Dear friends,
Actually I have no information about HTC ONE M8 EYE.
I would know that does this phone roms and kernels are similar to original HTC ONE M8?
And does this phone gets updates as the original one or its different?
Describe completely please or give me a relevant link.
Thanks for your guide.

M8 Eye ROMs are hard to come by. I'm not even sure if there are any available here. You might be able to find one on XDA India or XDA China.
I would recommend getting the regular M8 if you plan on rooting and flashing.
Thanks

Seeing all the negative posts, am I making the right move? Is the Galaxy S3 really going to be that much better?
Would anyone recommend rooting the One X and using Cyanogen from the start?
I don't think that it will be much better than the One X.I've read enough forums and i saw that the SII had his share of problems when it was launched,so,i don't think that the SIII won't have any problems.
This phone does not have any issues, that stop it from working. I made the same move from desire to one x (my desire was on the verge of self destruct) and love it. I dont think the SIII will be necessarily any better, I have also found htc devices have a great bunch of devs working on them. Therefore those guys can fix most of any software issues

Yeah, most of them are software issues which can be fixed,if not by HTC by the awsome dev's that are here on XDA.
Well, I'm glad I made the switch to the HTC One X. It rules!
I saw this posted on MoDaCo, the HTC One switching between Sense and Google Edition with no loss of data..
With all of out great devs this should be possible for our phone since it's better than the HTC One.

I love my s4, but honestly Dev support has always been greater on every one of my other HTC devices... Thats the only thing I miss.
Hi, I found a post on Fb that shows a image on HTC releasing and teaching its users regarding on how to update our HOX to pure AOSP.

Sorry to burst your bubble but this isn't by HTC is on ibt website also it is for hox+ by llori if I'm not mistaken, all htc say in the article is that they have no plans so far to update HOX at the present time.

Honestly I don't have any hopes for it and I have quite a few doubts regarding it and all i wanted to ask was for a clarification if anyone was able to find any info regarding this issue or not

There is hope for aosp if anyone has time to build it for hox but as for htc updating it could happen as i think Google want as many handsets updating to 4.4 as possible but the decision will be HTC only.

We will all know the truth when the times come if HTC decides to release a pure AOSP 4.4 for us but we just have to manually do it ourselves. Doubt I would go for it since I didn't had a good time with the AOSP rom floating around in the forums
It's for the one x+, showed up on my BlinkFeed today.

uuumm, guys i just find this i didnt try so...i dont know if this works
it is called rumrunner and according to info it works with Htc One X, One, Max, and more....
http://rumrunner.us/instructions/
http://rumrunner.us/downloads-2/
I dont see any restrictions mentioned about that... if i read fully
After careful consideration and some testing, we’ve decided to release a more “universal” version of rumrunner. This version will work on multiple htc devices, so many we can’t possibly test them all. Which devices? Well….
HTC One
HTC One X/XL
HTC One Max
HTC One Mini
HTC One S (s3 and s4 models)
HTC Evo 4G LTE
HTC First
HTC Butterfly
HTC Butterfly S
Probably others. In fact, this should work with nearly every modern Qualcomm based HTC device. Yep, you read that correctly.
thats whats mentioned on the download page .. does this work ??

Plase move the thread in GENERAL
This won't work for tegra devices lol read carefully somewhere there is written that's only for the snapdrsgon devices

Hmm.. sounds interesting but I forgot why we need S-Off.
Anyone with spare HOX wants to give it a try. Read some posts that people had success
with AT&T One X but nothing about international(tegra 3) or may be no one tried with these devices.
I had a through read but couldn't find anything specific about chipset except Qualcomm.
Anyone up for a test?
Update: Will go into their irc channel and ask around, hopefully they'll tell me something.
Yeah, as expected - this doesn't work.

This will NOT work on this tegra one x.
We know because it's tested on this hox.....4 posts above you
At least compared to other M8 forums?
Idk, but maybe because we can use international Roms?

Yeah I know but, the AT&T variant can too and they seem way bigger
Most devs , BadSeed included are just waiting for official updates to drop and then it will pick up . Also most devs are making roms universal so they can be adjusted in aroma , and posting in international threads . But rest assured devs are here .. .
^^ Yeah I've been getting all my roms and mods from the regular HTC M8 forums from the start. There's plenty of activity...I think there's just not a lot specific to TMo because there doesn't need to be since we can use all the other stuff anyways.
I love my m8 but it's now my backup device, so many newer phones it kinda screwed m8.
