Totally worth it. Camera department ois camera software is awesome. Fast phone. Battery is good on me so far. I prefer internal memory because im not limited to apps and games i install. I use spottify for music. 100 gb cloud storage microsoft one drive is cool. I store pics and vids manually. Very worth the upgrade....

I have had the S6 for about a week and would say it is very much worth it. I have not had any issues with battery life. With the two biggest complaints I have heard being no removable battery and no sd card, since you are fine with both of those I would say the upgrade is well worth it.

YES!

Definately worth it for the camera alone. Screen is better, CpU is lightning fast, built much better. Yes, upgrade.

It is absolutely worth it. I wasn't a Samsung phone fan until this phone came out. You can check out my blog explaining, in a nutshell, why this phone has turned me into a fan.
Long story short, the camera phenomenal, the hardware is stellar, the design is the best they've ever come out with, and they come with so much free apps/software...and it's stuff you can actually choose to disable or uninstall (for the most part). They've streamlined the UI to look much cleaner, too. The phone is awesome. Really worth a look in person.
I'm a Sprint Employee. My opinions are my own, and do not reflect an official statement from the company.

Is it worth it even after all the RAM issues? In all honesty, my Nexus 4 outperforms this thing. Kinda disappointing considering how well specked out this beast is.

I meant the Nexus 4 outperforms it in-terms of real world usage. Benchmarks do not dictate a good experience. Sure, the S6 may load apps faster, but my Nexus is much smoother. Also, the S6 will start to reload apps once you have more than 3 apps open in the background

Returning mine.

I got my SGx2 yesterday but I am sending it back. Here are a few things that I found that some may find helpful;
1) Screen resolution is simply too low for this large of a display. Many apps were grainy due to stretching, web pages were difficult to read and did not zoom correctly. Buttons and UI elements were comically large. I think the engineer had a sight problem.
2) Tethering did not work - Mind that I do not have the tethering option on my plan, and yes I know there are work arounds however coming from a nexus s I am spoiled. It simply forces your browser to a t mobile page to upgrade your account.
3) I heard several people say don't knock Touchwiz 4 until you try it, well I tried it and didn't like it. Very fisher price feeling, too cartoony for my tastes. I had to install launcher pro as soon as i could.
4) There was so much bloatware on this device. There were at least 15 apps that I would never use.
Good Stuff
1) Even though the screen resolution is crap, it still is a pretty screen, very bright and vibrant.
2) Data is fast, very very fast. This will be what I miss most going back to my nexus s. I was getting 13MB down in Milwaukee.
3) Fast, can't knock the performance. The first non-stock android experience i have had that didn't have any lag. I would love to see a stock android build run on this thing.
I hope this helps answer any questions for potential buyers. Feel free to ask anything I may have missed.
I've got a nexus s and I have been debating getting the sgs2. I love my nexus and personally like Samsung phones...only thing holding me back is waiting to see if the prime makes it to T-Mobile sometime. I don't wanna be waiting for ICS and I know the nexus s will get it. I'm also debating the amaze, but as I said, I like Samsung better then htc

OP what device did you come from and are you going to the IP4S?
i was going to buy this phone on launch date, but i think i will also wait this one out, and see whats coming out in the next few months. nexus one still does what i need it to do.
I use a Nexus S. I do have an IP4S on order, but my Nexus will still remain my primary device. I am the sysadmin for alot of organizations that use the google apps eco system. For that Android will always be my primary.
What did you expect going from pure android to masked android . I'm waiting on this phone for the annoucement next week and to see if Cyanogen supports it. I'm assuming they will because they supported the Vibrant and it sucked.

This is precisely why I have been with my nexus this long, and my original droid before that. Unfortunately I was convinced by all of the professional reviewers that this unit was somehow different. It's no harm no foul, im only out the $12 for the overnight shipping
tru.dat I'm currently using Nexus One and have been since the day it came out. It's just time and Hercules w/ Cyanogen or the Galaxy Nexus is the perfect device to give it up. If I do get a hercules then I'm gonna throw launcher pro ASAP I hate touchwiz and I've seen 4.0 on Epic touch just lame
Just walked into the store and played with the gs2. I can't justify spending 600 on it when my nexus works just as well, nothing that special

If you have a pure google phone stay away from it. Not a real reason to upgrade. T-mobile wants you to pay for tethering mytouch 4g tethering didn't work outside the box either. Touchwiz makes everything look big use a different launcher like adw ex , go launcher, or launcher pro. to adjust rows and columns. Once root comes change the density of the phone to make everything look better also uninstall the battery draining bloatware. The nexus prime will be nice with its 720p display but for one doesn't have a sd card. Apps will be even more incompatible with the screen look at certain games on the sensation. Ice cream sandwich source will drop meaning it will reach all rooted phones within a month or two. The only benefit you get is straight google updates. Unless you want touchwiz with icecream you'll be running cm 8 or miui.
Like mentioned here, waiting to see how XDA devs support for it, CM7, and other love from developers.
I was lucky to at least have devices with XDA Support. Blind luck. I'm sure it will get it. It better lol
Posting from this phone and i can say this phone is blazing fast!!!

I think a handful of people doing an upgrade or buying retail will be let down. If your coming from a sensation or a Nexus S than I could see why. This is not a god phone and although it comes with some goodies. Some might think it's not that big of a step up. Personally the screen alone makes the other phones pale in comparison.
People getting new contracts will most likely be happy with this phone. I don't see any other on tmobile at the moment that I would sign a two year contract on.

well at least i know i finally can dump the nexus S for Hercules, for the extra space speed and SD card slot

couldn't do much with the limited space

Well for one all the reports say it doesn't. Also google would probably want to keep it from having a sd card slot. Less vulnerable to exploits. Internal memory is also faster than sdcard slot.

You should still wait for the prime if it has 64 internal gig memory. Then it will be a buy over this if its just 16 gigs no sd card slot like the nexus s. 16 gig space isn't enough with all the clockwork backups titanium backups. and miui back ups. You'll run out of space fast. I personally cant get a phone without a sd card slot because i watch a lot of movies and listen to a lot of music on my phone.
I got the Hercules this morning, was the 2nd one to get it at my local T-Mobile store. This phone is BEAST. Lightning quick and beautiful display. GPS locks quick.
Also purchased the Body Glove case, very nice case--has an Otterbox feel to it.
I paid full price ($529), didn't want 2 year contract because I dont want to be stuck with AT&T if the merger goes through. Felt it was worth paying extra to have freedom and AT&T would probably offer me a sweet deal to stay (i.e. Nexus Prime).
If you are coming from a Vibrant like I am, you will be very happy with the Hercules

I don't get why people think of selling there SIII for the nexus 4

I don't understand why people will sell there galaxy S III for the nexus 4. Galaxy S III comes with a with micro sd slot, bigger display, better front facing camera, and LTE.
I understand that the LG nexus is a nexus phone and always get update faster, wireless charging, and quad core. But I don't think it still outweighs the SIII. I think the SIII is still superior.
For those people that don't have either phone yes it be more difficult to choose mainly because the Nexus 4 Price is amazing for what it offers. but for those people with SIII how is this even debatable.
Is there something im missing?
much better processor. hspa+ 42meg compatible. no bloatware. possibly a better screen. wireless charging. I think you pretty much answered your own question. lol. not having lte isnt a huge deal breaker for me since I am near wifi almost always. Tradeoff is the 4 will probably have outstanding battery life. 16 gig is enough storage for me.
The fact that the nexus 4 doesn't have lte is a deal breaker for me. I didn't think lte was a huge thing until it finally came to me are, and now there is no way I would ever consider a phone without it.

CPU is a quad core which is nice I agree but most the stuff on android don't utilize it, so its pretty pointless until later. No bloatware, we can already use custom roms or titanium to get rid of it. Not sure what to say about the screen I never seen it personally not going to judge it either. Wireless charging is cool I guess, but I doubt it charges faster then a direct connection. We can toggle off LTE and get pretty amazing battery life with the SIII both devices are both the same size battery. I agree16 gb is enough for me, but I like the fact that the SIII allows us to add more storage if we ever choose to. Maybe its because its new and its over hyped, i must admit at first I was like I want it. But I really thought about it and I realize its not worth it.

LTE is great. Those that say its "not ready for prime time yet" must not have it in their area or haven't tried it yet. I'd love to get the N4 but 21mbps HSPA on ATT in San Diego nets me all of 1mbps down and that's a no go. If its 42 mbps then maybe.

+1 no Lte no way,16gb no where near enough space for me, shoot my 32gb sd card is almost full, no bloat not even an issue can be easily removed with titanium backup, my s3 dual core/2gb ram loads everything just fine, in my opinion I have yet to see another android manufactures phone screen that looks better than the s3, I have a nexus 7 and screen looks washed out compared to my s3, only other phone worth considering selling s3 for right now is the note 2 if you can deal with the size.

3 main reasons I wont switch to a Nexus 4
1- I need 32g minimum
2- Its made by LG
3- Glass on the the back ? WTF ! I hate scratches.
Well it's a quad core.
Nexus line means direct support. First to get updates. Maybe I don't have to flash roms to get better battery life. Stock Android look.
Beautiful design. Cheap price. Don't use lte that much.
Better screen than s3

Lol. First to get updates always makes me laugh. Hours after source is released which is when the nexus line gets their updates I have ROMs released for whatever device I own. So I guess in a way I'm first to get updates too.
1.) Its made by LG. That says enough I would think. I can most here all the complaints a month or two after releases about this not working, this is broken, etc..
2.) Better screen? Not sure how you can state this unless youve personally held the phone in your hand. Spec sheets arent always as they seem . Just remember which company is known for producing the best screens out there.
3.) It really all boils down to personal preference either way. But I'm sure we've all learned that newer isn't always better.
The only reason I'm considering it is because of the price. I would love the freedom of being eligible for an upgrade because att will bend over backwards to keep you. Before I upgraded to the gs3 I was considering moving to Verizon and att pretty much gave me $50 off my bill for the next 6 months and sold me the gs3 for $99.
But without a micro SD card I don't see no need to switch

I'm sure it is a great device, I don't think Google would sully the nexus name with a bad piece of hardware, but the reputation that lg has is not the best in the game.

I'd have to agree with the few that have noted LG - enough said. They have never been the brand I look to for phone tech - Samsung, HTC and Motorola are the only ones to consider.. The few LGs I've used/played with have been less than impressive.
Addition: Google has stated that they are releasing multiple Nexus devices, so if I were to give up my S3, I'd wait for the next Motorola or Samsung device.
I find it silly that people would sell their GS3 for this Nexus 4. No extra storage, no removable battery, no lte, no thanks.
It's great for anyone that doesn't live under LTE coverage and can't get out of their contract/don't want to upgrade and sign another contract.
I also find it funny that these same people who are praising the Nexus 4 are the same ones that knock the iphone (remember when the 4s came out?) Heavy on the fact that it doesn't have a removable battery, no expandable storage and no LTE. All of a sudden it's cool now? Get out of here...
Lg has crappy software support but with this being a nexus that's no longer an issue. Samsung is taking forever just to release 4.1.1 do y'all realistically see Samsung pushing out 4.2 this year? Even then we would wait for att also. There's not doubt that the phone will get this update eventually with cyanogen.
+1 on no chance of getting it because it doesn't have micro sd or removable battery. I could probably handle the battery, but not the lack of micro sd.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I would be willing to go out on a limb and give LG a try for a Nexus device but...no removable SD is a complete deal breaker for me. Cloud storage is not a good substitute for local storage yet. And 8GB or 16GB just isn't cutting it anymore. I hope the SGS4 has a 32 & 64 GB version with removable storage. I love my 50GB dropbox (thank you Samsung) but it just isn't the same as direct attached storage.

Technologically, it is pretty much undeniable that the screen is better. It can't produce as much vibrancy, but it is so much better on color preciseness. I don't notice it that much on my S3, but when I stick it next to a relative's One X it's pretty obvious that the whites aren't white and some other colors are slightly off as well. In day to day use, I don't care. But, seriously... dat screen...

Help me choose my next phone? Please :)

So I'm stumped on what phone to get next and my contract is up for an upgrade in July. Here's the phones I'm looking at in no particular order and why I like them..
Galaxy Nexus
Pros: Pure Google. Gets updated to latest Android version.
Cons: specs aren't as good as the others. It's from Samsung.
Galaxy s4
Pros: Specs are great. Probably will be updated to at least key lime pie.
Cons: I'm not a fan of Samsung. I've had two laptops and I had the original galaxy phone...all of those were terrible.
Galaxy s3
Pros: cheaper now for still a premium phone. Good chance will be updated to key lime pie.
Cons: Samsung. Plus I've watched friends go thru 1 s3 after another with problems.
HTC One
Pros: metal with front speakers and great specs. Sense UI.
Cons: traditionally HTC doesn't update well.
LG optimus g? Don't know much about the phone but the specs are nice.
OR....Do I wait for the next nexus phone to make my decision? Prices on ALL of these phones will have dropped and holiday deals would ne near. I wouldn't mind riding my og EVO just a few more miles before I put him out to stud.
Let me know what you think!

ALSO....
Has anybody ordered off of swappa? That way I wouldn't have to use my upgrade. Maybe get the galaxy nexus off of swappa and wait for holiday deals or even next summer for the latest and greatest phone to come out.
Buying my EVO was a no-brainer...but I'm faced with a tough decision now.

Let me begin by saying that choosing is mainly based on personal preference.
Do you like HTC phones, and/or Sense roms?
Give the HTC One a look. It was new software features, a quad-core processor, and a completely new Sense UI, Sense 5. HTC has optimized the performance of both the phone and the UI. Many elements were removed since the previous version of Sense, Sense 4, and even THAT version was slimmed from Sense 3. The device is both fast and beautiful. Its Quadrant scores are off of the charts. I was able to test Sense 5 on my Evo 4G LTE, and I must say that the new UI definitely makes the most difference in speed. While Quadrants are not the most reliable and consistent test, it resulted in a 2000+ point jump from Sense 4 on my phone, using the stock kernel!!!
Some things to note about the One:
- No removable back, which means a nonremovable battery.
- No SD card slot. Keep that in mind when choosing!!!
What about Samsung?
The GS3 is one of the best Android devices released to date, and many units are still selling. Samsung went all the way with their software features, and each update only adds more. However, some of these same features might prove to be quite annoying. The 2GB of RAM prove to be very helpful with multitasking, and I've never seen the home launcher reload even once.
Some things to note about the GS3/4:
- Removable Back!
- SD Card slot!
- Plastic body (Hit or miss)
Other Contenders...
I don't have much of an opinion about the other contenders like LG, Motorola, Sony, and Nokia, because I have not owned any of the above, neither do I have close friends who own any of those. Keep in mind that Sony is non-existent with Sprint.
iPhone, anyone?
I'm surprised that the name iPhone isn't censored on XDA. But readers, please understand, I am NOT here to knock down any manufacturers or smartphones. Dao needs a new phone, and I'm simply providing advice. Now, let's give credit where credit is due. The iPhone gives one of the most solid, simplistic smartphone experiences that most will ever see. Why else would every new phone be compared to it? But, on the other hand, I find iOS to be too simple and lackluster, and also too restrictive. I prefer the power of choice and customization. But if someone bought it for me, will I use it? Hell yeah! Maybe not for long...but hell yeah!
He didn't mention Nexus?!
Once again, not much experience in this department. However, I do know that Nexus devices are the first to get new software, IF it is one of the latest Nexus devices. But since the updates come directly from Google, there are no manufacturer delays due to a remake of the new UI's. While there might be Service Provider delays, they are much more minimal that the delays of other phones.
Summary:
In short, I end with my opening statement, it's truly up to your personal preference. Dao, be sure to read reviews from different websites, and get different opinions. Look up the pros and cons of each phone, look at videos demonstrating the features, and also research into the global interest of the phone (somewhat indicating continued dev support). If this helped, hit Thanks on the bottom. If you disagree, that's fine with me. Just explain your stance without trolling. Or at least troll with some purpose. Later, guys.

Thank you so much for the review. Although I will need to do a hands on review...I think the HTC One with the metal chassis and quad core (the GS4 has quad core as well) might win out. I don't know how much I care about a removable battery...It's rare that I remove the one on my EVO. I also don't care much about the storage space because I use google for pretty much everything.
Also, the IPhone is a GREAT phone. HOWEVER, I like flashing new roms. So there goes the IPhone.

HTC Evo 4G LTE
I'm going to wait a month or so for a price cut on everything. It's a tough decision since I don't just go and buy phones...I rely on the upgrade.
The nexus brand is appealing because of the updates. Coming from the Hero and now the EVO...I've realized that updates are few and far between with HTC.
I like sense UI...but also like the stock feel and miui. The One would let me (if the devs keep up) have more options.
The features of the gs4 are cool...Samsung is good for that.
Honestly, I don't think I can make a "bad" choice here.

I agree, there is no bad choice. However, there are choices that make you second guess every day. But, as long as you know what you want, don't let this trouble you. Sometimes I wonder if I should've gotten the Gs3, but when I truly think about it, the new Evo was truly the phone for me.
Also, I knew everything about the Evo when it was delayed on April and finally released in May. I knew the specs by heart. I watched soooooo many videos that it is unbelievable. But I waited until the price dropped, and until I had the money. I didn't get mine until November (My upgrade was eligible since July). No need to rush. That's all I'm saying.

I just played with the One. Wow. I've never been so impressed with a phone.
Build quality is amazing and the speakers on the front make a world of difference.
Thank you all for your help!!

I didn't like Samsung as much either, but I got the s3. I'm only on my second one and it wasn't anyones fault it messed up, some products are faulty of course. This one has been perfect and with no screen protector for months, of had no scratches. I still prefer a protector, but it is your choice. The phone itself is awesome! I still prefer HTC sense, but I would rather have an SD card slot more. Touchwiz is okay, not as bad as people claim, but it isn't the best. I have cm10 on here and it is awesome! Love the phone! Just my 2 cents.

Samsung is good but, at least with my EVO, I always come back to Sense.
I think having sense and the option of cm is the way for me. The sound and feel of the One is phenomenal.

But man, with 7 gigs of music and 3 gigs of pictures/video, that extended sdcard is handy. still got 10 gig free of internal memory on my s3

Was not really a fan of Samsung till I got the S3. Man has my opinion changed. The device is a flat out beast. Plus the removable battery, and SD Card slot seal the deal for me. I flash a lot of roms. So having a removable battery is a big thing for me.

All very good points. However, when I stream from Pandora and Google Music I don't have a use for a large SD Card.
You can't argue with sales numbers....The s3 is GREAT and so is the s4. I bought a few Samsung laptops this year and have a bad taste in my mouth. Build quality is left wanting.

Honestly, I have had no case on my s3 and I've dropped it a bunch of times and it had not cracked yet. My friends weren't so lucky. Build quality is pretty good to me.. but that's an opinion.

I just think that the HTC One felt "better".

Define "works" better. Same processor but clocked slightly higher. The numbers are better on the gs4 (I dk about the 3), but not THAT much better.
25 gb of "usable" space (according to reports on the net) is more than enough for my needs.
For me, when you combine the look and feel with arguably the best speakers ever in a phone, you get a better overall experience.
In my absolutely humble opinion.

Omg I love this phone!!!

I just wanted to make a post and express how much I love this phone! I can't believe Samsung really came through and completely hit it out of the park! TouchWiz is much lighter and doesn't hiccup and stutter like it did in the past. If anybody is worried about the lack of SD card and removable battery don't be. This phone is fantastic!
64gb's of sexy!!
Sexy as hell

Looking great ! I'm waiting for silver titan version!
TouchWiz isn't lighter lol, it's the extra ram making it fly. Either way I'm happy that they addressed it at least and the phone is blazing out the box in Stock form.
This is the first time that I feel no need for 3rd party launcher on a SS phone! :good:

Well they did trim a lot of fat from TouchWiz and it doesn't come with as many pre-installed apps and gimmicky TouchWiz features.

There's still 1.8 gigs on the system so not a ton of trimming, stock Android comes with about 500 mb on the system.
Either way it's still less than it was before....
Yes. I have a spigen case on and already too sexy.

This phone is amazing. I switched from an iPhone. This phone has it beat. I was considering the note 5 fit the a pen but I'll pass. I may switch it for 64gb

Aesthetically, this is the most beautiful phone I have ever owned. (S1, gNexus, S4, S5, note edge) It cost less than the note edge I turned in to upgrade to this phone.
The gold platinum was just so stunning. I'd have to see the titanium silver in person to decide, but it's not a option on my carrier. Between the gold platinum s6e+ or either white or black note 5, the choice was clear for me.
Such a large yet manageable size, with the bezel-less illusion of a stunning screen. Theme store + nova launcher prime makes me ALMOST not want to root it when available. With my s view case on it's way, I'll be happy with this phone till the s7 comes out.

Mine had 23.7gb available when I hooked it up to my computer after I got it.
I'm loving mine as well, rockin the 64gb version in black sapphire. Using a clear back case so I can see the color. I was a note user since the note2 but decided that I don't use the s-pen enough or hardly at all to get the note 5. This phone is basically a note 5 but no s-pen. But r he edge+ looks and feels better. The no removable battery isn't much of an issue the no SD card is kind of but not really there's always OTG storage. Loving it so far.

We must be twins same back story as me about s-pen and having all the notes from 2 till now. This phone is the most amazing phone I've ever used doesn't even urk me that it's not rooted. I haven't been able to run stock on a phone in years but the game has changed!
I bought the International unlocked Titaninium Silver from ebay (never-msrp) and the phone is really stunning!!
32GB device : Free GB =23GB.
4GB Ram : Used Ram = 1.8 GB (2.2 GB Free).
Touchwiz is very beautiful and I didn't see much lag(there is very small though) compared to previous version.
I am getting 5 hours of battery life with 11% still remaining without turning on Power or Ultra Power Saving features.
When I used Samsung Application Manager App to clean the device whenever i use it I got 3 hr 4 min screen time with 66 % still remaining and i have GPS and Bluetooth both turned On.
Split screen feature ,peer view feature, Samsung Music player(sound quality) and as mentioned above Samsung Application manager are really awesome.
Its an Apple eater

Worth Upgrading from Note 5 to Note 7

Want to know if it is worth upgrading from the note 5 to note 7? If so Why??
In my opinion it's not worth it.. Almost same design. I think the battery will not be better too. The only pro thing is that the note 7 is waterproof.

Yes.
Edge screen looks nice and futuristic and clearly is the way to go for Samsung flagships moving forward.
Waterpoof.
Much better cameras.
Easier to hold one-handed.
Design so much better, very compact for a 5.7" screen phone.
Better battery.
USB type C.
Iris scanner not needed but still cool.
Micro SD card support with the possibility of using it as adoptable storage.
Only downside is it's expensive.
edit:
Forgot to mention that you can also set the screen to 1080p to save substantial battery life if you can't really see the difference between it and 4k. You can even set to 720p if you want.
I feel like the note 5 and S6 were a step in the right direction design wise, and still have great features when it comes to the hardware. If you don't plan on getting your phone wet and have enough internal storage then I wouldn't upgrade. If you like to store a lot on your phone that's the only reason I would upgrade if I were you. Otherwise the camera is still top of the line, the fingerprint scanner is fast& secure, and the phone still has the premium look and feel.
Yes for the sd card slot if nothing else.

I will buy (as n5 battery is its weakest feature) but depending on what the v20 delivers I may well sell it soon after!

4k? I thought it was 1440! But anyway imo it's not worth it at all. What do you gain? Do you have a problem with note 5? If it's performance related note 7 is likely the same or if it's thr purple smudge

Yes, what I meant was 2k, not 4k, lol.
No purple smudge on my Note5. No real problem with Note5 except the very limited 32gb storage, which I obviously knew about before buying. I thought it was going to be enough, I was wrong.

I actually made a thread although now i regret it because I thought the phone is released but it seems it's still not out yet! But they said the same thing about note 4 and ot does have it. Are you sure? Have you checked in gallery? Maybe the picture you check is bright! How about lag or delays. When you compare it next to a nexus or an iPhone.is it smooth?

Yea my pretty sure my Note5 doesn't have that issue.
About lag, are you asking about the Note7? With my brief time with it in the store, I can say there aren't any lags but of course it may be different when we're actually using it as our own.
To put it in perspective, what motivation will Nexus 6P owners have to upgrade to the 2016 version? It'll have generationally better h/w but what else? Especially considering the OS is/was/will be the same on both devices. Hardware and software has matured so the generational differences between devices get smaller each year. Unless you're a big gamer what apps are going to be noticeably faster between Exynos 7420 and 8890 or Snapdragon 810 and 820? If you want a Note7 and feel like spending the money, get it. If not I'm guessing 90% of what you do on your phone would perform just as well on a Note5. I've personally given up on rationalizing getting a new phone every year. I just chalk it up to a whim because I like the latest and greatest.

Me also.
Nothing to rationize really, if I want a new device i buy one its not like I need to make a list of pluses and minuses or try to justify it..thats ridiculous its a phone not a car. Not a really major expense lol.
In this particular case though for me going from note 5 i do really want the SD support the 7 offers.

I gave up on the note 5 along time ago mainly because of the poor battery life, I went to the s7e and battery is much better. I really like the s7e but will be getting a note 7 as soon as it's out to test the loser will be the back up phone

Thats due to the water resistance likely, which for myself is pointless as i am not stupid enough to use my device in a wet enviroment.
I would much rather ditch that and have far better audio quality. Personal preference of course and others seem to find the water resistance important
If the audio is that bad it would be a deal breaker for me and i will send it back.

This sort of question is THE most common on all forum brands. The answer is yes and no. In other words some will upgrade while others are still happily using the note 1. It is a very personal issue and one only you can answer.
Let us know what you decide?
