Delete the folder com.facebook.katana and Internal sdcard and now update facebook.
This will do it
I had deleted all files which had facebook in name but nevermind because I found solution:
Reboot phone to TWRP, then go to Advanced > Fix Permissions. Admittedly I had some error exactly about "/data/data/com.facebook(...)" and TWRP show "Fix Permissions Failed" but facebook app works fine finally
BTW thats pure chance, because I did that for solve "System UID Inconsistent" error on boot (which also has disappeared)

Hey Guys,
I need your help. Long time ago I installed winamp 1.2.9 on my device but yesterday I've noticed that there is no shortcut listed to start the App.
So I tried to figure out why. I tried to install the apk file again but it fails telling Install not being successful.
I tried the newer version of Winamp on the Market but again install fails telling Not Compatible update!
I tried to locate the Winamp Files in System Folder an deleted them successfully. But again the same problem.
Tried to wipe cache and dalvik --> Boot loop
Is there a way to clean deinstall the App manually in order to re install the new version?
Using Kindle Stock ROm ver. 6.3.1 rooted
Thank you so much in advance

part of the problem may lie in the fact that your using rooted stock dunno? have you tried something like root uninstaller pro? to remove the app also I hate to say this to everyone as a fix sometimes it does work out for the better truthfully I have never see it not but you can flash modaco found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1439916 right over your existing system without wiping that might clear up any chances of permission issues as far as removing an app. As far as updating an app just because it shows available doesnt mean that it is for your device compatibility issues are usually that way for a reason maybe it doesnt like gingerbread?? but there is another option you could always just sideload it instead and see if it takes and functions correctly good luck
I have provided my dropbox link to you in a pm give it a shot doesn`t mean that the icon will show in your apps though
I recently removed knox and rooted my phone following the guide. Worked great... I got into my phone with CM10, except for a constant "There was a problem communicating with google servers. Try again later." error message. I thought it was a bad wipe, so I rewiped and reflashed the ROM. No joy. I did a full factory reset from the menu. No joy.
Searching on Google and XDA yielded a lot of messages about the Google servers going down a few years ago. Obviously this wasn't the case. Finally, I found something that worked:
Disabled 2-step Authentication (mostly to make it easier on myself)
Removed the account
Cleared the data on the "Google Account Manager"
Readded said account
This worked for me. I'm on CM10.2.1-dspr (stable).
It worked! I reflashed rom and did a lot of things but removing the 2-step verification worked! I love you man! Thx.

I've looked through the other threads on this issue, and I've not found an answer that seems to apply to me.
I've just installed the latest version of TWRP (2.8.5.0) and the latest version of CyanogenMod, and now I get an incessantly recurring message that "Unfortunately, Google Play has stopped."
I've cleared the data. I've cleared the cache. I've uninstalled updates for Google apps. None of those fixes have worked.
I've done a factory reset, which makes the problem go away initially, but as I try to download apps, I get through maybe one or two, and it comes back.
Help?

I've gotten a similar problem but with Viper Rom 4.3.0 and instead it happens with almost every Google related app and a lot more other apps that I use.
I think I MIGHT have this fixed. At least, I've been able to install multiple apps, so far, without this issue recurring.
I Booted into Recovery (TWRP) > Wipe > Advance Wipe
In Adanced Wipe, I selected the following partitions:
Dalvik Cache
Cache
System
Data
I let that do it's thing, then I reimaged CyanogenMod, I reimaged Google Apps, and I reimaged the SuperSU binaries.
I booted back into the system, and ... so far, so good. Hope it stays that way.

Hello,
I found a tutorial on how to install the google playstore on the Nubia Z17. It's to long to repeat it here. Anyway for me it worked. I first unlocked bootloader, then I installed the official ROM V2.44 and Open Gapps. After that playstore works until you reboot. To get it working there is a small workaround that takes only 1-2 Minutes and includes activating the airplane mode. Unfortunatly you have to do it every time you reboot your device. The good news is that the Google Playstore finally works. You can find the tutorial here:
https://www.china-phone.net/nubia-z17-playstore.html
Hope this helps other Nubia Z17 Users too

My phone is working normal.
1. Reinstall the original ROM 2.44
2. Unlock bootloader and install TWRP
3. Root the phone
5. Install Open Gapps Arm64 7.1 Full
6. The phone restart and do the Factory Reset
7. Open Google Play and insert your Google account. It will take several minutes for Google to work.
8. Press the circle-home button to start multi task. Pull down the Google Play until you see 'lock icon'.
9. You're done
Note: when your Google stop working, just go to Flight Mode for 1-2 minute and try to authenticate again.
Always keep your Google running by lock it on multi tasking.

Some aspects of Google apps still have bugs. For me, Google Calendar doesn't work and Photos doesn't sync. For full function we'll just have to be patient (or try a custom ROM maybe)

I tried today and i found that after updating to 2.48 we should do clean install after unlock botloader, root and installing gapps. If not the google play wont be working properly.

Hi,
Yes I'm a newbie... We have to begin one day
I just received the phone.
After the first power on (plugged) and Wifi connection, the phone automatically did two updates :
original (2.39 ?) to 2.44
2.44 to 2.48.
When I bought the phone, it was mentioned that gaps are not available at that moment (GeekBuying)
Now, they do not mention this limitation on their web site (and the price goes lower )
Is there a new "international complete official ROM ?"
Thanks
Regards
When installing some of the apps like IFTTT,adapticons and greenify(the most imp. app for this phone ) the phone starts rebooting and stuck on the boot image the only solution i could find is either formatting phone or deleting app data from file manager with the help of TWRP.The phone starts rebooting when the app just finished downloading from play store and starts installing. And i try to install the same apps from external source it happens again but the difference is only that this time a message prompt arrives and says play store stopped working. It happens in all the ROMS. I have tried to clear the whole internal storage(excluding recovery, obviously ) but the issue doesn't get fixed...
What can i do to solve this problem?
did you manage to solve it?

No i wasnt able to fix it.
and if u fix it then let me know how.!!
The solution
The only Marshmallow Rom without this issue is AOSP rom, but If you still wanna use other 6.0 Rom you will have to use older version of apps which are causing bootloops.
Also Nougat Rom's don't have this problem but I don't find them stable enough for daily use.

This happens for the "Android System Webview" apk. To solve this issue, here's a step by step guide:
1. Download Android System Webview by Google. (Not from play store. Must be downloaded as an APK)
2. Delete Current Webview with a root browser. (Es file explorer recommended. Located in system/apps/webview.)
3. Reboot device.
4. Now Install the new webview you downloaded.
Problem solved.
Tested and working successfully. Android 5.0.2 , 5.1, 6.0 All ROM with this issue is.... fixed with this method. Tested on all ROMs.
Enjoy.
---------- Post added at 03:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:12 PM ----------
The webview implements a code into the system to properly show the app package to system UI. But the default Android System Webview which comes with the system is kinda bugged. It conflicts with some apps package. This conflict mess up the system... crashing the UI, then the whole system itself. So the device reboots and/or gets stuck in bootloop. Removing the preinstalled webview will solve the issue. I have posted the step by step guide above.
