LG G3 Beat D724 update is not completing - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All:
I have LG G3 Beat D724 Dual Sim, I got an OTA update.............. it is about 600 MB ..(I think it is Lollipop)
the Download is completed to 80 % then it will disconnect Automatically & after a restart it will be downloading again from beginning, that happened about four times
I don't know why they don't send the OTA through a download manager so it complete the download from the last point where it stop downloading really very stupid move from LG.
now is there is away to download the update through another App or manually (NO Root) ???
Any one have D724 with Lollipop any issues ???
do you advice to update or ignore it.

I suggest to you, do not update to android 5.
I do it and this version of android for lg g3 beat have problems.
1. When screen goes to dim it have jumping.
2. Some games may not working.
And ... .
I am waiting to lg publish new upgrade to remove this crashes.

recover stock ( SOLVED )

Hello guys , I am new LG mobile user(CURIOUS ONE)
I bought LG OPTIMUS G PRO F240L and installed miui because i loved its interface ...
when i tried to get back to the stock rom I followed.
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2420219
It was easy... but in the end I encountered problem named (BATTERY POWER IS LOW , Please recharge your phone (something similer) .
I found a solution , It was a simple trick
** just followed above thread **, after when the lg support tool opens. it checks mobile is connected ,after that i removed my usb cable from device.
Well this solved problem. But after few minutes of extraction of kdz , It gave error that "Cannot Connect to the Network" ... well it was solved automatically. simply moved that error dialog and under that the support tool was installing stock rom... everything was solved, I loved kitkat 4.4.2 on this BEAST.
I HOPE ABOVE EXPERIENCE HELPS OTHERS
but alas I just tried miui again on it.. and after using it for while I wanted to get back on stock rom...
now this time whole errors are different...
LOG FILE IS ATTACHED(support-log.txt)
I just copied it.. from support tool.. front end ui.
KINDLY SOME ONE HELP ME !!!!!.

I selected CDMA after that and started test with CSE WEB UPGRADE TEST

[Q] Unfortunately (every app) has stopped

I got a new LG G3 and after a few days of playing with it I decided I would root it. I used towel root (the one by geohot) then I tried to overclock the phone using cpu
tuner. I wasn't really successful. I tried two or three different configurations. They were glitchyy and didn't work right so I restored to default and decided I would try again once I understood a little better. I o only have a remedial understanding. The phone kept crashing when I opened contacts and google play store. I did a factory reset and it has made no difference. Some apps won't work at all. They just immediately display "unfortunately the app has stopped" some work for a few minutes and display the same message. And some work perfect. I have found no rhyme or reason. I hope I didn't break my phone. Anyone have any suggestions?
Your gonna need to reflash whole phone.
HERE, but use the correct .tot and .dll files for your specific variant of G3.

what about att?
Thank you, do you happen to have a guide for the att version?

You basically use this guide, but you make sure drivers are working 1st, instead of using Sprint files, use .tot and .dll from HERE. Make sure your model # is D850.

Lollipop root problem

LG 10.1 wireless only. I upgraded to Lollipop and I am trying to root with the one click script I get a screen that says download mode I start the script my tablet switches to a screen that says updating firmware and that is where it sits. What am I doing wrong? I installed the drivers and Windows can see the tablet when it is on.
I tried many methods to root Lollipop stock on my G Pad 7, but this one is the only that worked for me. It requires to do steps manually, but it works! I was in your same situation, hope it helps..

[ zer0lab.dev ~ Lollipop stock on LG G2 ~ xda free ]
Thanks I'll try that in the next day or two.

Try with the version 1.3 LG one click root
I have always had to do steps manually. The auto-rooter app only worked once for me across all my devices. It seems to not always work reliably, typically requiring 3 or more attempts before the script actually takes off and roots the device.

Mine rooted first try with kingroot on lollipop , but use at least version 4.1 and 4.5 update from kingroot allowed me to use supersume to switch for upersu with successful binary update... For some reason I am NOT seeing anyone else anywhere mentioning have done this method like me so I'm curious why more people haven't figured that one out lol or I'm just missing a bunch of post somewhere

There are a few different posts around regarding using Kingroot for the G Pad. I had a significant delay in root appearing/working initially then getting king off of the pad. But recently updated everything, tried again and didn't have as many problems.
Yeah it was not a lot of issues to kingroot and switch to supersu, the problem now is I rebooted one day all the sudden and it is stuck in a boot loop I cannot get out of or find clear instructions on how to get out of. I can get to the Verizon logo, or recovery where any option send me to the fast boot screen and it will send me to a blank screen. I don't have a computer and don't really know what to do with it. The crazy thing is I didn't do anything at all that would have cost that it just did it, unfortunately it's just one of the risk of rooting

Upgrade to Official VZW Nougat using Software Upgrade Assistant!

Hi all, I was messing with the Verizon software Upgrade Assistant and managed to upgrade my SM-G930V from 6.0.1 to 7.0. Here are my steps so feel free to give it a try yourself.
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible if the install fails and your phone is bricked blah blah blah. I also cannot guarantee this will work for everyone.
Let's get started!
1. Plug in Galaxy to computer
2. Pull down notifications and tap USB Charging
3. Select Software installation
4. Find Verizon Mobile in My computer or This PC (It will look like a CD Drive)
5. Run the VZW Software Upgrade Assistant
6. Follow the installation steps on screen
7. Run the upgrade assistant. It will check for an update and download it for you.
8. Change the phone to File Transfer mode the same way as above from the notification menu
9. Click Upgrade! The update files will be sent and your phone will reboot into download mode.
10. Wait as it will take a while. Your phone will reboot to Recovery and install the update now.
11. After another reboot, you will see "Upgrading Android" as it optimizes your apps. This can take a while based on how many you have.
12. You may get a prompt saying some apps must be upgraded. Just follow the onscreen options.
13. You're done! Enjoy android 7.0!
Hope this helped you get the update! Feel free to ask questions. I'm more than happy to help to the best of my abilities. I'm no expert, however.
this is what i had to do on mine......it kept giving me error 402 when I tried to wifi OTA
Thanks OP! The SW update on the S7 Edge I just bought kept stating it was up to date, but it was running Android 6.0. Your steps def solved that issue! One tip was that the VZW SW got hung up forever trying to run some type of update, but the real "VZW Software Upgrade Assistant" that I need to run was hidden down in the systray. I ran that one and all was smooth... didn't even need to open ODIN. lol!
Unlocked?
