NOTICE: I do not have this device model, nor have I tested the ROM, I'm only telling you where to find it.
This is the "open" I9000B Froyo release also available on KIES (for some)
Chainfire,
Any idea when 2.2.1 for Holland will arrive?
No idea. AFAIK 2.2.1 has only been rolled out in the UK, may well be the rest of the world will skip 2.2.1 and go directly to 2.3. (officially... of course you can always flash JPY yourself )

Well I am allready running JPY with XENJP2, was just wondering.
Funciona muy bien ^^
Hi friends...
Ok. I flash my i9000b with this ROM and it really seems to be an open version 2.2 Froyo.
It works perfectly well for me (I flashed using odin3) and all features, including GPS and Brazillian Digital TV are working perfectly. (and all my programs and contacts remain installed)... nothing was deleted!
Another thing I missed is the "Energy Save Icon"... that one that is like a battery icon, that enables you to turn 3G on/off.
One thing I noticed is that this ROM came with that Gameloft games launcher... I have to remove it myselft.
I gained root access using OneClickRoot tool (using international version with Brazillian version of the phone) and after a few seconds... I got it rooted.
I just remove this annoing apps and get it unrooted again using the same method.
Thanks again Chainfire!
Root ? para esta ROM?
Yes... You can use an app called "SuperoneClick" and patch Brazillian I9000b using International version. I already tested it, and it works!
It works, Thanks.
Hi gravehero,
Did you have to install the program for TV or the ROM comes with it?
Thanks and regards,
Elvis
I flashed it on my i9000b and it works seamlessly and fast.
Even playing music over bluetooth, which used to chop a little, goes smooth with JPD_VJ_ZTO.
rooted and no lagfixes installed btw.
Hi Elvis...
The TV program comes installed by default. You don't need to install it later!
Phone/csc/.pit
Hello Guys,
Where can I find the PHONE, CSC and .PIT files of this Firmware?
Thx!
Sorry, it's "in" the firmware file...
How to flash?
Hi Guys!
Which software are you using to flash this new ROM to the phone (I9000B)? Can I use Kies to do that?
Thanks in advance
Hello everyone,
I've modded the Ziggo TV app to disable the root checker.
There have been some workarounds such as hiding root in the SuperSU app etc., only this doesn't work with custom firmware like the newest CM10.1 and 10.2.
By disabling the root checker in this APK it's now possible to use it on all modified firmware.
This way everybody who is using a custom rom is now able to watch Ziggo TV when they have a Ziggo tv/internet abbonnement.
The file version is 3.11 so it's the latest available update from Ziggo.
At the moment I've tested it at a GT-I9001 phone, but i'm pretty sure it will work for other phones as well.
My advice for those people is just test it and report back please.
If problems occur I'll try tot fix those for you. Also when screenshots are wanted i'll be happy to post them for you.
The download link is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/aqsc14m3uvjla25/Ziggo%20TV.apk
If somebody is interested in the steps I took to modify the app, just let me know and I'll make a tutorial.

Works perfect on Slimrom and CM10.2! great job

I can always look into this, but I can't promise anything.
At the moment I don't know how the app verifies this, if the check is server side it will be difficult to get around.

Using it on HTC One, HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P7510).
All working perfectly. Thanks!

Muchos Gracias :good:
The original app does not work on the Galaxy Mega. It gives the message that the rom is not original or rooted, while it is not.
I was hoping this modded version was a solution. Unfortunately not.
Any chance we can get this working on a Galaxy Mega?
How did you mod this apk? I decompiled it but have no clue where to look....
Trying the app on Sony NSZ-GS7
I'm trying to start the app on a Google TV, the Sony NSZ-GS7.
The error that I get is in Dutch:
"
Helaas!
De app Ziggo TV (proces nl.ziggo.android.tv) is onverwachts gestopt.
Probeer het opnieuw.
"
(the app stopped unexpectedly)
Does someone know what I can do to make it work?
Thank you very much!

Thanks,
This didn't work for my MStar GoogleTV based projector. Tried the rooted and unrooted firmware of the system, both failed to play live TV.
Expected this one to work, but it failed as well. Are there any other checks that could be removed? (Just remove ALL checks)
I would like more info on how to modify any updates myself.
Thanks,
Allegro16
Thx!
Tested today on my rooted stock firmware galaxy s3 i9300, and it worked - as only one
So yeah, thank you!
And everybody loves to read about how to patch apps... I guess ; -)
Oh, according to http://www.appbrain.com/app/ziggo-tv/nl.ziggo.android.tv#descriptionsection , version Ziggo TV 3.2 is out too?
... Peace!

Didn't work in the end..
Hi,
I was expecting the modded version to work on my Android projector, because it ran fine on all my other devices (both rooted and unrooted)
Any other checks that could/should be removed?
Thanks,
Allegro16.
P.S: Working great on a rooted HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S3, etc. But not on this..
EDIT: Ziggo just got back to me, if it's not already supported i'm out of luck. They only support the big brands, HTC, Samsung, etc. No small Android boxes will be officially supported, only: "Helaas is de Ziggo TV App alleen beschikbaar voor iPad, iPad mini, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, Iphone 4s, iPhone 5, iPod Touch, Android smartphones en tablets. Op andere apparaten zal het dan ook niet werken. Excuses voor de teleurstelling."
"Unfortunately the Ziggo TV App is only available for iPad, iPad mini, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, Iphone 4s, iPhone 5, iPod Touch, Android smartphones and tablets. As such, it will not work on other devices. Sorry for the dissapointment."
I already tried renaming the device in the app itself to no avail.. Is there any way the OP could mod the app further? So it doesn't check which device it runs of?
Especially if you could tell us how it's done. Then i'm sure a working version could always be updated..
A quick compare (unpacking the Apk's as zip) showed the modded version is larger as the Original, especially classes.dex that lists"rooted_device_found_message !rooted_device_found_message_title"
Is that the difference? How to mod to work on all devices?
PsychoGame:
Any news or updates? I finally magaged to mod a version that installed, but it failed to show live TV as well..
Which file/part of the APK did you mod and with which tools? Tried replacing the Galaxy S3/GalaxyS3 references in classes.dex with MStar Google TV/MStarGoogleTV, but while it installed, no luck..
Any news/hints are appreciated!

The best ROM is the one you like. I know you said 4.4.2, but you might want to consider going to a Lollipop ROM. I've been using AryaMod from over in the international Note 3 forum, and it is awesome. Best ROM i've used for the Note 3. It's a Note 4 port, very stable, and is very customizable. Plus, the development is very fast with that ROM. Take a look for yourself.

Yes, it was a little confusing at first. Here's what I did to get it working.
1. I used this thread to upgrade to NK3 baseband and then root it via Odin.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...-to-root-nf4-knox-0x0-effortless-nf4-t2846142
2. Then I downloaded TWRP Manager from the Play store and installed TWRP 2.8.4.0
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmz.soft.twrpmanager
3. Next, I did a full wipe/data factory reset, then flashed AryaMod
forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58582992&postcount=2034
4. Finally, I rebooted and flashed v2 of the wifi fix here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/themes-apps/wifi-bluetooth-fix-s5-ported-roms-t2938607
That should get you up and running. Enjoy.

From your usage, can you tell us what is working and what is not beside the NFC?
Well...from my experience everything is working. Wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc. I haven't had any fc on anything, and all of the s-pen features work as they should. I haven't dug down and played with all of the settings yet though. There are some advanced settings that I'd like to play with. My speeds on T-Mobile are fantastic, but I don't think that is the ROM.

Hi Techngro,
I think you are on the lollipop rom for couple of days. I am planning to install the AryaMod V2.0 on my stock rom, are there any issues you encountered or any FC. The latest AryaModV3.1 has been released, is it better to install the V2.0 or go with V3.1. Any suggestions.

I haven't flashed the 3.1 ROM yet because I like to wait a while and see if there are any issues with new updates. There have been some reports of some problems, but you can never know whether that is actually the ROM, or just user error (didn't wipe properly, dirty flash, etc.).
My suggestion to you is, since you're going to flash anyway, flash the latest update first (3.1), and see if it works for you. If you have any problems then you can flash 2.0.

Dude, you are using a T-Mobile Note 3 (based on your signature)...
There is simply no ROM that compares to Tweaked ROM. 100% fully functional and tons of customization options.
Some have recommended you move to a Lollipop ROM... Since your statement is avoiding bugs, issues, etc, I would avoid following that bad advice, since every single one of them will be a port, and none of them will have working NFC, and you are bound to not be satisfied. I can't for the life of me understand why people pay 700 bucks for a handheld computer, then ruin it's functionality and strip the cool software and features from it that they paid tons of money for... but to each his own I guess.
Like I said, based on your post, you are best off with Tweaked ROM by dwitherell. I don't know the guy but dang he seems to know his stuff, and does all of his work solo. I've been using his ROMs since I got my Note 2. Won't touch anything else.

can confirm 3.1 works. I tried it out since i like to see what each rom offers and so far havent encountered no bugs and the battery life is amazing. Glad i read into this.
Best ROM out there is the ROM that doesn't mess up your phone, everything works, get and receive all your calls and messages, take great pics, with super battery life. No f/c's ,no freeze, no black unresponsive screen, no incompatible apps.
It's called .................... Stock/rooted/debloated ROM.

Thank You

OK, I haven't seen this discussed too much here but the issue is with Netflix on marshmallows roms. Does anyone know of a MM rom that has Netflix working? Specifically for D851. I really like the features of MM, but can't get Netflix to work with any of them. There are downloadable apk's of Netflix by TeamBlackout. These are black and transparent versions. I could get to the login screen with these but nothing else. Eventually with all versions including official I get the -9 error. I read in a thread for a different phone that they change the build prop and or delete a certain file to get it to work. The reason I am asking is because the D851 is for T-Mobile and as you know Netflix is part of the BingeOn deal where it doesn't use any data.
*****Edit: There is a working patch. Scroll down for the link.*****

I've had the sane problem and I get a (0000) error. I've tried pretty much every marshmallow ROM from her and the international forum but none of them have Netflix working. And apparently the (0000) error isnt a true error code as a Google search returned back negative. I would love a fix to this
I know that is the only thing stopping me from using a marshmallow rom.
I got here from the candy6 thread. I'm currently running resurrection remix marshmallow and just tried Netflix. Logged right in thru smart lock and started a few vids no problem. Unfortunately for you guys its a ls990 build, but maybe someone could figure out what's got it working there?

Yeah it seems now that the devs got word of it and have possible fixes in the works. I know Bliss and Revolution MM should have Updated builds tomorrow.

Works on lg g3 (vs985) as well. Thanks!
Had the same problem on my D855, fixed it by only going to System/Vendor/Lib and deleting the file Liboemcrypto.so and then rebooting.
Now it works like a charm.
Awesome! Working for me now. I changed my ROM (not for this Netflix issue though), but just so anyone reading this knows what I'm running.
Bliss Pop ROM version 6.
Android 6.0.1.
Netflix app version 4.1.0 build 5588.
First I deleted the file "liboemcrypto.so" from "system/vendor/lib" as suggested by rrfslow above. I didn't see any change in the app's behaviour. So I uninstalled it, re-installed it, and still nothing. Maybe I wasn't patient though, cos I decided to go the "flash ZIP file" route as soon as I didn't see any improvement. So I flashed it, noticed a new boot screen before the Bliss Pop one, tried Netflix, and tada! It's working! So happy! thanks to whoever did this!
I can confirm updating Netflix thru the Play Store after applying the fix does NOT break Netflix. Good times!

Hey there, I have this problem. I see others had it as well but I could not find any clear/reliable instructions in those threads. Currently I can interact with my phone only through an USB mouse.
Because I'd like to remain on the official update channel, is there any way to do it?
Otherwise, if I have to flash another ROM, where can I find a reliable (original?) Nougat image, and how do I prevent bricking? (I flashed other ROMs in the past and have some knowledge of the process, but it was always cyanogenmod/lineageos. This time I think I might brick something with the downgrade).
Thank you very much in advance!

I'm working on ParallelScreens Kernel for Oreo ARM and ARM64, wait a few days (OTA might not work afterwards though) and then flash it through TWRP.

Wonderful! Meanwhile thanks to Gabriel @montanalabtesters I installed a 9.0–based ROM with ParallelScreens Depending on how it performs I might roll back to stock 8.1 with your kernel once it's out

Yep, I'm working on it. Maybe I'll do it the day after tomorrow, I'm not sure yet.

Any updates on this @JarlPenguin? I also have the same problem, tried downgrading to Nougat, a few custom roms, but still, the screen stops working after a while.

It's fixed on all up to date Pie ROMs and LineageOS 15.1.
