[THEME-Apr24] ⋮░⋮ PCB Blue v1.8.2 ⋮░⋮ Circuit Boards! - for AOKP b34/M4 (GSM + LTE)
⋮░⋮ PCB Blue v1.8.2 ⋮░⋮
Updated on 04-24-2012 (mm/dd/yyyy)
for AOKP_b34/m4
Hi all! I have been a proud owner (and still am actually) of an HTC Desire, ASUS Transformer TF101, and now the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM). On each of these devices, I've created a properly-built theme based on my PCB image.
This theme for the GNex is my newest, and based/influenced by my original PCB Sense (v2.x) Theme and PCB Blue for Prime! on the TF101. I'm happy with how it turned out, so I wanted to offer it up to all the fellow XDA users!
Supported Devices:
Galaxy Nexus GSM (maguro)
Galaxy Nexus CDMA (toro)
ASUS Transformer (tf101) (coming soon)
Couple of things to note:
ONLY for AOKP_b34/m4! (older versions are archived). You can try it on other ROMs, but this theme was built from AOKP sources.
*NOTE* - You must choose "CircleMOD" in Settings --> ROM Control --> Battery --> Battery Icon Style to see custom icons, otherwise stock is used
This design was meant to be quite close to stock for those who dig the ICS UI, but want something a bit unique
It is currently a work-in-progress, and will evolve over time. I hope to keep adding more and more...
Please do not ask for too many new feature requests. I am quite a busy dood, and this is still the early days of ICS. I will definitely update it when I can, but I have been making Android themes for a while, and it becomes quite tedious and time consuming to create new .zips/.apks for each and every ROM release. I will certainly do my best though!
I have edited a lot of images with utmost care and attention to detail including those precious draw9patch ones
CHANGE LOG is below
Screenshots:
These are some of the graphic components I built and used in this theme (more actual screenies coming soon):

Downloads + Change Log + MD5 Checksums :
* IMPORTANT * - Do NOT flash this theme immediately after flashing a ROM/gapps/kernel etc., as it will cause issues. If you flash a fresh ROM, boot into it fully, then reboot to Recovery, wipe Dalvik-Cache, then install my theme by itself. Reboot one final time and you should be good to go!
Everything is now at the PCB Theme mini-site
Don't forget that you can use the included PCB Theme Companion App to check for new versions easily on your phone (just click "Website")
Simply scan the QR code below with your phone for the fastest way to download (just don't forget to remember it's location when flashing! It's usually /sdcard/Download):
(*NOTE* - if you DL on your GNex and end up with a '.bin' extension, just rename it to '.zip', check MD5, and flash in CWM)
» PCB Theme Mini-Site »
[qrcode]"http://pcb.pla.bz/devices"[/qrcode]
Installation:
First off, ensure that you're running AOKP_b34/m4, then simply download the flashable .zip below, save it to your /sdcard folder, enter ClockworkMod Recovery (hold Vol_Down + Vol_Up + Power on fresh bootup, then press Up a few times to highlight "Recovery", then press Power) and choose "Install .zip from sdcard", then browse to where you saved the file. I'd also recommend doing a wipe of the Dalvik-Cache. That's it!
Uninstall/Removal:
It would be double the work for me to provide another .zip to revert files, so what I would recommend is that you just extract your original /system/app/SystemUI.apk and /system/framework/framework-res.apk from your original ROM .zip and drop them in a copy of my theme .zip, overwriting them. Simply enter Recovery and flash that .zip which should revert ONLY those 2 files. I'd also recommend doing a wipe of the Dalvik-Cache.
BONUS Wallpapers:

(thanks/credit to iteppo on deviantArt for the wallies below)
if you like it... (I would greatly appreciate that!!) otherwise, a click of the THANKS button is awesome!
Disclaimer:
Flash this at your own risk! I am NOT responsible for any damage, however I do use it myself and always perform a NANDROID backup + Dalvik wipe before installing. Also, PM me before you rip out any of my resources if you wanted to use them in your own theme/project. I can be accommodating so long as you get in touch first!
Credits and thanks to some of the resources used go out to:
hostedWithGeeks for the excellent hosting experience/service
Team KANG for making a great ROM for the Galaxy Nexus
UOT Kitchen for their circle battery icons
Some other icons were obtained at IconFinder
nice theme will try out.
Gonna try this too. Thanks.

Just installed a little while ago. Quite like it so far, nice subtle theme, but that's a good thing for me since I like the ICS style. Thanks for this.
Thanks to all of you guys for giving it a shot I am still planning on making improvements as time goes on, but I'd love to hear any feedback, either good, bad, or suggestions for the future.
Again, hope you enjoy the work I put in to this!

Hey Collin, I probably could, however as I just got my Nexus and am using b26, I just released this version initially. I am not sure what the roadmap for the AOKP ROMs are (i.e. when the next Milestone will be coming), so I may just wait for M4.
Otherwise, I have been using b23/25/26 for about 1.5 weeks and haven't had any issues, so I might recommend you upgrade to b26 (it even has some great new features over M3). Of course, if you do a Nandroid and then try it out, you'll have nothing to lose!
As this is the first release, more will come, and I will do my best to support as many ROM versions as I can (which can be a handful for someone like me with little time...trying to run my own business and it takes a LOT out of me!).
Cheers!
Awesome Looking theme, What r the chances of seeing it in Red?

Possibly in due time, but I actually first need to get it to a state where all of the resources that I wanted to edit are in fact 'final'. At that point I would then take the collection and apply different colour schemes. I did it for my PCB Sense version, however it was one of the last steps after I had created everything in green. Sooo, not ruling it out, but most likely not any time soon.

Kick ass KD! I was hoping to hear/see some of the TF101 crew who also snagged the GNex. Thanks for giving good use to my themes, and also for the feedback. You're right, I did ask for +/-, and I actually do agree with you on the status bar icons. I know they don't really fit into the super clean modern look of ICS, but my geek nostalgia forced me to use them, as I have been doing so since my Desire days. That, and the fact that I wasn't feeling very creative to think hard about it I'll be honest I did design the Wifi icons from scratch though (notice how you didn't specifically mention those?), so I'll try to do the same thing again for the battery/BT/cell ones after getting my creative smok, err, juices flowing again I've got some ideas...
Thanks again fellas, already 236 downloads in less than a day! \o/ (is that good or bad? I dunno, still cool tho!)
awesome looking theme
love the subtle pcb design. Maybe u could change the softkeys up a little.
Would there be any issues if i flash other softkeys over it? will the animation be overwritten?

Thanks klyzon! Really glad you are liking the theme.
In terms of the softkeys, if the package that installs them replaces SystemUI.apk (just have a look in the .zip), then you will most likely lose many parts of my theme (I have modded both SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk). I will consider building different collections of .apks with different softkeys, but again, this is just the first release of my theme, so that may happen in the future.
Otherwise, if you (or anyone else) do see different softkeys that you want to use, post a link in this thread and I'll ask the dev/themer of those images if I would be allowed to use them in a version of my theme.
** EDIT ** - I just checked one of packages from this thread --> [SOFTKEYS] Softkey Collection 2.0 [GSM/CDMA] [Update 08-02] by atticus182 and he actually provides a .zip with PNG images! This is great because it will allow you to take my SystemUI.apk and merge in those PNGs so you can ONLY replace the softkeys. You'll just need to extract my SystemUI.apk somewhere temporary, pop in the PNGs to the correct place (/res/drawable-xhdpi) and then drag that modified SystemUI.apk back into my .zip flash package. Also, the PCB pattern behind the softkeys is kept in 2 PNGs from my SystemUI.apk, namely "ic_sysbar_highlight.png" and "ic_sysbar_highlight_land.png", so just don't overwrite those and you'll be good to go!
Please do let me know if you've tried that, and how it works out for you. It would be great to have a UOT Kitchen type of webapp to build custom themes, but I don't have the know-how to build this for PHP/.net/etc...Anyways, hope this helps in the meantime!
Hey all!
I've just updated the PCB theme to v1.1.0 which is based on AOKP b27. I am running it right now, and it's working (and looking! ) great!
I have also added a few more features/skinned elements, and I'll work on making up a couple of screenies right now.
Anyways, please test it out if you're on AOKP b27 (which is amazing btw), and let me know what you think. Cheers and thanks!
Installed and very nice.
2 requests / suggestions.
Not all of the loading animations are blue and make the lock screen lock icon blue.

actually, i kinda dislike the top bar being in pcb design, the old black bar suits it better, more subtle imho

Thanks for the feedback Sleeepy2, however it is very hard to cater to each individual need (as mentioned in the OP). I did not make ALL spinner animations blue because the Android system has 2 by default (black and white). I simply made the black ones blue, and left the white...well, white.
As for the lock screen lock icon, I will also leave that white, as it blends/fits in with the other lock screen elements. More importantly, white offers a better contrast, in case someone had a blue-ish wallpaper, in which case the lock would be hard to see.
I'm sorry if I am not being very helpful here, but it's actually quite easy for you to change the colours, spinners, etc. yourself if you'd really like to. Please just don't re-release a modded version of my theme if you do though. Modding my theme for your own usage would be absolutely fine though!

Hey klyzon, appreciate the feedback here, even though I actually do like the top status bar pattern. I definitely hear what you are saying though, as it doesn't make the theme very subtle any longer. Also, my lady gave me some grief for this too when I flashed it to her GNex
I am pondering whether or not to make 2 versions of the theme. One with basic, subtle PCB design mods, and one with everything styled to the tits Of course, that means double the work when it comes to updating (AOKP is on a roll!), so it will eat more of my already limited time
I just wish there was a better way to mod system resources without having to decompile/rebuild each .APK as they are updated...if anyone does know of such a method, PLEASE let me know! I looked into Ninja/Metamorph, but I don't think they offer much better methods. There was a thread about the VillainTheme system in the ASUS Transformer forums, but it never worked properly (wasn't actively worked on either).
Anyways, sit tight if you can for a few, and I'll try to work some more magic...
P.S. - I'd love to hear anyone else's thoughts on this. It would be great to get to a version that the majority approves of!
Hey, just installed and really like how subtle the effects are
I for one really like the PCBed(?) status bar!
2 things:
- The alarm icon gets kind of faded (it's never really "in your face" anyway)
- Could not get alternative softkeys to go with it.... Will have to learn to open those flashable zips and get the hands a little dirty
Thanks for the great job Not often that I actually install AND keep a theme
I really want this to work with my Razr on AOKP 27, but it never seems to work. Any idea how to get it working? I LOOOOVE this theme!
Edit: This is what my lwp looks like actually, so it would match!
As for the lock screen lock icon, I will also leave that white, as it blends/fits in with the other lock screen elements. More importantly, white offers a better contrast, in case someone had a blue-ish wallpaper, in which case the lock would be hard to see.

I thought it would be grate to have a spot, were we clould ask questions to Clark44 about his Rom FreeGS3 v0.0.7 7-27-12
I am a realy Big fan since version 7 the Installer shows so much spunk!!!
I realy think keeping everything for Clark44 in one spot will help him in further creation of his rom.
After spending time with this rom all i can think about is how do I donate to keep it going?
I can not wait for the themes to come out for this Rom.
***First question Clark. May I use Setcpu and Ram Manager with your Rom?

I'd say don't use CPU apps. He has some tweaks in there and never mentioned anything about outside apps.

goo rom manager question
I do not want to loose the abilty to save recoveries to my extSdCard. So I am afraid to switch from CWM version that i am using.
The question is, can we use the Goo Manager to download the zip then use the CWM to flash it ?
I am just not sure if it packed and repack the same way.
Youtube isn't working when I'm on the go, using my 3g. But it works fine when I connect to Wifi. Maybe I did something wrong or maybe it just my phone?
Clark44 never sleeps...he is a rom machine
I noticed on the messaging app that the vibration when silent option was absent with .7. I don't need my phone vibrating when I get texts with sound on so I was wondering if there was a way to get that back. Thanks.

I prefer the old options too. When I unchecked vibrate and sound in settings > sound I still get vibration when texts come in
No S-Voice options please
The installer is very cool. This is now my goto build for installing modems, I can install them at install then update PRL with one build.
I can't live with S-voice though, it just can't call the people I want and... don't get me started on it.
I hoped choosing not to install the removed Samsung apps would include S-voice but I still get it when I make a BT voice dial.
Is there any way to have the option to not have S-voice and use Google voice instead?
Thanks!
Thanks for posting this thread! I can't post in the dev forums yet (too new) so I had no way to get into the conversation.
I've got two questions.
1. Is anyone using JuiceDefender with this Rom? I'm used to it from my Samsung Galaxy Epic, but I wasn't sure if it's needed on this ROM. I like some of the features (Location aware Wifi, etc) but maybe not if it's sacrificing battery.
2. (For Clark) On version .8, is there any way to build in some of the color/theme options from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28676439 ? I'm not a big fan of green, so I would love to change the colors of the battery and the 15 toggles...
Thanks!

Well, I think it depends on how you use your phone. For me at least, JuiceDefender has helped out TREMENDOUSLY. I live in an area with bad reception and I'm constantly going in and out of roaming. Having all my data turned off while I'm not using the phone really helps boost my battery life (and not having to do so manually is worth the $5 in my opinion).
Without JD I'm at about 10-15% when I get home from work (10 hr work days). With JD I'm at about 30% when I get home.
I guess everyone's mileage may vary, but if you've already bought JD you might as well try and see if it helps your battery life.
side note: I also love the night tint in JD
I've actually got a couple of questions with this ROM.
First, though, I have to say this is a phenomenal ROM. I initially flashed it solely as a stop-gap while waiting for CM10 to come out for my Sprint GSIII, but it quickly has become my daily driver.
So with the installer on the 0.0.7 version, there are multiple radios. Is there any advantage in flashing one of those, or just leaving it be? Also I really like the CRT animations and beats audio, but it wasn't there in the 0.0.7 version, so I just went with 0.0.6. Is there a way to get it on the 0.0.7 version or have those features been disabled? I went off the video review on youtube, linked but for some reason, on my version, little to no features were on mine compared to the review video. Is there a way to enable them on the newest version? Thanks.
It got lost on the main thread, but awesome beats will be back in .8 (he forgot to put it in .7) and crt was broken by Samsung

Nice thread you guys have going on here
As for themeing. Let me explain how im going to have this system setup at latest by v0.0.9.
I've done some research and finally found an app that will do the following:
1. Notify when update is available
2. Allow user to download themes, bootanimations, apps, flashables, all within the app and all supplied by me.
3. Allow the user to read the changelog of upcoming buids on the go.
The link to this app is here
Now i already started migrating the boot animation option i already finished in Aroma installer into this app and that should be done very soon. Themers will also be able to send me whatever they make and i can make it an option in the app!
This will benefit us in the following:
1. Aroma installer stays and installs kernels, modems, and mods
2. ROM size doesn't go up to 2GB when i add in all the themes ect. (Size will always be around 860)
3. Users can change their theme and UI mods on the go without having to reinstall the ROM.
I'm trying to make customization available without having to reinstall the entire ROM. This will give us the best of both worlds.
I'm working on this as we speak so I might dissapear from XDA for a little bit while i stay on my train of thought But in spite of everything...this is going to get a whole lot better.

No on CRT, see back a page or two with a draft of the mods in next release.
The radio's are the different modems you can choose, there have been three releases (updates) and the original that came with the phone. That is what the radios are.

Are there any advantages/disadvantages in flashing a different modem to the phone? It seems to be a consensus that LF9 gives better signal, but I'm afraid for the drawbacks.
Downloading .8 now. Very excited.
Clark, I have a small request for .9.
Any chance you can add on my favorite bootanimation from my Samsung Epic days?
It's the third link found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033274
(I'm also a big fan of the blue shutdown animation, but that's not nearly as big of a priority.)
Thanks!

Known issue, not all icons change with themes, and Phone app does not change with themes.
Awesome! Thanks for the efforts and hard work in providing this!
P.S.
The links to Weebo and Theme Editor aren't working.

Thanks.
I copied that first post directly from the original thread so not sure why the links are down.
After trying to port several different ROMs for several days, I was glad to see at least one work so far.

I forgot about the gapps, I'm uploading them now. I also found xda links for weebo and the theme-editor and updated them.
I saw this ROM on their thread and had wished for it to be ported to LS970! Haha crazy-awesome!! Thanks for the hard work!

Ok, so I have been using this ROM for the biggest part of the day (it's almost 6pm here). I have to say I am very impressed so far. It's Quick, Smooth and has just the right settings for me with the exception of Halo I do miss that! Also this is the only ROM (so far) I have used where I have notice the focus issue with the camera on my device. For now I just installed Camera ZoomFX (seeing I bought it ages ago) and that helped, later I am going to try the script and see what happens.
Q. Where can I find the option to turn DeBug on?
Peace,
running smooth so far. MMS, sending and receiving, incoming/outgoing calls, 4g, WiFi, but is there a way to get the 13mp back for the camera?

I'm sure there is. Like I said I hadn't made any tweaks or changes yet.
I have been aggressively trying to port 4.3 ROMs so that has been my primary focus. After that I am going to update nexOGen and then will get back to this.
Edit: This was a super easy quick port so glad to see its working so well.

My Experience
After using this pretty much since it was posted here, here is what I have experienced.
No Debug Option
Camera focus (as with most rom's)
Wifi is iffy (signal comes and goes)
Over heating (long idle times tend to cause this for some reason)
Lost of booting (See note)
NOTE: Losing the ability to be able to boot into the phone comes when I have 1) Used TWRP 2) Used USB to transfer files. I haven't been able to tell if it's when you do them in session or just one or the other causing problems period. Either way the phone pretty much does and all I can do is LGNPST.
I like the Avatar ROM, just think that it definitely needs more work done to it for the LGOG LS970, That's not to sound ungrateful in any way droidmk I am very thankful for your hard work.
Just wanted to share my experience.
Thanks,

It's all good man, I appreciate your comments. I'm sorry it's not better for you. Maybe I should get into building from source. Haven't dived into that yet. I'm completely new at all of this and just trying to do my best to contribute.

I can understand that, well I think you are off to a good start. Porting is prob. one of the better places to start and then move on to source? I am still using this ROM despite the issues I stated. I can't help but like the feel of it and the ability to customize everything (almost) from a single theme is awesome!
If I can be of any assistance to you (testing or whatever) feel free to holler.
Ok,
I was banging my head against a brick wall porting 4.3 so I went back to this to try to give you a better experience. Will have a new version up today.

Sounds good bro... I tried porting the 3.1 ver. I think it was, but couldn't get it past the boot animation... was my first attempt at porting/rom.
Thanks,
Changelog 3.1:
Changed base to spleef's liquid smooth ROM. (Seems to have fixed boot problem.)
Added adri's thermald tweak.
Added _Epic's and crwolv's camera mods.
Added lokifishmarz' GPS tweaks.
Added a bunch of build.prop tweaks.
Removed OTA updater, I will keep updated as best I can.
Will make this pretty and add it to OP later. Going to a movie.

S5 themed Android L Keyboard by @kevin_1351: (soon to be fully working)
So, what's all this about?:
After more than 3 weeks of hard work we're finally ready to present you the brand new v17 version. Now with an amazing Aroma installer that, based on your device model, installs the right fixes to make it fully working with your particular Note 3. You can also, if you're using the international Note 3, select from many of the leading kernels out there and much much more. We've also managed to get it even a little bit ram friendlier and have removed many UI errors and annoyances.
But no, we aren't finished yet my friends. We have also included a fully integrated OTA update system that will notify you in case there are some updates (to be found in Settings). Also in Settings there is now - assuming you've installed Xposed Framework- an Xposed button integrated into settings. And right now you're about to ask: "Well, what about Appops?". Well that's there too!
We've tested it for a long time now but if you manage to find some bugs don't even bother to post them here before you have:
A.Used the provided logcat app to gather the log.
B. Searched if someone else already has mentioned it.
ALSO:Please state if you have performed a full-wipe aswell every time you report a problem. And for ota flashing issues use TWRP.
What variants does this rom work on?
N9005, N900T and N900W8
What's missing/Not working?
Bluetooth tethering (?)
Video calling (probably will get fixed, can't promise it)
Display mirroring (update: Well it seems that out provided fix didn't fix it... We'll work on it)
Direct pen input/Writingbuddy (needs major smali editing, would be easier once a new note device comes out)
Wifi-timer(coming soon with ota)
Multilanguage (will also be available as a separate post-installer really soon)
Fully functional S5 themed google keyboard (coming soon)
Download booster/Wificalling toggle (coming soon)
Private mode (won't work because it's deodexed)
ART (same)
Important notes:
Regarding gps problems when returning to normal rom:
tyre777 said:

Regarding the THEMED Google Keyboard:
This is a problem due to apktool. After being recompiled it ceases to function at 100%. @kevin_1351 is trying to fix it once and for all. For now you will have to either use the stock one. Or try to tap on a textfield somewhere until the forceclose messages don't come up anymore. Once they aren't showing up anymore, they will NEVER come back and the keyboard will be fully working. This WILL be fixed via an OTA update.
Before we provide our existing fix for wifi. Please update the bootloader to the newest NF4 one. (Of course I'm talking about the one for note 3, NOT the S5)
About Xposed Framework:
Please DO NOT recover Xposed from a backup OR install it in any other way! It's already included in Aroma. IF you install it you will end up with two apks! This is because the provided Xposed apk is modded to not show it's icon. The icon as stated above, is now integrated in Settings.
Regarding the time sync delay:
This isn't our fault. To fix it, go to Settings>Lockscreen and set Dual-clock to OFF. That will "fix" it. For any further complaints about this. Go to Samsung.com
Regarding "wifi is not working" issues:
Update your bootloader to NF4 via ODIN. Google it if you don't know how to perform this task.
Regarding the themes app forceclosing:
If you HAVE NOT selected any themes at all in aroma. It will forceclose. In the new aroma I will make sure that "themes" doesn't even get installed if don't select any.
Regarding random reboots:
This isn't really our fault either. It's a kernel issue. Flash the stock kernel. Most people like @kevin_1351 doesn't have this issue at all with any kernel whatsoever. But some may have them. Now you know.
OTA updates:
Yes, this ROM provides you with OTA updates, you'll find it in Settings. We initially had problems with this because we were using DropBox. Now @cdmvirt has provided dedicated servers to fix it once and for all. He has payed for this out of his own pocket's (for the most part) so please show him some appreciation.
For all issues regarding flashing OTA updates, be sure that you're using the TWRP recovery (v2.7.2.1 or newer). We will not provide support for the other recoveries (although in the most cases you can manually flash it by navigating to OTA folder).
For N900T and N900W8 owners, TWRP has not update their recovery to 2.7.2.1 yet so we are stuck with 2.7.2.0 and 2.7.1.2 respectively, please flash OTA manual until they upgrade for our devices. It's not our fault and no way around it.
For issues regarding the OTA download: please delete the OTA folder first and try again.
Live-support:
Sadly XDA doesn't provide us with any chat system, which we really would love to see in the future btw. Therefore @cdmvirt has integrated a chat system in order for you to get live support from either us or other users. Follow the download link to get there.
Possible future additions:
Optional battery themes
Autocallrecording
Aroma installer that remembers your last choices
More air-command themes
Android L apps (LPV81C) the newest released versions of the Google apps.
So with that being said, here we proudly present:
Mod edit: link removed.

Questions and concerns: All Q&A can be posted HERE. If you want your questions answered post on the Q&A. Also DO NOT post your questions and concerns on this thread PLEASE USE THE Q&A THREAD.
Please take an extra note: Although this IS STATED in the aroma installer. Some users simply do not want to follow it. You have so perform a fullwipe (included in aroma) to make this ROM fully work. Please do not, as some users already have, waste our time with errors that could have been avoided by following our instructions. A fullwipe is only needed once, and won't be needed with the coming OTA updates.

Donations:
None of us are into this for the money. But we've got server costs (for the OTA dedicated server) to pay for and we really have spent countless hours on this. This simply is a fact. It's not a simple task to do what Samsung should have done at our place. It requires weeks of studying, trial and error and lots of coffee. We do this for fun and for the challenge that comes with it. But it goes without saying that we also would like some appreciation for our work. Either by just a thanks or by a small donation. As for everyone saying that they're too poor and/or are students. Well 1$ is nothing and if you own a Note in the first place you should be able to spend 1$ more dollar on this aswell. Some of us are students too, so we know what we're talking about. But hey, this is XDA. You're free to use it without paying a cent, but at least try to show some appreciation for it.
EDIT: As of now more than 600 people using our ROM.

Chr0nic's Modded MM v1.7.5
DISCLAIMER:I am not responsible for any bricks, or damage to your devices, this software is provided as is and has been tested numerous times. That being said, your warranty is now void (of course it was once you rooted [emoji23] ) Enjoy!
Introduction
As with some other ROM devs in the area, seeing little to no ROMs for the Galaxy S6 Edge I was a bit perturbed. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and with the guidance of another well known dev, I came up with this. Keeping most of the sammy features in tact and removing a bunch of extra bloat. This ROM is mainly debloated according to how I like it, if you need to remove more, then by all means, please do.
Features
*3Minit Battery
*Potato Clock
*Potato Gradient
*Rounded Notifications
*Rounded Recents
*Call Recording
*Recent Lock (allows you to protect an app in your recents so it stays active after killing all others.
*6 Toggle with max of 12 across
*Numerous CSC Edits (Dual Dashboard, Diasble SMS to MMS Conversion, Enable blacklist,
Save SMS Messages to SD, Enable Call Blocking, Ability to disable camera shutter, Etc....)
*5 way power menu.
*WiFi Calling Works...
*Display Scaling
*Outdoor Mode
*Private mode***
*Integrated Adaway
*Integrated Xposed Installer (Still need to flash Xposed Binaries)
*Moved Cell and WiFi signals to the left.
*Integrated Nova Launcher as an option for Launcher.
I'm sure there is more I am forgetting.
ROM COMES WITH Twisted Edge V8 Kernel Which has drastically reduced RAM consumption and now comes with KTweaker to make your Kernel changes and tweaks.
ROM Can be flashed on S6 Flat variant. After flashing, mount system in TWRP, tap install and navigate to system/mods/kernels and flash the Flat kernel for it to work.
Installation: Download or copy zip to internal storage, boot into your preferred recovery (TWRP recommended) wipe cache, data, and system 3x, Flash ROM, Xposed, or anything else you want to add. Enjoy. First boot can take upwards of 15 minutes.
Bugs????? You tell me
Download: Download Make a backup before you flash.
If you want WiFi calling to work, you must flash the kernel in the mods folder.
Kernel Source can be found in the proper thread provided here.

Changelog
v1.7.5 Added Smart Manager from Vote 7 v2, Added Note 7 People Edge, Tasks Edge, Apps Edge. A backup before flashing is suggested
v1.7.4 Added Device Maintenance from Note 7, Added OmaCP.apk from Note 7, Galaxy Apps, and theme store from Note 7. (Probably wont make a difference.
) If you want WiFi calling to work you MUST flash V4 kernel in the /System/Mods folder
v1.7.3 Added Gear VR Setup back into the priv-app folder. Optional Update
v1.7.2 Can be dirty flashed if coming from clean flash of 1.7.1. Added white pages function for incoming calls (may need clean flash for it to work) Fixed screencast issue, all apps multi-window enabled unless app does not support it.
v1.7.1 Removed rom info, removed toolbox and supersu from settings, updated services jar to add screenshot and screen record. MUST BE CLEAN FLASHED! Remember to nandroid before flashing.
v1.7.0 Added SuperSu to settings, removed signature check.
v1.6.7 added Smart Manager from S7, there is no icon so it must be accessed via the settings, added Rom info to Device settings. removed a few more bloat apps. More to come just reviewing options at this point.
v1.6.5 Minor changes. Fixed FC in the messaging app. Removed the T-Mobile Adapt Client app from system (again). (Looking into the VoLTE issue. If you would like to try V3 of the @The Sickness Twisted Kernel you can get that here )
v1.6 removed high volume warning, added 3 zips in a folder called mods, which will be in your system partition. Flash these at the time of updating if you want V4A (Courtesy of @stangdriver44 ), or Totally stock status bar , or modded with right side signals. Accidentally added Tmobile Adapt client back into the Priv-App folder, just use a root file explorer and delete it until the next update. Sorry about that.
v1.5 Integrated Toolbox Controller, fixed overlap in editing quick tiles. smooth as butter this update.
v1.4 Beta Rolled back a few of the S7 apps as they were causing a few issues for me Mainly dialer and messaging. Integrated Nova Launcher, updated Kernel to Latest Twisted Series V4. Added back VR Setup files. Added Viper4Android. (currently looking into Dolby Atmos)
v1.3 Merged S7 Edge Apps: Dialer, Contacts, Email, SecMyFiles, Messaging, Browser, Theme store, Galaxy Apps, Edge apps and a few others. Clean Flash is advised for this update
v1.2
Integrated AdAway and Xposed Installer
Added My Files back to system (should fix issues with Private Mode)
v1.1 Fixed WiFi Calling Preferences
Removed Knox from about device
Added Display Scaling
v1 Initial Release
All updates can be dirty flashed from previous version unless otherwise stated
Welcome! Great to see some new devs stepping in to fill the obviously void here due to lack of development!
I just have to say this, "Do this for you"! Don't build anything or make custom builds for anyone but yourself!
When you feel good that things are stable and running well, then share your work with no expectations from anyone!
This will prevent you from possibly getting discouraged from lack of feedback and appreciation!
I myself get so excited after I've put in tons of hours/days adding features and mods and it's finally ready for release only to get a handful of thanks!
That's when I remind myself I build this for me, add the mods I use and when I'm ready, I am nice enough to share my work with others to use, for free, because I have it and without this community (XDA-DEVELOPERS, not the S6 forums), none of this would've been possible.
I've learned a lot and am always trying to give back what I can!
That being said if you have any questions or need and advice I'm only a PM away.
If you look around I'm sure you'll see my work to give you an idea of things I might be able to help with.
Again, welcome, good job and keep it up!

Welcome! Great to see some new devs stepping in to fill the obviously void here due to lack of development!
I just have to say this, "Do this for you"! Don't build anything or make custom builds for anyone but yourself!
When you feel good that things are stable and running well, then share your work with no expectations from anyone!

To be honest, if it weren't for the help and guidance of The Sickness, I would not have been publishing anything.
I do appreciate the welcome. Thank you

Well, that theme is actually from the theme store. I would have included it as part of the ROM, but I don't believe in "borrowing" the work of any paid apps or themes. I used to develop stupid little soundboard to entertain my friends. I put them up on the app store and they were quickly popping up on other sites for free. I had to start using licensing and eventually, because it was not worth the hassle, I shut down my developer account and stopped everything. Pulled down all active links for the app, set any hidden YouTube videos in the app to private. It's just not cool.

Ahh, well either way.. it makes for great screenshots lol. I agree with you on that. I can't imagine spending months writing a paid program only to have it passed around for free and receive nothing for long nights and headaches.

Exactly why I stopped. Lol, I was not going to keep updating and putting out newer versions. It won't run properly on anything beyond KK, it may launch but after a few seconds it crashes. So, I guess I win in the end.

Well, well.............VERY nice job bro. I'm glad you finally got this thing up and running.
Maybe if folks did what you did and took a leap in faith we would have more builds coming out
than we do now.......
Now that the hard part is done, now you can start doing so serious modding to it.......

If you're having any type of FC, submit a log along with it so I can see what's causing it. Also, the only way you're gonna remove those mods is if I put up a zip for the stock ui, I'll do that later today.

No it's not installed, it just shows in the settings. All Knox applications have been removed.
