Ever since LP I can't seem to disable the scanner. It's a pain most of the time and I want to go back to the swipe! Anyone having the same problem?
Fred
I don't have that problem. I would suggest a factory reset
Factory reset did the trick!!
Thanks for the tip!

Hi,
My Desire's screen rotates perfectly when I rotate the phone from portrait to landscape, with the buttons facing to the right.
However, when I then rotate phone back to portrait, the screen doesn't rotate itself. If I go back to the home screen and launch the app again it displays in portrait mode. This occurs in all applications I've tried (Internet browser, Maps, Mail). I've recalibrated the g-sensor numerous times but this doesn't help.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thanks,
Noggin
Unfortunatly (for you) Mine is fine, Looks like it is an isloated incident
Have you Hard Reset your Phone? Might reset the G-Sensor Fully. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Just wanted to post back that killyouridols suggestion of a hard reset solved my problem. Many thanks for the help.

This has happened again and I'm loathe to do another hardware reset. Has anyone else had similar problems?
Hi,
I have the same problem, except it won't rotate from portrait to landscape. Did a factory reset which worked, re installed all previous apps, rotate still worked fine. Battery ran out and turned itself off, charged it overnight, turned it on this morning, and the rotate problem is back, ie no rotation.
Will do another factory reset, but this time I'll be selective over the apps I reinstall in case it has anything to do with one of those - what do you think? Could it be a software issue relating to an app???

Restore to factory default. Make sure you back up contacts to sim and any apps (sign up to AppBrain and sync) etc
Hi, I have the same issue. It started after I calibrated.
I have to shake the device for it to return to portrait mode.
Is this normal?
Fixed mine

Hi,
So I got my G Pad a little over a month ago and it was great. Now I've noticed that there's a delay between me pressing an on screen button and the option lighting up as confirmation that I've touched.
Can anyone help me fix it?

Hello..
If your tablet is still stock, I would do a Factory Reset.. BE AWARE if you choose to do that, you will ERASE EVERYTHING on your tablet.. And it will be as stock as it was when you took it out of the box.
If your tablet is rooted, you can create a backup of whatever ROM you are currently running and either reinstall it or try a different ROM to see how your tablet acts.
I don't think doing a simple Cache/Delvik wipe will resolve anything ( If you are rooted ).. it seems like you may just be out of memory/storage which will sometimes cause a device to lag when making inputs. The only other thing I can think of is, you recently installed an app that is really hogging resources and dragging your tablet down..
Be sure to come back and post your results based on what options you attempt to resolve this.. I'm curious to know what happens.
Thanks I'll try the factory reset
:good:
So I did a factory reset and it didn't make a difference I'm gonna deselect the option to restore everything to my tablet and see if that helps
Hey everyone. I recently got my watch. Came with 5.1.1 and no issues. After updating to 6.0.1 my watch has a mind of its own. Keeps moving pages up and down and going back and forth without touching the screen. Anyone know a solution or has a similar problem? Already tried factory reset.

Same here. Sometimes it triggers gesture when I'm scrolling through a gmail text and it's quite annoying.
I turned gestures off which works better for me.
Ok, so i'm not the only one with this issue. Is it a software bug that might get a fix or an issue with hardware?

Most likely a software issue.
My recent apps soft key is misbehaving.
Everytime i hit the recent apps button, my HTC 10 opens up the multi tasking screen rather than the previous apps screen. I was able to intermittently fix the issue by restarting the phone but that doesn't seem to be working anymore.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this ****ty problem?

Try to do a factory reset and restore your phone's initial settings and the issue should be fixed.
thank you

Don't bother unless you have odd issues.
I didn't do the reset and it's not bothering me
The only odd odd ones are:
In locked mode the screen is unreppensive to the touch, sometimes
Some apps won't close even after an uninstall/reinstall
Every weird issue I had before the factory reset is there afterwards (random UI freezes, weather and alarm disappearing from Ambient Display, etc). I wouldn't waste the time.
Thanks to all! I'll leave well enough alone.
