Has anyone else recently started to have battery issues? Im using the stock battery, phone and battery is about 4 months old, the battery percentage once it hits about 45 to 55 % will start to rapidly drain, if I reboot the phone during that time the phone will reboot and the battery now reads 0%, then will continually boot loop till I plug it in??????//

Has anyone else been having issues with their battery? On several occasions when I have been charging my phone, the battery indicator will stay at whatever percentage it was at before I plugged it in and my phone will reach temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. When I pull the battery and restart my phone, the charge is way higher from what it was previously, like from 7% to 65%. I don't think it has anything to do with how I treat my battery, I always unplug it when it hits full charge and drain it to 0% once a month. This only started happening recently and I am wondering if I should replace my battery.
I've been have several issues with battery as well. Best thing I can say is charge the phone to max while the phones off. Then boot to CMW and wipe battery status. Usually after that if u end up rebooting you'll have to connect charger then unplug to refresh battery percent.

I am facing a severe issue with the battery of my samsung galaxy SIII which i have purchased in june-12.
Sometime battery of my phone is charged very quickly( max 1 hour) & then it will discharge very quickly(max 2 hours) too. Battery will completely discharge from 100% to 0%(in 2-3 hours).
This problem occurs once in 10 time.
I have observed, When my phone battery start charging very fast, from 10% to 85% in just 20-30 minutes.
i disconnect the charger, Restart the phone & it is showing only 12% battery remaining.
It means phone was not charging just the battery percentage is going up.
this problem comes to me at least once in week. and i have to charge my phone 4 times a day.
Normally, I can use my phone battery for full day once fully charged.
So, it doesn't seems to be a battery issue.
Please have a look in the issue & guide me how to proceed.
Hi,
I am having issues with the remaining battery % being displayed:
1. If I power my phone off & on again, the battery % drops drastically e.g. 60% prior to power off, then 15% when its powered back on. The battery % will then increase over the next hour or so.
2. Yesterday my battery reached 0% and auto shutdown. I plugged into charger, immediately powered the phone on & it was then displaying 49%. I then unplugged from the charger and the battery gradually reduced from 49% over the usual timeframe.
I am running latest ZMOD & LuckyK kernel, but this error has occurred with other ROMs including stock.
Any ideas of how to fix?
Thank you
Hi, I picked up my phone from repair shop a week ago and since then when my battery goes below 55% i get message that battery is 0% and phone is shutting down, and then I put it on charger and sometimes it starts recharging from 1% but sometimes from 55% and if i charge it to 60% it works normally, but when i charge it to 100% it turns off on 55%, can someone help me please is it problem in software or maybe it is problem in battery?

It sounds very much like this:

I replaced the battery and it's been working well for a few months now.
Battery drop from 50 % to 0 %
I had the same issue.
After force shut down (power + vol-up for 10 sec), the battery went back to normal.

EDIT :
That was a short lifesaver, battery is "fubar".
Guys , maybe there's something wrong with the battery charging in Amami . I have two Z1C, one of which normally charge up to 100 %. But the other charges the battery to 100% only in Stock 4.4.4 ... In all versions of Lollipop (stock or not) battery charges to 82% ... Calibration of the battery does not help. I replaced the battery - no change. I tried another powerful charger by Samsung - without effect. Anybody have an idea what's going on ?
So my phone is always saying that its battery is at 1%. When it charges, it charges up to 100%, then quickly drops to ~50% in 3 or 4 mins of use, then immediately dropping at 1%. It isn't the battery because after rebooting, the phone stays at 1% for some time then again it shuts itself down. Is there any way to just ignore the battery % so it won't auto shut down?
Battery jump to 1%
I have same problem. After full charge (100%) the phone is started and than the battery indicator jumped to 1%. After that I switched off the phone and fully recharged again. Unplug the phone and start. The battery indicator show 1% again. After that switch off ... full recharge to 100% .. unplug .. switch on the phone ... jump to 1% again .... Calibration is not solved this problem. If I using the phone for youtube, browsing .. etc., it working for 5-10 minutes and after that battery indicator jump to 0% and the phone switch off. It will simple restart and I can use it for 5-10 minutes again. It working so cca. hours before it fully discharging. It's have new battery and new charging panel.
