Is there a way to use Go SMS Pro on a Tab S that is Wifi only? I really like this app. I have texttab to sync my tablet with my phone with blue tooth. When I try to send a text message in Go SMS Pro the text input area is greyed out. The app saids to make Go SMS Pro the default app in settings of the Tab S for extended features(don't know if this would help), but in Settings->Application there are no settings for texts(since this is wi-fi).

I'm using GO SMS PRO with the emoji pack on my unrooted GNex.
Just now, I started getting this popup after each text I send:
"GO SMS Emoji Plugin is sending a large number of SMS messages. Do you want to allow this app to continue sending messages? Allow/Deny"
I have to select Allow every time I try t send a message... Very frustrating. Not sure what's going on... Anyone seen this before?

I recently installed Go SMS pro and used it for 2 days but uninstalled it for some reason. I had made 1 contact private in Go sms pro.
Now since i have uninstalled the app and if i sent text to the said contact, the stock sms app says "enter valid recipient to send mesage". stock sms app cannot find the contact. whereas, the contact is already visible if i go check it mannually.
Help me how to resolve this issue.... I just hate Go SMS Pro even more for this BS....
So as with the Note 3 the Note 4 follows the trend when receiving a text message the screen automatically comes on. This can be very annoying and dangerous when the phone is in my pocket. I was able to get around this with my Note 3 only after root and without root using GO SMS Pro which had the feature to turn that setting off. Now Go SMS Pro has updated their android app and it sucks... less than half the customization options and off coarse no option to fix the screen coming on. So what have you guys done to get around this or is there a fix?
Try handcent. Similar to the way go SMS pro used to be.

Try the app "Textra" for text messages. It's excellent and has options for waking the device or not.
Note came with Verizon text message called Message+, use this and you shouldn't have any issue.
Tried handcet and the private box feature doesnt work. the text messages still show up in regular inbox. the verizon+ doesnt have a private box so thats a deal breaker.

well you started this thread with screen turn on when receiving text, so we provide you with text apps that not turn on screen, now you dig more into feature of the text app, I suggest you should go into playstore and see what's fit your needs.
Hopefully someone can help me. I accidentally deleted a text off my phone and with my Galaxy Note 2 I was able to go into the contact and slick on History and it show the most recent however I can't find that option on my Note 4. Is there an option and I'm just not seeing it?

I had a note 2 too and don't remember ever having that option. Why not just use hangouts and save the texts remotely from now on?
Download the vzw message+ app...it pulls text history from the cloud it restored text from months ago when I frisg got my note ...i m currently using textra myself which doesn't do the cloud thing but try the vze message + it may help.
On Verizon you can go to the web site and log in and go to text. They keep all the texts.
On the Note 4 in Samsung messanger you can try, go to menu / settings / restore messages
What is the best application to hide text messages and phone logs automatically. I was using NQ Vault, but it does not work with Lollipop at the moment.
