I was trying to instal a custom rom from clockwork mod and while it was instaling the instalation was aborted because of status 7 problem and its stuck in the recovery mode and i cant do anything and my pc cant see it.
Any help appricated

i was trying to install cm 11 http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=endeavoru
and the recovery was clockwork mod
but today it doesnt even start

If you want install cm11 rom you musst use cwm v6.xx.
thank you for your replies but now the priority is to get it to start running again , cause its completely dead
Been trying to install a Rom for about a week still can't get passed the status 7 error and I changed the updater script still get the status 7 don't kno Wat to do
What ROM are you trying to flash and what recovery are you using?

Um that ROM isn't working and was abandoned by the developer before he ever even got it to boot.
I also tried with the cm11 Rom to and get the same thing can u prefer a good stable Rom for my vm model please

I before tape-worm the same problem: Mistake in/storage/sdcard1/....... (estatus7) on having installed, change custom recovery

kind of what error do you mean?
when you try to change the rom, you can flash/install the rom via recovery, like CWM, TWRP etc, but not stock recovery
and you can flash (or boot) the custom recoveries through fastboot
dude I know everything about ROMs and also I have tested all the ROMs available for nokia x......but after installing this rom when I try to change rom it says"error installing rom" I tried all the recovery's bit everytime it's showing the same error even after installing stock rom
pls. help me!!!! I don't like InitiaL rom

flash stock rom .img files using nx flasher .... it will work 100%

I don't sincerely kno if it could function but try because it could contains the partitions needed by the IMEI ,about the i-Fi Mac adress I think it's less dangerous,I hope you'll fix that.At anyay use google
while flashing partition "modem+modem1" ..it says partition table doesnt exist....
now what to do ?

while restoring backup from TWRP... it gives bootloops...and phone doesnt start...

whenever I install CM 11 or 12 or 12.1 ..phone goes in bootloops.

And what miui rom are you now, that can boot?
Did u use the last twrp or recomended twrp for cm rom, cm11 and cm12 diferent twrp as i read, and miui too, i guess
Both MIUI 5 & MIUI 6 beta are booting in phone.
but while installing CM 11 or restoring CM 12 back up phone goes in boot loops..
Latest TWRP is installed .....

You said only boot with stock rom, bootloop with custom rom. Had you ever, by any mean ticked the SElinux fix permision? Well, if you ever done that, you will have bootloop with CM rom, no matter if you reflashed again. I had this experience while flashing my friend device, but fixed already, now running in cm12.1
Otherwise, i had no clue for your problem...

check your kernel or try another one to see if it boots fully.
What recovery is on the phone? Phone is running the latest bootloader and modem? Are you wiping the system before installing the ROM?

Yea tried other Roms of nougat but no luck...
Im stuck in tw based roms as 6.0.1 and 7.1 aosp are not booting in my phone..:crying:

how much time does it get stucked in boot logo?
most nogut roms don't show the "Optimizing Apps" dialogue, so they take more time showing only boot animation.
also there is another thing, do you try to flash superSU after flashing the rom?, SuperSU works only on a permissive kernel, and the nogut rom you are trying to flash might have an Enforcing kernel, that's why you get bootlooped.
Assalam brother... jazakallah for ur reply☺ brother after flashing nougat rom my phone stucks for more than half an hour and it gets heated.. and im not flashing any super su zip i followed all the instuctions but dont know what is causing my phone to does not boot up properly...? i also installed previous marshmellow roms all these r showing same problem..? im got stucked on TW based roms ... can u help me out with this problem .. brother...?... thanks in advance...

ok lets start with basic questions, do you wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik cache, and preload) before flashing the nogut rom?
all above mentioned must be wiped first.

something is wrong indeed, what is the file system of the system partition and data partition?
is it ext4 or f2fs?
you can find that in the advanced wipe menu in TWRP, there is an option at the bottom says "repair or change partition" or something like that..

OK, one last try, download the MOST LATEST stock rom from SamMobile and flash it, maybe the problem is that you have an old bootloader.
download the stock rom and flash it on your phone using Odin, then after that try flashing twrp again with Odin and flash any nogut rom with it.

this one is too old bro, it's from 2014, the latest released firmware (2017) is in Taiwan which is this one:

if you are rooted, i suggest you backup your efs partition first using the tool I'm attaching...just in case.
after that flash the rom and see if you carrier will work, if it didn't then probably you will need the modem from the Indian firmware.

Make sure you are flashing for the correct variant. Are you sure you have a N7100? Do you at least see the boot animation?
