Hello.
I rooted my D855 with Stump and then flashed Recovery,PA, SuperSu, and Gapps.
Now, I don't have root access.
I tried using Stump again but it says my device is not supported..
What can I do?

I'd say a pretty general approach would be that you flash fullstock and try it again. I rooted my D855 with the LG One Click Root which roots your phone and installs SuperSu automatically. Afterwards I'd start to flash a custom recovery and things like gapps.
cheers

I have a ls980ZVE that was previously updated to ZVE through OTA. I don't know if it was rooted previously or not, so in order to root it i installed stump. but grind button was disabled and it says device is rooted, so i thought i might be rooted already so i installed supersu from playstore and it displays message "There is no SU binarry installed, and superSU can't install it.
now can anyone tell me what do i do? i just want a clean rooted device, but would not mind custom recovery if there would be no problems.
any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Doesn't sound rooted to me. Try towelroot.com. I've used it a lot and it has always worked for me. Su should work after that

If it were me, i would try downloading the lg flash tool and the back to stock ROM tot files and return it to the original stock and root the phone at that point. You can then install a custom ROM. Sounds like they are blocking root with the zve update. I use the cm 12 lollipop resurrection ROM and I love it
I use rr also, but from zve. I used stump root.
You have to use the "brute force" method with Stump root if you are on ZVE. Haven't done it in a while and don't remember where that option is in Stump root but it is there.

Totally wrong section, you should search and read before doing anything to your phone. Anyways, download chainfire's latest supersu from the internet, flash it in recovery, and you'll have root.

I did that and still get the same thing
Did that and still didn't work. Is it because I'm running 5.0?

That isn't the reason. Chainfire's SuperSU has supported Lollipop for some time now. What version did you try?

I go to recovery. I hit install that version..says installed and I restart my phone. It Still doesn't work. Could it be because I didn't delete other zip file from my phone?

Dude, there is your problem right there!
The advice was to flash the latest SuperSU. That would be 2.46 (or even the couple versions before that also work with LP). You are 44 versions behind!

i think you can try rooting with kingroot, then flashing twrp, then flash cm13. Though I have not tried this method before. From what I read kingroot only gives temporary root which lasts a reboot so you gotta download everything, root, install autorec from play store, then reboot into twrp and flash.
Don't try Autorec method on Marsmallow rom. It will hard brick your phone (it's hard to repair it for inexperienced user).
What I recommended is tot method for retrieving stock lollipop. Then you can try root and Autorec.

Which baseband do you have?
Try first method in this thread: click (with ADB on)
It's worked for me even on V21C.

Hey everyone,
I rooted my device (G3 D855 running v20h) via Kingroot and I'm willing to change ROM.
On my other device I used AutoRec to install TWRP and it worked perfectly, however now AutoRec is gone for some reason and I have no idea how to install TWRP without getting secure boot error and all this crap.
Can you please help me? I really want to change firmware.
Thanks!

Can you not just reinstall Autorec? The process would be the exact same as the first time you installed TWRP

that's a pretty exotic manner to root your device lol (I guess you meant TWRP and not Twerk because I don't really want to think you twerked in front of your phone and gained root privilege instantly, no one is that attractive)
Did you flashed the Magisk zip? What was the zip you flashed?

Wow I think you need to reset the whole thing... Do a backup before, and flash the stock rom with twrp. I'm not specialized in unbricking phones, I know that's an option but someone with more experience may know a way around the reset. Do some reserch on how to unbrick and if you don't find anything then just wipe and flash the stock rom (or a custom rom)
