hey friends i need urgent help
i am using sony ericsson MW-600 stereo Bluetooth headset and using sony mdr-ex57 earphone with that but i am experiencing very low volume through bluetooth..... is there any way to increase volume of stereo bluetooth
please help me out urgently as i have spent lot of money on htc desire hd , bluetooth and on earphone and still i am unsatisfied in volume.......
thanks in advance
Got the same issue with my Dell bt stereo set. But only when watching movies .....wich has mostly divx format. With Mp3 or wav music files sound is just fine , so I think its a filetype issue. Which I also have on Windows pc. Usually I use vlc player on pc which can solve this problem. So I think a good media player can solve this problem.
Tell me if u find one.

Since updating to ARHD 3.0.0 I no longer get a Beats notification when playing music through Spotify or the default Music app.
Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried superwiping and reflashing but no luck.
Have u tried to go to settings - sound - enhancer after u plugged ur headphone?
try to see if u have chosen other eqs.

Have you try to plug your earphone into HOX?
If you listen to music by the phone speaker, beats will not active....
Just to let you know that ARHD was the best rom in HOX... Thank

Hello.
I just updated my Xperia S from CM9 to CM10, and it's great!
But I have this one problem which ruins the whole experience for me. Whenever I plug in my headphones (I use the new Apple Earpods) the sound still goes through the speaker. The only way to get the sound through the earphones is holding the play button when I plug it in, but then the music pauses after 1 second, and when I press play it just goes through the speaker again.
I tried using the 'audio_policy.conf' from the CM10 thread, and I set the permissions correctly, but it didn't work. Is there any way to fix this? Because now I can't listen to my music.
Thanks
agree

Yes, same problem here, fix pls
I have a set of buds with an inline Mic and buttons. To get them to work I have to hold one of the buttons while plugging in. As I don't use these for phone calls I don't know what function the button controls. Labels are gone.

I noticed this too, I think it's because Apple earphones need proprietary Sony drivers to work and FXP can't use these as they're proprietary.
I was just thinking, is it possible to copy the lib (or whatever file) that makes the headphones work on stock to CM9? I know it won't work with CM10, but it should work with 9. I want to try, but I have no idea which file I should use.

Neither do I lol. Try doing some research into the audio libs for ICS? Good luck
Can anybody check if the problem persists while using the Default sony Earplugs which came out of the box with L26i Xperia S?
I am rounding up facts and what all to expect when I flash my phone
I think they should work, but I can't test it since they stopped working after 2 days

I have my Apple earpods working on CM10 All you have to do is download 'SoundAbout' from the Play Store. Open the app and change the 'Media audio...' option to 'Wired Headphones'. The only downside is that you have to change this option everytime you want to use the speaker, but at least the headphones are working

I have the problem too. When I plug in my headphone, the sound is still coming from the speaker T_T
Does anyone have the solution for this?
By the way, when using SoundAbout, what happen to the notification sound? Do they still come to the speaker?

All the sounds come from the earphones, even when you plug them out. But the app has a widget which you can press to change it back to the speakers
Hey Guys,
After I updated my phone to official JB, the sound quality got really bad. When I play a music you can't hear the bass properly and I can hear a cracking/hissing sound in between. This happens when my earphones are connected to the phone, I have tried many earphones (including iphone ones) but the problem still remains. Although the problem is not there when I am connecting my Bose mie2i earphones or Beats studio headphones.
Any suggestions?

Try with factory reset if you are not rooted or even rooted but not in recovery...be sure to save all your important things from the phone to your pc ...if it wouldn't help then download zero infinitys soundmod if you are rooted an flash this...you have to search it in Google or just flash renovate Rom it has the latest sound mod update...

Hi guys,
I have received a new pair of skullcandy hesh 2.0 headphones with an inline microphone.
when the headphones are plugged in my one x displays the headset icon and will not play music via the stock music player or any alternative music player.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I have tried various headset remote apps to get this to work but it still doesn't play music.
standard headphones work fine. My phone is stock jellybean 4.1.
hope you can help.
Can you hear the audio? Only the headphone buttons don't work?

No audio. That's the issue.
if the Mic button or Mic didn't work I wouldn't really care.
Try to hold play button all the time on remote while playing the song cheers

There is no play button on the remote. It has one click operation.
It seems that the one x won't play music through the headset whatsoever, even though they are headphones. The 3.5mm connector that inserts in the phone is a three ring type.

1-did yoy insert the correct bin?
2-did you try the headphone on another device a laptop for example?
Head phones work fine on a direct 3.5 mm jack. Only the microphone lead doesn't play music.
It's a stock phone. So no haven't changed the bin.
Just makes no sense to why a microphone headset that's wired doesn't play music.
