I noticed is that when I perform fastboot getvar all, my IMEI actually shows up, BUT on my phone it does not under "about" in settings.
Things I have tried:
- full wipe and revert back to stock
- reflashing the hboot

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

- purchased sunshine to get S-Off
- flashed the latest AT&T firmware.zip
