KDZ available for D85120E! - T-Mobile LG G3

I take NO CREDIT for this - it was made by LG and the firmware was found on the (unofficial) LG Firmware Twitter, @LG_firmware.
http://t.co/TBZG4h0tIj
I tried expanding the shortened URL, but the link is straight to a download site and the unshorteners will not work on it. The link will directly download D85120E_00.kdz.
Supposedly, This method will bring back root for you. I haven't tried it yet, but members on Reddit are reporting it as working. I will update once I look more into it.
Use this with the LG Flash Tool if you are not getting the update on your phone or through the PC Suite.

Flashed and rooted
I used the Mobile Support Tool and upgraded.
Then I used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197
and rooted without a hitch.

Works great
Yes it definitely worked. Now I will have to update and reroot my wife's phone when she gets home. :good:

Hey guys, just a question. Do you think 20E will fix the wonky WiFi calling issues on 20B? That's about my only issue with lollipop. BTW, stock, rooted, debloated.

I am from Dubai. I recently bought an unlocked at&t optimus g pro e980.
When I am trying to update, I am getting the message 'mobile not registered yet'.
I registered the mobile with LG, USA.
The phone has active a SIM card from local carrier. I do not have AT&T Sim card.
The phone is on 10P versoin.
How to register it?
Any problems if I changed to Cyanogenmod?
Sorry for the many questoins I raised.
Thanks.

You are not the only one. I also have a G Pro but I am on Metro PCS and I get the same message. I think it is because it is not a SIM from AT&T, I may be wrong but I have not found a fix on the AT&T site or the LG site. I HOPE that if/when KitKat come out for G Pro we can install from computer.

I guess you are right, we have to wait for Kit Kat, OR a new option. Thanks.
it happens to me too when i was using Korean f180 with European rom, but on Korean rom i could update just fine.
after searching, i found (only works if you use rom for the phone was made) using the lg rom downloader that uses imei number, you will get registered to LG servers thus you will not get these update errors.
never tried myself, so cant be sure as i always do kdz/tot
When kit Kat comes out I'm sure the tot file will be available in XDA forums. Then you can just flash with lg flash tools.

I've noticed since upgrading to firmware "M" that my LTE isn't working correctly at times. I'm connected to the tower with a good signal, but the internet simply isn't working. Sometimes a reboot fixes it, sometimes not. If I go into the settings and remove the LTE option it goes to regular 4G and it works like a charm. This has happened in a few places, but I've noticed it several mornings on my closest towers as I'm on my way to work. Has anyone else seen something like this?
Keeping tabs on this thread for future releases.

[Update] Android L (Lollipop) and the G2

Figured I'd start a thread about Lollipop since it was officially announced today. As others (namely @KD8JBF ) have pointed out, Sprint has updated their device RDF page to mention a ZVE firmware. Will this be the update to Lollipop? Any ideas?
How do you think the G2 will handle Lollipop, and what do you think about what we've seen of Lollipop so far? Hopefully ZVE will at least fix some of the bugs in LG's firmware.
no. its 4.4.2 http://device.sprintpcs.com/LG/LS980-SPRINT/latest

I'm up for anything that uses more WiFi. I have a damn Airave because Sprint doesn't have signal where I live, which creates a whole other cluster of problems. Wonder how long it will take for us to get it?

Lol I'll try to add that.
I believe this is the update to use the home launcher from the G3. LG stated a few months ago that they were going to update the G2/Pro/Flex to the G3 launcher and they were attempting to have them all updated by Christmas.

This thread isn't about a ROM, it's about a software update from Sprint. If you're confusing the two, I'll answer as if you meant update when you said "ROM". If you were to update to ZVE (or update at all) and you're on CloudyG3 right now, you would have to downgrade back to a stock version of the LG LS980 firmware. You can do this using LG's FlashTool and a tutorial I put up on here awhile back. I also put up tutorial videos with links and downloads on YouTube if you search for my name " Kristi Grant". When I get on my laptop I'll post links, or click on the link in my signature.

That is where 5.1.1 comes about. 5.1 fixed, 5.0 leaks. But then they had leaks in 5.1 which hopefully 5.1.1 fixes
I wonder if the update will bring wifi calling to the G2 finally.
T-Mobile's LG G2 should receive a Lollipop treat starting today

BUT GSM/LTE radio will shut off for a second every 30sec-1min. Kinda lame. Maybe there's a way around it.. I'm not sure yet... feel free to mess around. WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC and everything else is good.

it will be 5.0.1.. it is still technically 5.0 like the site says.
All US carriers started off with 5.0.1.. vs Intl getting 5.0.
Intl will probably get 5.1 first tho.
Just updated my lg g3 to android 5.0.1 yesterday by using the upgrade recovery option in the Lg mobile support tool. I used this same method to get the other minor update that t mobile had a while back as well. Everything is running smoothly and i've had no problems so far.

Any improvement to battery or usability at all or signal strength or something you noticed different after updating bb and BL. Thanks.
After everything I have read in regards to the MM update for our tmo note 4, I find myself kind of nervious about doing the update. Can we downgrade to DOK2 just in case things are not so great on the EPE3 update?

Hi,
Your data fix worked but have some minor issues I guess,
1) it changes the power button menu back to LL style (not blurred background anymore)
2) long press of back key was gone (this brings menu option in apps like)
surprising that it worked I am on Noble ROM, and new TMobile BL..
This is going to make me sound like a newb... but what is this data fix for and what exactly does it fix?
Is it needed only for non-stock ROMS or does it need to be done with the official T-Mob ROM also?

Did anybody figure out how to get back s7 power menu after flashing this fix? On other data fixes we lose the power menu and gets replaced with LL power menu also but I would just replace the build prop with the one from the rom zip i downloaded and i would get the power menu back. But that's not working anymore.
