There are few online stores here in Moscow that sell the H815 version (not the 818 one that is officially sold in Russia).
The problem is non of those stores lists the origin of the phone, and from what I understand the same index is used for Turkish and Asian models as well.
Since I need the unlockable version I want to be sure that it is actually the EU open version before I buy it.
What specific codes should I look for on the phone or package? Can anyone with the 815 open EU version who unlocked their bootloader post picture of barcodes from their box/under the battery?
Thanks
Does someone Know???
H815 should be EU
H815T is Hong Kong
H815TR is Turkey (I think...from memory)
I have a Taiwanese version, and its number just says "H815". When I turned it on, everything was in Chinese. That was the only indication I had. When I managed to try to unlock the bootloader, the website said it was a Taiwan phone and bootloader unlocking was not supported.
EDIT: I looked back at the box. The sticker on the side of the box has "TWN" right above the IMEI number barcode on the right side.
All European H815 are now unlockable since Sep. 1st, not only the open market version anymore. But only European models, you can check the suffix on imeidata.net with the IMEI of the phone you wanna buy and choose Warranty & FW and you see the suffix, than you have to find out what that suffix means. If its a IMEI from a European country (Europe as region, not as continent.) like France, Netherland, UK, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy or a branded version in one of those countries (Yeah, they work too, I have a o2 Germany and a Vodafone Germany branded one and both are unlocked now.) you are good to go.

Anybody able to get esim working on att version? I've seen mixed responses on Reddit but the people who have been able to do it haven't responded with their firmware versions.

Is it only the ATT variant to support e-sim?
My HK version only has 1 sim support. No e-sim support.

All the phones have it to the best of my knowledge but carriers are software blocking them... Go to your settings then status and if you see under IMEI a esim IMEI than your phone has it. The unlocked softwares opened up for me.. the att firmware had it blocked

what do you mean by "blocked"? not showing the number? or greyed out?
mine shows the number for IMEI (eSIM) and IMEI SV (eSIM), but is greyed out.

I mean not letting them be used... On the international phone there's a "sim manager" where u can scan the QR code and do all the steps needed to activate the esim on a carrier... But on ours it's not there
I have F and U1 and the u1 doesn't have the sim manager option in the settings.
I'm sure it's a firmware limitation but just don't u understand why the us unlocked version won't have it.
Has anyone been able to get the sim manager in the U1 version?
I'd also like to know if anyone has figured out how to get e-sim support on the U1 model.

Hi everyone.
I have bought from eBay(Israel) an Sm-N975u1.
On first boot languages was limited and no Greek on it. So I choose it later at setting. But settings menu remains on English whatever I've tried to switch it to Greek. Do you know any firmware compatible to my N975u1 has Greek from the start?

Hi,
My phone was bought in Israel (not ebay) and I think it has greek language interface. Try the following steps:
1. Open Settings and search for Language and Input settings
2. Press first option Language
3. Press Add language
4. Scroll down to greek
See attached pics. Hope this helps. If it is a US model, then you'll probably won't find greek language interface in list.

I have done this. It has Greek Language interface b, but it's half translated. All settings menu is in English. Maybe I will try some locale software to check what is done
the EU software won't work with a US phone unfortunately, the phones are as different as you can get on the same phone as they on entirely different chips, so the software for Europe will all be for the Exynos phones and the US phone is a Snapdragon and their software is keyed to that, so unless you can find a region with Snapdragon and speaks Greek you are unlikely to find any hardware that will work for you.
it's the unfortunate fact of a device that is considerably different across different regions, so you would likely need a custom firmware with Greek added but I'm not sure that is even possible as the Snapdragon phones are more locked down.
Maybe N975w firmware contains Greek Language Completely?
probably not as it's Canadian. really on a phone from the Americas best you can likely hope on Euro languages is French, Spanish and Portuguese as those languages are quite common over there. but unfortunately I can't think of a country outside Greece that uses Greek as a main language.
Maybe the XAA firmware will have Greek language better integrated.

Edit
i have a n976n luc firmwere too i tried to change firm to koo but noething with odin normal mode but installed modyfied rom auto patch root inc and csc changed but i was having problems with signal celular network
I changed to KOO without modified rom. But 5g does not work outside korea due to carrier restrictions. Maybe in future can be solved.

Hello everyone, Unfortunately in my backwards country we still use CDMA in the biggest Tele company, so since the OP5 all the OP devices (Indian variants) had MEID which means the modem supports CDMA with a little QPST tweaks it works flawlessly.
But right now In my new OP9P has no MEID (Indian Variant) [I used to study there and friends will buy the phone for me and send it back with a traveler] as there is not official OP resellers in here.
Can other variants please check if you have MEID buy using * # 06 # (Dont share your MEID/IMEI with anyone, just tell me if there is an MEID)
And if other variants do have it do you think a firmware flash would help as usually its the same hardware just different firmware?
Doesn't look like it but mine is EU (LE2123 - 11.2.4.4.LE15BA)

I have the 9Pro EU model. When checking, I see one MEID and two IMEIs. Also, the numbers look legit, the MEID does not look like it's just a stub...

I have an LE2120 (China Version) with the DA (Indian Firmware) and the MEID number is present.
LE2125 (US/Global) has MEID and IMEI.
Le2123 MEiD and two IMEI
Thanks everyone, looks like it's a hardware limitation.
Hello. I'm little confused by how much fold4 models available on market. This post gives a description of some of available models but I really don't know what version is more suitable for me. Is there any difference between all rootable versions like SM-F936B EUX, SM-F936N and SM-F936B(/DS)?
I want to buy a device without any disabled features or mobile carrier locking. I tried to google for differences between these models but haven't find something. Can you please tell me what is the deference between these models of the same phone?
Also, should I take device AP, CP and CSC into account while choosing device to buy? Could it affect available device features?
Thank you in advance.
I Don't know it eather (otherwise the thread you mentionted would be more clear).
https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_z_fold4-11737.php says:
SM-F936B, SM-F936B/DS, SM-F936U, SM-F936U1, SM-F936N, SM-F936W
You can download firmware for diffirent models on samfw.com
Search for SM-F936, choose one from the list and you can see from which country they are.
I think the biggest diffirence is from which region they are.
In this thread you can see that the F936N will lock the camera if unlocking the bootloader.

Different region models... U/U1 are generallry US models,
W seem to be Canadian, N is Korean(I think, sorry Covid brain and low oxygen while writing this) and then the B and B/DS models are global with the DS being the dual sim version...
Alll models are then fed other conditions of use by the CSC. Some countries allow recording of calls while others don't, this will be setup by the CSC.
In all honesty, the B model is probably the easiest to find ROMs for as they tend to use OXM ROMS and you can us another countries ROM instead of waiting for anything to come to yours, especially good for where I live in Australia as we don't tend to get things fast. If you don't like the ROM you are using its easy to change to another countries ROM.
The W, U/U1 and N ROMS are region specific and depending how Samsung decides to do updates have to wait until region specific versions of ROM's are available.
Hope this helps...
Sorry, forgot to add, region models CAN'T flash any other region ROMs... You can't flash a W rom on a B, N or U/U1 model and vice versa and any other way you might want to try.. Best case the ROM won't flash, worst case you end up with a brick (if you somehow force the flash)...
Just an update that the U/U1 and W versions are often the exact same phone with some bands disabled for the US/Canada regions. People have flashed U/U1 ROMs successfully on the W and I've just gone the other way around. Straightforward flash and works without issues so far. Will update if something comes up.
Do the dual sim models have actual hardware differences? Other than the sim tray itself? Like can I use a dual sim tray in a single sim phone if I flash different software onto it?
