Bluetooth connection problem. - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I have a Galaxy Note 2 and I have a problem with the bluetooth. When I connected to my car (Prius 2010) it connects but when I try calling it says "out of service area" even though I'm not on a call. This has happened to many ROMs.
it doesn't work for some roms, and in some runs. I tried flashed LiquidSmooth, RESURRECTION, MIUI(V5,V6) and other. Some time it has worked. Previously, he worked on LiquidSmooth, but now is not working.
I did a factory reset and that didn't fix the problem. I had to install DN4 and that fixed the problem. I tried flash MIUI, LiquidSmooth again and the problem happened again. Help me please. Maybe it's kernel or modem. Any ideas?
Thanks.

[Q] Why does my wireless cut out when logging in?

Hi all. I have searched and nothing pertains to my problem.
I upgraded to a new rom (coredroid 7.1), and even going back a rom version my wireless keeps logging in and then disconnects for no apparent reason. It doesn't even pick up the IP address. Show's 'connecting' then 'disconnected' straight after. The one radio i have used has worked flawlessly.
Any ideas on what is going on?

It can be a kernel issue... some kernels are not compatible with certain routers to get info from them to connect. Try flashing a different kernel and see the results.
Ah I tried a new radio and Kernel but it still does the same thing. Rebooted the router and reinstalled my phone rom as well and nothing changes with the problem.
try flashing a rooted stock rom. if still cannot connect, i hope you're still under warranty and send it back to htc
Ah well after flashing a new radio and kernel then reflashing the rom, it decided to work again after I changed the channel on the router....... Confused yet? I was. So thanks for your help it's now working fine.

WiFi not turning on?

Ok so a couple of days ago I installed a 4.0 ready radio on my galaxy s2 and then went on to install Jedi Knight 6 ROM (4.0.4 and radio is UVMC6) and after installation everything was working fine.. I was messing around for a while.. it worked today, I shut my phone off to charge it up real quick, and when I turned it back on my WiFi would not connect. Well not necessarly connect.. it just wont even turn on. When I go into settings and click WiFi, it just sits there saying, Turning WiFi on, and never changes.. I can't seem to imagine what could have happened to it, and I really dont wanna have to reinstall the ROM again because i just spent hours getting this one all set up to my liking...
Anyone got any ideas?
EDIT: BTW, I have tried many things.. Tried airplane mode to disable everything then turn it back on, obviously tried rebooting the phone, i have tried wiping cache in CWM recovery and also tried fix permissions in recovery (another topic said to try those..)
Nothing has worked so far, i'm about to try reflashing my radio, see if that works.. but I really really dont want to have to reflash my whole ROM.. So if anyone has any other ideas please help, i'll edit if the radio works..
EDIT 2: Reflashing the radio did nothing.. it's really wierd, the data, bt, gps.. all of it works fine, it's just the WiFi that's frozen turning on... cant get it to stop turning on and can't get it to actually turn on..
EDIT Final: Ok well, i guess nobody knows what might have been going on.. so I just wound up reflashing my ROM, which obviously fixed it.. i just had to lose all that time spent setting everything up... But oh well.. Kinda sucks nobody even tried to help..

+1 I'm going through the same thing now
I have been having this same issue as well. It started out as stock happening sporadically. One thread suggested rooting and removing my account. Problem still occurring. Tried flashing multiple ROMs and now WiFi hasn't connected at all always stuck at turning on. I have tried clear cache, fix permissions, as well as reinstalling ROM dirty and with factory reset. I'm hoping this isn't hardware failure because I just bought this phone used but it seems to be a reoccurring problem with others as well. Any NEW suggestions not given from quick Google/xda search?

I'd suggest to check your Wireless Access Point (modem or router) wireless settings for security, check and see if it's set to use WPA/WPA2, which is common on some modems/routers, change it to either WPA or WPA2 (preferred) not both, it's a known issue with WiFi networks and having it set to using both, I had the same problem before with my phone connecting to my WiFi.
Also if you use MAC Address Filtering on the modem/router, you should disable/clear that and let phone re-connect before enabling mac filtering again.

The problem I am having is not that it won't connect to a particular network. Wifi will not initialize on the device at all and is stuck in "Turning On..." state. I found more and more posts where people ended up having to send in to Samsung so I spoke with them and even though I purchased the phone used its thankfully still under warranty and they will be replacing it. The did not confirm whether or not it was a true known device issue but were quick to file the exchange for me.
sigh, me too!
Just started having this problem on 4.3.1
great.
In my case, I had to wipe system and data before reinstalling my ROM.
Though the only reason it was happening to me was because Beanstalk 4.4.2 didn't want to get past the splash screen when I tried to install it so I downgraded back to ICS 4.0.4 without wiping. Good luck getting this issue fixed. Also another kernel might fix thingz for you if your current one does not like your device.
I have a similar problem. After a while, WiFi gets disconnected. If I go in settings - wifi, i get the message "unfortunately, settings has stopped" and I can't get WiFi to work again until I reboot the phone. The Wifi works again for a couple of minutes then stops.
I have flashed various different ROM (CM11, PA) but keeps getting the exact same behavior.
I've rebooted in safe mode and I don't get the problem now.

Wi-Fi on custom ROMs

Last night I tried flashing cynogenMod 10.1.3 on my stock 4.1.2 Note 2. I followed their instructions, and everything went well but the Wi-Fi never connected to my router. It stayed saying connecting... then network saved. The password was correct. I restored my backed up ROM and on it the Wi-Fi was working. I flashed the cynogenMod Nightlies 10.2 and the same problem was there. I downloaded a stock ROM and flashed with Odion, and the Wi-Fi worked. I flashed Ressurection Remix ROM and on it as well the Wi-Fi didn't work. I tried a few non touchwiz ROMs and all of them the Wi-Fi didn't work, it only works on stock ROMs and TW based ROMs. Is there a way to know more about the cause of this issue? Did other experience such an issue as mine?
I would be greatly obliged if anyone can offer me help.
I have tried many custom roms of every type and build, never had any issue with wifi
perhaps you can try to setup static ip address on the connection instead of DHCP, see if that helps, or try installing something like wifi manager from the store, and use it to connect, see if it gives any more info ?
sorry if this doesn't help, can't think of anything atm

WiFi Failed to Connect

Hello everyone,
Whenever I try to connect to a protected wifi network, I get this 'failed to connect to network' error. So it started when i was using Blisspop. WiFi was working great until suddenly it felt like no data was being transferred by wifi. I forget the network and then tried to relogin to it, but I started getting this error. I proceeded to fullwipe and reflashed just Blisspop without gapps or anything but I get this error when setting up WiFi for the first time in google setup. Then, I flashed resurrection remix which didn't ahve this problem. Follwing, I flashed cm12 and euphoria rom(aosp) and they both had this failed to connect to network issue, therefore it is not only a cm problem. May I know what might have happened and what can I do to fix it? Since no one else seem to have this problem. I repeatedly flash back resurrection remix and it always worked like a charm. I assume stock would work too, but I can test it if anyone needs that information. Thanks guys!

Wifi problem

One week ago I rooted our Nexus 5X and installed custom roms, everything worked except the wifi.
The problem is that the phone finds the network connects to it and then reconnects and on and on.
It the wifi settings it says "saved" "connecting" and contunie like that....
So I decided to unroot and install the latest Stock firmware again, but the problem is still there.
Anyone here who knows how to svolve this?
