Bricked E975

Hi there folks
I rooted my LGOG with the motochopper method and it gave me a lovely rooted device.
Then i decided to install Rom Manager and grant it super user acces.
When i rebooted after the rom manager had downloaded the recovery files it got stuck at
"secure booting error!"
Cause : boot certification verify
My problem now is ive got all the tutorial files found in this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624 post, but the original firmware program doesn't connect to the lg servers with my model number and IMEI.
Could someone with an E975 help me with a stock kdz so i can save whats left of the brick, it can stil do download mode etc and switch off.
Thanks in advance
i heave same problem.nothing ist lost.dont panic.i heave this kdz file atvhome.you must fladh overit and the phone will boot up normal.when i come home i will upload this file to my dropbox.that will hapen in 30minutes.greatings

Here you GO

Well, maybe you will not get errors next time if you UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER.Only rooting is not enough. You need root to be able to use FREEGEE,to unlock the bootloader. Unlocking the bootloader with freegee will also flash CWM recovery or TWRP, depending on your choice.
See what happens when you don't document yourself properly before trying to do things?
All is fine now, i couldn't download the KDZ since i edited my host file when flashing the L9 two months back.
Im waiting on the freegee support now. cheers

[Q] Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify

Hi,
My phone specs:
LG G3-D855
Android-version 5.0
V20E
Today I rooted my phone with this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
Everything went well and got my phone rooted. After that I tried to install TRWP, except I missed a line in that guide and got the error above.
"I saw a lot of questions of G3 users about how to install Twrp after the root, so I will explain briefly:
For now, if you are on stock lollipop you can't just flash Twrp via flashify etc like the old days in KitKat,"
So I did use Flashify to flash TWRP and got the error and I'm unable to go into recovery mode.
Looked up on google on what I can do to fix this problem and found this:
http://lgg3root.com/lg-g3-root/how-to-unrootunbrick-lg-g3/
In this guide they say I can download the LG G3 Stock Factory Firmware. Looked for my version and they listed:
Android 4.4.2 V10E LG G3 Stock Firmware D855 European 16GB
Except when I look into my phone and look at the version it says V20h-E, would that be a problem when I use the V10E?
Or is there another way to fix this problem?
@Midway6
only one method I think : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
When you flash on Lollipop a twrp without dowgrade aboot and laf and no bump boot , your G3 is blocked.
First you root your G3 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
Then you use Autorec , the apk from @bender_007 : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=b007.autorecd855

Does that mean I can use the V10E with my V20H to go back to stock?
Nevermind I found the V20H in the Lollipop V5.0 folder. I'll use this one
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G3/Stock/Lollipop+5.0/D855/
Gonna try the link you gave me. I'll report back when I tried it.

you can apply the 20H kdz yes, then you root and use autorec.

I did that method so far so good. Waiting for Android to finish those upgrades and I'll root again.
So first I'll use that one click root method and after that I use Autorec application to install the recovery?

Yes exactly.
Before autorec, this method worked well but since bender_007 develop autorec for the G3 I recommend it

I'm getting a error while flashing.
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: No md5 file found
Error flashing zip '/external_sd/.........zip'
Updating partition details...
done...
Failed.
I've never heard of a MD5 while flashing a rom.
How can I fix this problem? Is it necessary for flashing?
I never check md5 on twrp because I have always this error message. So flash the Rom without md5.
Before backup the Rom stock with twrp

Ota update help

Hi I just received a 18mb update i.e. V20L. My device is rooted. When I tried to install the update it said that it has detected root and hence software update not possible.
Can someone help?

You'll first need to revert to stock using either the KDZ or TOT method before taking the OTA...

Thanks for the reply. That means I'll have to install all apps all again.
Any method I can make the Ota file flashable through recovery?
Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
not if u backup all apps i use all in one tool box so when u go back stock just download all in one then restore apps make sure ure back saves on external sd or will be lost on restore from tot.
A TWRP flashable *.zip can be created from the KDZ file, but I'm not sure how it's done. Unfortunately the only TWRP flashable ZIPs I'm aware of are for the D851, those having been created from the 20b, 20e, and 20g KDZs.

Well I recommend a clean TOT or KDZ flash. Hope this will fix your problem. Please do follow this post to flash TOT or KDZ http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2785089 then Update If update available (Sometimes we get update in KDZ or TOT) then reroot again

Following this guide will get you a secure boot error when attempting to boot into recovery. Even so following this guide is impossible because root is required and OP has no root on his kdz flashed MM.
My recommended solution would be reverting back to kitkat via kdz. If unfamiliar with the method follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
After reverting use the guide from post above: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-2-8-2-0-t2966129
to flash TWRP.
Then fell free to flash whatever you want in TWRP. If stock lollipop ROM is you what you desire, download zip from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
if stock MM is what you wish for download zips from here:

Yeah
Even so if his MM would somehow be rooted it was still kdz flashed so it contains
MM bootloader. That equals BUMP not working.
Hope you had fun.
