Has anyone else run into the issue of your music widget not displayed (while playing) on the lock screen?
Whenever I've actively been playing music via Google Play Music (on S2, S4, and S5) I've had access to the widget on the lock screen to skip, pause, etc.
Currently, I don't have access on the S6. I've also tried doing a factory reset and still no luck.
Anyone have any on the fix?
If you're using a lock like a pin, pattern or fingerprint, you need to allow all notifications to be seen on the lock screen. If you have them blocked or set to only show which apps have notifications waiting, you won't get the widget on the lock screen.

I can't seem to figure out if it's possible to activate S-Voice from the lockscreen with a double tap of the home button?
I don't want to burn by battery up using the voice wake for S-Voice on the lockscreen because the device is always listening.
I'm running Widget Locker, but I disabled it and still couldn't get S-Voice to activate from Lockscreen with double tap.
Am I missing something or is it just not possible?
It appears the only way to do this is in Security settings to turn the Unlock setting to NONE. Then in Widget Locker, enable the Allow Home Button option.
But then I believe there is no way to lock your phone. Seems the only way I can think of to access S-voice from lockscreen and be able to lock the phone is to add S-Voice to one of the docked apps on the lockscreen. But that didn't work, as S-voice won't do anything until you enter the lock code. Makes sense as S-Voice would give you access to opening a lot of apps and such on the phone.
So it seems I have to either live with the phone never being locked, or have to type a PIN or whatever to unlock it to use S-Voice.
Smart Lock App was the answer. Now I can double tap home for S-voice from lockscreen, but you need a pin to get into my email and Facebook apps. Not I just need to figure out anything else I need to lock. No sensitive data on the card. The main thing is not allowing anyone into anything they can make payments or access my cloud files. Guess I should lock Google Play since it has automatic payment of apps?
so.. i've noticed that when i first used my Galaxy S4 w/the Watchon lock screen widget, i could set a password and it would still show up as a panel on the lock screen.
however i am now unable to get the watchon screen to show on my pattern lock screen. is anyone else having this problem? it was working fine yesterday w/my pattern password.
i have messed w/a ton of settings being a phone geek and all but i cannot get the WatchOn to show back up on the Lockscreen w/a password set. Yes, i can get it showing with just Swipe set as my security but its so weird i had it and no matter what i do i can't get it back. (disabled daydream, etc).
any ideas?

I was wondering if there was a way to allow widgets in conjunction with a pattern lock screen. My widget locker setup works fine but part of it has a camera hot-spot using uccw. The problem is that every time I click on it, I must input my pattern to access the camera. This is the same with every other widget on my lock screen. I am confused because with the sense lock, you are able to access the camera without entering the pattern. It is only until you try to exit out of the camera that it'll ask you for the pin- this feature is something htc calls "tourist mode" I believe.
Is this possible with WidgetLocker? Why must the pin be entered in order to access any of the widgets. Is there a way to only require the pattern for the phone unlocking process instead?

How do I keep idle apps on lock screen. For example pocket cast. I listen to podcast and if its done playing will eventually not be on lock screen. Or if i have app running and not playing it will not show when I lock the screen. I would like to have pocketcast on lockscreen even if im not playing it at that moment.
Man, if anyone could tell me how to get rid of the Lock Screen media controls that would be great.
I have the widget turned off in Lock Screen, and in AOD. I have the media playback control feature turned on in the notifications drop down. Force closing Amazon music makes it go away for a few minutes, then sure enough its back. Anyone on the Beta figure out how to get rid of it?
