NO, it requires the sense framework. However i know of a sense 4 clock that looks very similar that does work. Its an apk someone has built but its very realistic looking. Sense 4 Clock Widget
Dude, the clock app not the weather widget.

I didn't link you the weather widget idiot. That's the sense clock widget. The one you extracted no its not going to work. What did you expect?
You took it from another phone not just another touchwiz phone a whole different proprietary overlay. Which requires its resources to run.

Ok. Let me go this way. When u open the app drawer on a HTC phone there's an app called Clock, that has the pic of a watch. This is almost like a nightstand clock. It also has other things. It's not a widget. That's what Im looking for. Have u come accross it?

The clock app in HTC sense is called clockwidget.apk....Most apps are VERY hard to port because HTC has a file system where most of the apps are dependent on HTC framework. That would mean you would have to reverse develop the sense rom which has had little luck so far..
why you see just the widget and not the clock in the app drawer is because the clockwidget.apk tells the HTC system framework for it to be there. But it will not show because fw is MIA.

[APP] HTC sense Flash-light for cm7 & non-sense based ROMs and a sense clock widget
HI
I'm currently running cm7 on my phone and I didn't like the flash-light app
so i pulled the htc one from sense but it wouldn't install so i edited the .apk and resigned it so its now working on cm7 and i thought i would share .
i attached the .apk file to this post
1-unzip
2-put the apk file on sd card
3-install it through a file manager.
NOTE: I am not responsible for any damage this may cause
Thanks!!!

No
for now only the analogue ones, but i might be able to find a way to do it.
i am sure someone has done it though. maybe you will find it if you google it.
Awesome, thanks! I suppose it'll work fine with cm6 as well?
Personally I think in the long run there should be a sticky with extracted htc stuff for usage with other ROMs.
edit: Works fine.

I can only speculate that what he means is that can you somehow enable a toggle for the HTC flashlight in the power widget like how you can do it with the CM stock flashlight app.

Ok
I am not sure ,definitely not from the phone itself anyway ,the problem with that is i think the power widget is linked to the torch widget and htc flashlight doesnt have a widget !!! i might be wrong though.
If the clock widget you are referring to is the flipclock with the weather under it, that belongs to HTC and would not be wise to port.
Beautiful Widgets was asked to remove said flipclock widget a while ago along with other clock widget apps such as weather and toggle widget.
Just a friendly warning. Might wanna ask around first before you decide to dedicate time towards it...

Fancy widget pro is avalible and functions just like the htc clock in every way, you can even shortcut a alarm app so when you press the clock it goes to your alarm clock like sense does. Klaxxon alarm highly reccomended btw. Lastly i'm going to try again here but your port isn't working on my Cm7 Nightly build 17
::update:: no Led's engaging on mine when using this apk. I just realized this is not for the droid incredible ::facepalm:: my bad, carry on.
Any chance you could port the sense live wallpaper for cm7? I REALLY want it.

Does not work with the Incredible with CM7.
I just got on the CM7 RC2 and downloaded a app to have the senses flip clock and weather. At the help website for the widget it says that if your not on the stock htc launcher the clock wil not show animation (no flip clock). My question is, since I'm on CM7 RC2 and it comes pre-loaded with AWD launcher, how do I get back to the stock launcher? Or is there another launcher I can use to get the flip clock?

Sounds like tha app requires HTC Sense, which CM7 doesn't have. There are a few Sense based ROMs available however, check the sticky for a list of ROMs.

Yep I think you're right. The flip clocks are usually extracted or based on Sense ROMs, and won't have animations on AOSP ROMs.
The clocks still work though, why is the animation that big of a deal? Check out Fancy Widget and Beautiful Widgets in the market. They have a lot of similar clocks etc.

Its not a big deal. I don't use AWD for anything but the battery%. I thought it would be just an easy fix. I'm useing fancy widgets pro and have the H7C clock and weather skin.

The thing is, its not that you're using ADW, its that you're using an AOSP ROM, not a Sense ROM.

Surely there's a Clock/Alarm app on phones with Touchwiz - they don't seem to accept intents to the AOSP clock app.
is it clockpackage.apk ?
edit: nvm thats it. just went ahead and tried to install it.

I'm trying to get the new Motorola photon q launcher to work on the epic touch running jelly bean. Everything seems to work just needs to be resized. Also the circle widget is really nice and would be great if someone can get it to work with other launchers. Here are the files and thank you in advance for helping on the development for this great launcher and widget.

What have you tried
I am interested in this as well. Have you pushed the app to yhour system/app directory and changed the permissions to match everything else in there?
They install fine. The only thing is when the widget comes on the launcher screen it says that you cannot use with third party launchers. I don't know how to edit the permissions of the widget itself

Took a look at the widget on the photon device and i must say it is pretty cool looking. You would have to attract the attention of whoever took time to port the clock and weather widget from the HTC devices.
Anyone, anyone?????? My wife is looking for this to add to her GS2
Search the Google play market for Rings Digital Weather Clock or One More Clock Free. The widgets o are looking for are in there

Anyone mind sharing your weather widgets or know a nice wv post here cause the 1 that comes with TW is a shame takes up to much ram and rewrites and lags up the launcher by just scrolling. Deactivate it and its parts and your phone is going much snappier.

+1 for Android Weather. Just dled it last night but its the best weather widget I've ever used. I like how yo can open your calendar and clock app from the widget. Thanks for the heads up in this.
I use WeatherLove (Free on Market) , customisable , gps based (can be disabled) , transparency capable ... Have a try
HD Weather Widgets. Very customizable. It's foggy at the moment (you can see a cloud in the middle, under the clock). Background is set to Transparent.
Beautiful widgets.
It doesn't consume so much RAM or processor power.
