Hi everybody, please help me
I got my kindle fire hd 8.9 with update 8.5.1. and I got problem with wireless network configuration.
I use multiple wireless networks with different IP ranges (depends on wifi routers)
I can't set different wireless settings for each network, edit one cause affect to all others too. (I user static IP).
Do anyone get this problem like me?

Has anyone managed to get dual band MIMO working on the Kindle Fire HD?
I've got a dual band Netgear WNDR3700 Router, and can connect to both channels separately. However, I can't see an option in the Kindle Fire's wifi setting, that allows one to enable MIMO and connect to both channels. Is a specific key security required for MIMO? I have WPA-PSK enabled on both channels, but am at a loss to see how to utilise them in tandem on the Fire HD.

Kindle Fire HD forum found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1782 .
I successfully rooted the kindle fire 1st gen and loaded android jelly bean using:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192818
and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2051331
however, my kindle connects to my router only at 802.11 G speeds (54 Mbps).
if I set my router to N only, then the kindle doesn't connect.
quick search shows that the device is N compatible.
am i missing something, or can someone tell me if this is a known issue (search doesn't give any answers).
thanks.
Hi,
There are many WiFi around my fire TV, and sometimes new WiFi will appear. Some of them don't need password and stronger.
how can I connect fire TV to my fixed wireless WiFi and ignore another WiFi automatically?
thanks
Hiya folks, I have a wifi connection issue with Fire Stick.
My router is TP-Link WR841N
My TV is a Samsung LE40C650LKXXU
The Fire Stick won't connect because it won't recognise the Gateway.
Any ideas, you good people?
Thank you
Cath
Use DHCP instead of a static IP.
Try a different wifi channel
my fire tv 2nd gen is showing 2 diff. ip's but one mac address in my router attached devices window . netgear WNDR4300v2
192.168.49.1 is showing whether i connect my fire tv , wired or not wired, to my network. it shows as UNKNOWN under DEVICE NAME
this just started recently .

Do you have a different launcher by chance? The reason I ask is mine shows that same ip address when using Halauncher if I enable "show ip" in settings. I can only adb into it using the ip I get from settings.
