You'll have to wait for HTC to deliver Sense 7 to HTC One M7 (which is unlikely going to happen) or use one of the ROMs ported from M9, to be able to do that.

NO, it requires the sense framework. However i know of a sense 4 clock that looks very similar that does work. Its an apk someone has built but its very realistic looking. Sense 4 Clock Widget

I didn't link you the weather widget idiot. That's the sense clock widget. The one you extracted no its not going to work. What did you expect?
You took it from another phone not just another touchwiz phone a whole different proprietary overlay. Which requires its resources to run.

Ok. Let me go this way. When u open the app drawer on a HTC phone there's an app called Clock, that has the pic of a watch. This is almost like a nightstand clock. It also has other things. It's not a widget. That's what Im looking for. Have u come accross it?

The clock app in HTC sense is called clockwidget.apk....Most apps are VERY hard to port because HTC has a file system where most of the apps are dependent on HTC framework. That would mean you would have to reverse develop the sense rom which has had little luck so far..
why you see just the widget and not the clock in the app drawer is because the clockwidget.apk tells the HTC system framework for it to be there. But it will not show because fw is MIA.

I can't help with the messaging app, but all roms are in the dev sections.
gosms app is what I'm using till i find something better. It's 3rd party, but free & customizable if you've got the patience for a little trial & error. I'm still hoping to find a transparent stock mod soon myself, but i just started looking recently.

I'm not aware of any modded stock messaging app that is transparent (but there's a lot I don't know!), but could you help me understand what you'd want?
You say you want a "transparent background" messaging app. Is that one where, when it is open, you see the home screen underneath the text bubbles? Or just the wallpaper? Or would it see any previously opened app? I don't know enough about modding apks to do anything about it, but if you could clarify what you're looking for, it'd help give people more solid ideas on what to develop.
I will tell my team about the transparent background and I'll see what we can do . amiblindyet me and misty I will update you in the morning to see what we can do!!

I mean I could open app>settings>background & pick gallery & use the same pic I have for my wallpaper & it looks trans until threads & conversation bubbles totally block the wallpaper.

So you want the background and bubbles to be transparent... I would assume that you want the background 100% transparent and the bubbles something like 70-80% transparent.
I'm ignorant on this, but I've heard that you can decompile an apk and replace the assets in /res folder. I'm not sure if it's possible with these items, but that would be the place to start.

And yes background 100% (in case I ever go back to a live wallpaper) & since I have a black area & white area on the wallpaper(both horizontal) maybe some holo blue for text so my text won't vanish when I scroll up & down. kinda like tvshow faves trans widget text color. Ive noticed that blue looks good w/my wallpaper. Bubbles maybe 90%. trans. I'd better quit while I'm ahead. Thank you for your time, consideration & efforts.

Press longer homescreen where you want to put the widget, choose "widgets", scroll down until you find your widget of choice, for example the bluetooth-widget and tap it, that is all
They are stock HTC widgets, if you don't have them, you might have removed them (if you're rooted) or they just were not included in the ATT model.
You won't see them if you are using a 3rd party launcher.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
I am running InsertCoin ROM, and no custom launcher, and still not seeing these options for these widgets, except just the HotSpot 1 x 1 Widget, no others though
Then you removed then during install as the majority are checked to be removed by default, you must reflash Rom, and uncheck the ones you want to keep,no need to wipe.

I have updated to HTC sense 6 and currently using the one of the 4 set themes. I hate the presets of colour. Is their a way to change the green etc preset colour to the old style blue in the 5.5 version of sense?

Wrong section but yes, only if you flash a custom ROM. AFAIK that's the only way

Nope. But you have some in the settings/personalize/themes
We all hope HTC will add some more to us.
But now we have to live with these some or install costum rom.
I didn't like any of the default sets of colour highlights, but I use a red and black wallpaper, so all the highlights being Red was an acceptable option for me.
If you use the Sense 6 Toolbox module for Xposed on a rooted device, you can set it to use all Red, Green or Blue highlights. I wouldn't be surprised if this supports custom colours sometime soon

I cant find this option anywhere... what am i missing?
I have the latest sense 6 toolbox. I assumed it would be under interface mods or sense mods.. don't see it.
I like the dark color headers.. but I hate the green highlights.. if i could make them blue that would be nice.

Perhaps I am wrong or I missed something, but after installing Toolbox 6 I did not find an option to keep the general colour in black and only change the highlight-colour to blue (like in Sense 5.5). There were only some predefined theme-colour-combinations like "blue-blue" or "black-green" or "black-orange" ...
Please HTC bring my old black/blue style back!
Older versions of sense that I had on my past handsets had a couple of great widgets that are missing now. Namely the notes and galley widgets. Is it possible to get them from older roms and install now?

I missed the photo frame widget and found this one on the play store. It takes a few changes in settings, but you can set it as an individual photo widget which was what i was after.
