I wanted to know if there is a way to upgrade with EasyPay? Without paying the phone off completely. Like say I wanted the S6 how can I go from my Note 4 to the S6? Is it possible? Do I have to just give my Note 4 back?

Customer service would give you the best answer but for me I'm on the framlly plan so I get a new phone after every one year and I do have to turn in my current device. Depends on your plan so again I'd just call them.

At this point you might want to wait for the note 5 anyway. It's probably gonna blow the s6 out of the water.

If you want to change just take the Note 4 back to sprint and say you want the s6 but you will have to start the payments all over again

so i was in the same boat - I upgraded to the note 3 and switched to framily and since no one wanted to join my framily I got off it and went to the 60 unlimited which you would of had to pay $10 a month to keep your yearly upgrades - Well I didn't know that so I was on my 13th payment of my easy pay and the guy at the sprint store gave a number to call a call center and explain it and they may give me and early upgrade since I was unaware I was loosing my yearly upgrade - and they gave it to me - had to give the note 3 back and they asked what condition it was in and it was still in pristine condition so I upgraded to the note 4 and went on the 12 month lease - it's bull**** but i understand why they do what they do and how they are really trying hard to get all these phones back - cause they used to just give em away cause you never had to give your phone back when you upgraded thats how i still have my s4 and s3 - and I will look for that number and update but any sprint store associate be able to provide

There is an open enrollment period for current customers, you need to have a phone on EIP and thats it.
I came across this article comparing the new plans that TMobile and AT&T have intro'd - its worth a read if you are considering JUMP
I'm on a Classic plan my contract ends August next year. I wonder if I qualify for this? Already have insurance.

So with Tmobile you can pay an extra $10 month and when a new phone is released you have to trade up the phone that is on the EIP.. sounds like a rip to me. But to each his own.
Let me know if I have this right. I am on a classic plan. When the Note 3 comes out, I go in and pay $200 to cancel my classic plan, then buy the Note 3 and sign up for jump!. Then sell my Note 2 to pay for all of this. The only problem I see is that I have had the Note 2 for 9 months and it is still the only phone I want.

It's really more of an easy way to always have the latest and greatest. It's about the same price as selling your current phone and buying at full price. If you keep your phone in perfect condition and can sell it for top dollar than that is a better deal but a lot of hassle. I personally love this plan.

This is good but would rather have timely updates to continue to make my phone feel new. My only concern is this could be an incentive for t mobile not to push updates. And if the carrier isn't pushing them the oems may decide it not necessary to update despite the fact they are almost always a year or more behind what aosp is. I mean 4.3 is around the corner and an we are still on 4.1.

I think that T-Mobile is being pretty generous. They are basically buying any phone back for $360 bucks ($20x18months). Which can't be a money maker for them. They are probably hoping that they can sell the refurbs real cheap and get more people on monthly plans. 0 down and $15 a month and they only break even.

They do push out updates for a lot of the flagship devices. Hence the gs2 started on gingerbread and now has jellybean(I would bet money that's where it will end) I am well aware that unless something radically changes it will always be slow especially since they are dependent on oems. My concern is that this could make things worst. Unless Samsung starts pushing their own os (what ever it's called) and bypasses the carriers through kies like how apple does it through itunes. In the end I am happy with touchwiz and am looking more forward to an updated touchwiz rather than an updated android version.

YOU KEEP GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2NYT8uV_VQ
No zero down mean you don't need to pay for it now. So instead of making you have down payment right now they put that payment toward the monthly payment plan.
Say you want S4, instead of 150 down and 20x24 totaling 630, you pay 0 down and 25x24 total of 600. $30 saving. Not bad. .
But phone like HTC one, you'll be paying 0 down and 25x24 total 600 instead of 80 down (Web)and 20x24 total of 560 normally. Cost you $40 more.
Over all tmobile is being aggressive lately. .

That's annoying as hell.
I just talked to a Loyalty rep this afternoon to change plans and waive fees, who told me about this promotion. I asked him three separate times if the lack of down payment came back on the back end, by either increasing monthly payments or adding months, and every time he told me, No, it's $20 for 24 months.
I'm getting my Note II tomorrow, and I guess I'll see what happens with my next bill.

I switched from sprint a wk ago and went in this morning and was refunded $150 for one s4 and $150 bill credit for another. Also u have to b in the "A or B" credit bracket in order to qualify for the zero down. And for each line u open there is still a $50 charge for taxes. So 4 lines is $200 plus $10 per sim kit (new costomers).
I think thats about right.

I also suggest you flash back to stock reset the counter and then jump. Follow ALL instructions for flashing back to stock. I can't tell you what to do but I highly recommend you go back to stock BEFORE you try to jump. Best wishes.

Just was wondering. Somewhere I read the new International firmware trips your flash counter and traingle away doesnt reset it. And I've flashed just about everything out there lol. It's free with jump. I haven't noticed anything good or bad about it. Hasn't detected anything. Doesn't gripe about apks I've patched. We have 3 gigs of ram probably doesn't hurt. I'm in the anti male are scanners for android camp but until I flash a room without it I'm probably just going to leave it enabled. On the plus side if they update their signatures rapidly some of this bad **** that makes it to the market might get detected if your not a 0 day installer .
I certainly wouldn't pay the subscription price though. That's likely just free money for everyone in the collection chain.

A little bird told me starting on the 28th JUMP will no longer have a 6 month (180 day) waiting period to upgrade! You will also be able to upgrade an UN-Limited number of times per year!
Also, the international calling plan will change for the better, allowing better rates for calling to cell phones. I'll update this when I learn more.

I would say the first part about the Jump program is true but not the 2nd. It would be a bad business model and money loser for T-Mobile to allow any and everyone to upgrade unlimited times a year. The only way I could see this happen is if they reward their customers who have been here through all the BS like me, Ive been with T-Mobile since 2003, but I doubt it.
Well you can keep your grandfathered features, but customers always have unrealistic expectations. Not saying that yours are. And I would read post #6 in this thread, it kinda helps explain how the changes work. I honestly prefer the original JUMP plan.
