I was testing some stuff with the kernal and messed it up, i had backupped the original kernal in flashify, however i stupidly left it in the internal memory rather than the external SD, download mode and stock recovery still work fine, is there any way to retrieve this file through those modes and flash it via odin, or can anyone possibly provide a stock kernel? SM-T807T 5.0.2.
Thank you for any help or info anybody can provide.

I assume thats the one I need? I tried two others from the samsung firmware site but the flash fails. Maybe it was a bad download or I should try a different recovery?

Yep I have the SM-T310. I tried the XAR and BTU firmwares and both fail to flash. Not sure if those should work or not or if maybe they were bad downloads or if I should try a different recovery. Im on CWM 6.0.2.8.

The files that you downloaded come as tar.md5 and can only be flashed using ODIN, not recovery files.

Yeah it won't.. And are you sure you are flashing the latest firmware? Also make sure that you have kies uninstalled.. I'm not sure if there is a flashable pure stock ROM but if there is it would be in the development threads
hey guys, I am also interested in reflashing stock. I believe I have a backup on my phone, but don't know how to install it anymore. I know there used to be a thread on how to return to stock but I can no longer find it. Can anyone link me to the "how to reflash to stock" thread
I am currently running the wicked rom v10 and having a lot of radio issues.
here is what I have
android version 4.3
baseband: m919uvuamdl
kernal version 3.4.76--KT-SGS4-JB4.3-TW-TMO-01.13.2014---gaab917b

For warranty there haven't been reports of denial, but don't know about trading it in.. I don't think they will check though
Why not just factory reset? Probably the easiest way if you just want stock.

Give TWRP custom recovery a try, it works great!
Here is the direct download link for the N900T Note 3 TWRP:

Flash it using Odin.
Here is the direct download link for Odin, a Windows application
in case you need it: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/45687485/Odin85.zip
Good luck!

Please I tried to downgrade my galaxy S4 from t-mobile and I bricked it(already fixed it), but I need to downgrade it to unlock it. I tried every way I found here but I keep bricking it
I believe you are suppose to flash the 4.2.2 modem, root, the run regionlockaway, and reflash current modem.

I'm having trouble finding the modems
Confirm the model number in download mode, then do a google search for the appropriate firmware, extract the modem, and flash it?
I'm not sure but you maybe able to use other m919 roms for extract the modem to unlock the phone.

After downgrading the modem, I always recommend reflashing the latest rom from sammobile.com in Odin followed by a full wipe in stock recovery.

Yeah that was I ended doing since I didn't want any problem. I will upload it in a minute
1hr till it uploads ?
Here's regionlockaway
Here's the link:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_V3a99HuE-tNzUtaEVTN0hDRkE/view?usp=sharing
Both have the same files.
1. Unzip and flash 4.2.2 modem with Odin(CP Button).
2. Open RegionLockAway and follow the instructions.
3. Once RegionLockAway finish flash 4.4.4 modem.
It's better if you're in stock(if you wanna be sure nothing happens).

Hi, like the title says, is it possible to flash back to stock without a PC/Odin using something like Flashfire?
I currently have TWRP and AICP installed if that helps
Thanks

Flashfire should work(flashing stock rom is what it does). Just spend the time to read before you use it to avoid any problems...
I'm a little confused here, can I downgrade back to stock 4.4.4 from aicp 6.0.1im reading places that its not possible.
Need some clarity here
Thanks

I'm not sure which device you have, but I have i9195 and the latest stock rom is 4.4.2
And yes, you can downgrade to 4.4.2 using odin and the stock.tar.md5 file from any custom rom including 6.0 or even 7.1. I'm assuming you can use Flashfire to achieve the same thing as it is supposed to work the same way for those without a pc. I've always used odin though.
I have the i9195 too , and yes don't have access to use Odin, so I was wondering is it safe to do this with flashfire? Will it remove recovery also?
I won't be able to debrick if something goes wrong so need to get it right first time.
Oh and I didn't know 4.4.2 is latest, what's the best place to download it?

Well, flashfire is developed by the very well respected Senior Recognized Developer - Chainfire, so it is safe, but as I said, do your homework before using it. Flashing stock rom will replace any custom recovery with the stock recovery.
You can download the stock rom from a number of sites. I normally use sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com, but there are others. Just google it.....
