Can anyone port s6 edge for note edge

Can anyone do us a favour with porting s6 edge UI and camera for note edge, please.

the phone isn't even out yet. am i misunderstanding your question?

I think your question is a bit premature. The phone was just announced, no one has one to grab apps from, nor know anyway they are written. Give it some time for the phone to drop or at the very least software be released to pull things from.

That's a good start to a custom app, but not a direct copy of the S6 features.

Do not look good to note edge... , yet!

now the phones are out and people have ported so many things, i think we can also get s6 edge features ported to note edge

Vice versa would make sense actually. S6 edge has no features as compared to Note Edge. Samsung went in the opposite direction this time, from useful features to gimmicks.

+10,000. Watching the video reviews between the 2 that is exactly right...
It is more for a nicer look and the edge apps are kiddy stuff compared to ours....
The only real edge app was the contacts selector at the side and it's nothing we can't do already...
The Edges of the S6 are actually smaller than we have and a lot of people are complaining it's hard to activate the edge feature....

i am just talking about some features ported. thats all, note edge is better than any android device in the market and i true that.

I just want people edge apk on the device and no need to even consider s6 edge then.

why?
read the S8/S8+ or Note8 reviews if you have any doubt. For example - screen lottery (bad colors).
Stunningly so many bad overall reviews!
Not only in my opinion, S6E+ makes better photos than Note8 (!!!)
That has to be one the greatest phones Samsung has ever made alongside the famous Note 4.

My partner got the 8+, c and whilst it IS good, both my 6+ (thinner, beautiful screen) and my Note 4 (indestructible, removable battery, excellent pen, great screen) excite me more.
So much so, I just recently refurbished them. I'm going to keep them forever.

I tell that over and over to pps who have S6E+ that there is no reason to upgrade since a better phone has NOT been created by Samsung yet.
BTW Galaxy S9 will have 4 GB of RAM just like we do and 3000 mAh battery just like we do!
S9 with these parameteres? No thank you, one big LOL!
Man, buying S6E+ was the best choice ever! Still rocks!

Should I buy Tab S4 or not?

Basically, I have always been an Android user back to the early days when XDA was helping users to install Android on their Windows Mobile devices. I akways had devices like Nexus 5, 7, Tab S 8.4, etc. However currently I am terribly depressed with the tablet options out there. I'm not crazy about Samsung experience and apps. I have a Pixel 2 XL I'm pretty happy with.
I never liked Apple much due to the closed nature of their ecosystem. However I always envied their hardware and the simplicity and high performance. From what I've read, the soon to be replaced iPad pro processor A10x easily beats Samsung's shiny new Tab S4 processor Snapdragon 835. Lately, it seems like iOS has opened up a bit slightly... But still can't do all the things Android can do.
So my question is, based on my background... Do you think I would enjoy the Tab s4? For what reason did you choose to hand Samsung over so much money vs the tried and true iPad? I am hesitant to drop so much money on the same processor running on my phone from a year ago. What are your thoughts on the S4?
Also I would be buying the LTE Verizon version to use on TMobile. Does root work there too?

It's the same question I had, but I've always been an android user and in the end I took this tab, even if the latest ipad (not Pro) seems to be a bargain and even supports the pencil.
I can tell you the experience is very good, great battery, great screen, and also dex behaves very well (even if reviews say the opposite). The pen is very well implemented and when you get used to it, it's really a bonus, even if now you think you don't need it.
But I've never tried an ipad and probably it's wonderful, with better apps (they're expensive, but if you don't buy the pro you have a lot of money to spend for the apps).
Also keep in mind that the ipad can't wirelessly mirror the screen to a TV and can't read a Ntfs usb stick.
In the end I don't think you'll be disappointed whatever choice you'll take, it's just up to you to understand which tab better suits to your needs.

I had a lot of doubts like you too. To be honest, I would probably not have bought it if not for the free upgrade to 256gb in my region. Regardless, it is a great tablet to me, beautiful, quite snappy (way way better than Tab S3) and has an awesome screen. Regarding Android apps, you should probably be aware too, most apps are going to say 'it's not optimised for your device' in the playstore but they are usable nevertheless.
DeX mode is really cute too, seeing it 'turns' into a pesudo mini laptop which may or may not be useful to you. This is part of the reason I bought it too to use as a partial laptop
Bottomline, Tab S4 is a much better buy for me compared to the Tab S3 which I bought for only slightly cheaper 1.5 yrs ago (only 32gb storage and laggy as hell!!).

How has the battery life been? Does anyone know if the LTE can get rooted same as the WiFi? I'm planning to buy Verizon version

That's one thing I'm a bit afraid of. Without strong developer community we will be stuck on whatever OS Samsung updates to.

First time i saw my S3 i was suprised how good it look, but some times after i was disappointed. Fingerprint is working like in 2015 flagships, performance is not as good as i expect, performance is poor (on stock it is extremely slow, on linege or treble roms little bit better but still laggy when compared to e.g my OnePlus 5T).
Only good things in this tablet is screen, and nothing else. I'am thinking about switching to Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 or Google Pixel C

Stay away from it if you're going to use it in portrait mode, it suffers from crooked/slanted scrolling on text heavy pages, really annoying.

Its awesome tablet. Almost have working twrp already

Battery life is great, I can get 12 hours SOT (no games, just surfing the Web and reading).
Development could be good, we have a snapdragon 835 which is quite supported. Anyway Samsung features are a great value for me (S Pen is very well implemented) and IMHO they are more important than getting 1 or 2 more releases of android. I have a Note 8.0 tablet with android 4.4.4 and it still works perfectly, I never needed to upgrade to LineageOS Nougat even if it was available.

I disagree with that the S4 is comparable and with further tweaking it will be even better. The pixel c was awesome and I loved it but too old now

Too Old but working better and faster. Even my Nvidia Shield Tablet was faster than Tab S3/S4

You had the Tab S3 but it doesn't look like you have the Tab S4? Why are you so sure they are better than Tab S4?
I have both. Tab S3 is indeed crap but Tab S4 is a lot better.

I've tested S4 for 6 days, and not much changed for me. Lack of fingerprint scanner is disgusting, no more ram and only snapdragon 835. On terms of use, same problems like scrolling lag, etc.

Absolutely not. Pixel C features a Tegra chipset that is not quite very optimized for Android. Also, the Pixel C is a 3-year-old device, not recommended at all.

If you talk to me about optimization, look at S3/S4 performance. UI seems to be laggy, animations are not smooth. In normal use Pixel C seems to work faster, animations are snappy. I have tried Tab S3/S4 and Google Pixel C and i'am going to test Xiaomi mi pad 4. Now am disappointed

Probably not. You can use a Note 10 S Pen with the Note 20, but I don't think it will work the other way.

I think the Note 20 S-pen will work with the Note 10, but probably you won't have latency reduction. I assume that the latency reduction is achieved by changes in both the S-pen and the digitizer in the screen.
To know for sure: Just go to a phone store with your Note 10+ and try the Note 20 Ultra S-pen from a demo model....

Just because the Note 10/10+ S Pen works on the Note 20/20 Ultra, does not mean the Note 20/20 Ultra S Pen will work on the Note 10/10+. You can try it for $40.00 though. Let us know if it works.

The latency reduction is with the N20, using the N20 pen with the N10 even if it works will not reduce latency time.
For the price Sammy should have done on the 10+ too.

If it's software based it might come to the Note 10/10+ yet.
But this won't be for a while, if at all, as this is a "feature" of the Note 20 series..,. Why kill your cash cow when the suckers will buy another one....

Sure it's hardware. Samsung could have used better chipsets in the 10 like for bluetooth but they didn't. Pigs.
No Sammy not buying a very expensive flagship phone (that you deliberately choose to skimp on) every year from you.
Get your sh.. together or maybe it will be an Asus next year.

I am not verry impressed The farther i update the more ads samsung pushes down our throats I have been using unmentionable software and have piece by piece patching the system to get rid of sammies ads,But I still cant every where. There for a few I was impressed with sammy and one ui and s8 but s9 got bad s10 worse My note 10 F is fricking horrible

Yeah... package blocked them. Enable galaxy store only when I need it as it sucks resources in the background as well.
Samsung music, blocked; Poweramp.

The lower latency is hardware on the phone. The spens should be intercompatible. Note 10's pen on N20 Ultra should also work the lower latency. But the other wah around won't give you better latency on N10+.

newbie here. I wonder if you plan on adding a ROM for the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. It's an awesome camera phone and has a removable battery (which is not quite up to par with its requirements).
It would be an awesome addition.
