Ported from LGOG International (E975).
Wipe cache, dalvik cache, system, data (not internal storage), flash and then reboot.
I have not made any tweaks or changed anything, just ported it.
I played around with it for a little bit and made a phone call, but did not test everything.
I used Shelnutt2's CM 10.2 as the base.
Here is the original thread for Avatar ROM from bippi79.
I used the nightly 4.0 version from that thread.
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, flash at your own risk!

Have fun.
Use 4.3 gapps.
Known issue, not all icons change with themes, and Phone app does not change with themes.
Awesome! Thanks for the efforts and hard work in providing this!
P.S.
The links to Weebo and Theme Editor aren't working.

I copied that first post directly from the original thread so not sure why the links are down.
After trying to port several different ROMs for several days, I was glad to see at least one work so far.

I forgot about the gapps, I'm uploading them now. I also found xda links for weebo and the theme-editor and updated them.
I saw this ROM on their thread and had wished for it to be ported to LS970! Haha crazy-awesome!! Thanks for the hard work!

Ok, so I have been using this ROM for the biggest part of the day (it's almost 6pm here). I have to say I am very impressed so far. It's Quick, Smooth and has just the right settings for me with the exception of Halo I do miss that! Also this is the only ROM (so far) I have used where I have notice the focus issue with the camera on my device. For now I just installed Camera ZoomFX (seeing I bought it ages ago) and that helped, later I am going to try the script and see what happens.
Q. Where can I find the option to turn DeBug on?
Peace,
running smooth so far. MMS, sending and receiving, incoming/outgoing calls, 4g, WiFi, but is there a way to get the 13mp back for the camera?

I'm sure there is. Like I said I hadn't made any tweaks or changes yet.
I have been aggressively trying to port 4.3 ROMs so that has been my primary focus. After that I am going to update nexOGen and then will get back to this.
Edit: This was a super easy quick port so glad to see its working so well.

My Experience
After using this pretty much since it was posted here, here is what I have experienced.
No Debug Option
Camera focus (as with most rom's)
Wifi is iffy (signal comes and goes)
Over heating (long idle times tend to cause this for some reason)
Lost of booting (See note)
NOTE: Losing the ability to be able to boot into the phone comes when I have 1) Used TWRP 2) Used USB to transfer files. I haven't been able to tell if it's when you do them in session or just one or the other causing problems period. Either way the phone pretty much does and all I can do is LGNPST.
I like the Avatar ROM, just think that it definitely needs more work done to it for the LGOG LS970, That's not to sound ungrateful in any way droidmk I am very thankful for your hard work.
Just wanted to share my experience.
Thanks,

It's all good man, I appreciate your comments. I'm sorry it's not better for you. Maybe I should get into building from source. Haven't dived into that yet. I'm completely new at all of this and just trying to do my best to contribute.

I can understand that, well I think you are off to a good start. Porting is prob. one of the better places to start and then move on to source? I am still using this ROM despite the issues I stated. I can't help but like the feel of it and the ability to customize everything (almost) from a single theme is awesome!
If I can be of any assistance to you (testing or whatever) feel free to holler.
Ok,
I was banging my head against a brick wall porting 4.3 so I went back to this to try to give you a better experience. Will have a new version up today.

Sounds good bro... I tried porting the 3.1 ver. I think it was, but couldn't get it past the boot animation... was my first attempt at porting/rom.
Thanks,
Changelog 3.1:
Changed base to spleef's liquid smooth ROM. (Seems to have fixed boot problem.)
Added adri's thermald tweak.
Added _Epic's and crwolv's camera mods.
Added lokifishmarz' GPS tweaks.
Added a bunch of build.prop tweaks.
Removed OTA updater, I will keep updated as best I can.
Will make this pretty and add it to OP later. Going to a movie.

I have been running this rom for about a day and this is coming from a dude who ran, cm7(latest nightly), glite, unity, virtuous sense, doubleshot and just about every other rom and My say on this Rom is that its very smooth to b a sense rom. Even though its only sense 2.1 I can deal with it. I haven't had any problems with it. The MMS size issue for tmobile phones that some of you are talking about is not present in this rom. You can recieve MMS perfectly fully sized. You might have to change the multimedia settings in the messaging app tho.

thanks for this rom! Honestly I thought this is just another laggy sense rom but this is so far the fastest sense rom i ever run. Virtuous is not fast enough, the official ota is not fast enough either, even with overclocking! This one makes me feel like running CM7, well not the same but very very close.
And it has trackpad wake built-in! This is definitely a killer feature. Message can be previewed in lock screen, it resembles the sense 3.0 appearance!
BTW this rom does have a mobile data access problem, you have to manually add your APN. I'm using this rom with rogers in canada. I can confirm that data works great after you add your APN. 4G sign on all the time.
The trackpad led is not working, which is expected cuz these 2 phones have different hardware.
And those T-mo things aren't that bad! I actually like the "faves" feature, looks very cool.
good job! I may stick with this and leave cm lol.

Downloads
myVision RC3.2 Download
Optional Downloads
Cyanogen's Development tools
Cyanogen's DSPManager
The following downloads are for testers only. If you download one of these files and flash it to your phone and something does not work right don't blame me. I am trying to get this rom finished but since I don't have the G2 anymore I am relying on you to help fix the issues.
Flash these files in recovery.
The first .zip is to hopefully enable the 4-way reboot options. download
Next is a .zip that should add more language support. download
I have pulled these two .apk's from CyanogenMod if for any reason I am requested to remove them I will do so. Until I recieve permission from Cyanogen I will not add them to the ROM but they are here for you as flashable zips.
Bugs
HTC FM radio is not working on RC3.1 - working on a fix now.
And if you would like to thank me for my work please feel free to buy me a beer donation link.
Changelog
myVision Final
Coming Soon.
Will be adding 4-way reboot (when I figure out how to do it)
Will be editing updater-script so that you aren't just looking at a blank screen while it is installing (again when I figure out how to do it.)
If you know how to do any of this and wouldn't mind teaching me I would appreciate it, I don't want someone to do it for me but I would love to learn how to do it for myself.
RC3.2 - 8/22/2011 - Current Version
Added TTS support
Made a few tweaks to make battery life even better.
RC3.1
Fixed Swype
Added HTC FM Radio
Changed name of phone from T-Mobile myTouch 4G to myVision
Moved as many of the apps as possible to the data/app/ folder so that they will be user uninstallable. Many apps won't work in this folder so the ones that won't are still in the /system/app/ folder and can be removed with ES File explorer if you choose to remove them.
RC3
Pre-installed XDA app, ES File Explorer, and Google Talk
A few changes in the build.prop should make it run even better.
Finally added new market so no need for the extra download
Added 3.0 themed swype with the white keyboard and the light blue trace. I can't seem to get the actual 3.0 to install it always says unlicensed. So I will work on that for the Final version.
RC2
Fixed FC problems with touch input when using physical keyboard
Added Swype
RC1
Baked in Virtuous Sense kernel from rmk40
Fixed landscape issues
Fixed backlight issues
Forgot to add new market, the apk will be in the downloads.
v1.1 - added maps, new market, removed swype (until I can figure out how to fix it.)
v1.0 - initial release

As long as the device you are creating a rom for comes with swype built in you can add it to your roms.

Ok guys I have been working on this all night and I finally got it going CORRECTLY. I tried to keep it as stock as possible so some of the bloatware is included some not. I will be uploading 2 versions in about an hour one with and one without. The homescreen does not rotate to landscape, but landscape works well now throughout the UI. I was able to fix the backlight issues on the keyboard and the touch buttons and now you no longer have to flash a different kernel, I finally learned how to use dsixda's kitchen and cooked it in. I still need to modify the build prop and the updater.script a little but it is working fine for now.
Has really nobody downloaded this? I thought it would be more popular.

I thought it would be grate to have a spot, were we clould ask questions to Clark44 about his Rom FreeGS3 v0.0.7 7-27-12
I am a realy Big fan since version 7 the Installer shows so much spunk!!!
I realy think keeping everything for Clark44 in one spot will help him in further creation of his rom.
After spending time with this rom all i can think about is how do I donate to keep it going?
I can not wait for the themes to come out for this Rom.
***First question Clark. May I use Setcpu and Ram Manager with your Rom?

I do not want to loose the abilty to save recoveries to my extSdCard. So I am afraid to switch from CWM version that i am using.
The question is, can we use the Goo Manager to download the zip then use the CWM to flash it ?
I am just not sure if it packed and repack the same way.
Youtube isn't working when I'm on the go, using my 3g. But it works fine when I connect to Wifi. Maybe I did something wrong or maybe it just my phone?

No S-Voice options please
The installer is very cool. This is now my goto build for installing modems, I can install them at install then update PRL with one build.
I can't live with S-voice though, it just can't call the people I want and... don't get me started on it.
I hoped choosing not to install the removed Samsung apps would include S-voice but I still get it when I make a BT voice dial.
Is there any way to have the option to not have S-voice and use Google voice instead?
Thanks!
Thanks for posting this thread! I can't post in the dev forums yet (too new) so I had no way to get into the conversation.
I've got two questions.
1. Is anyone using JuiceDefender with this Rom? I'm used to it from my Samsung Galaxy Epic, but I wasn't sure if it's needed on this ROM. I like some of the features (Location aware Wifi, etc) but maybe not if it's sacrificing battery.
2. (For Clark) On version .8, is there any way to build in some of the color/theme options from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28676439 ? I'm not a big fan of green, so I would love to change the colors of the battery and the 15 toggles...
Thanks!

Well, I think it depends on how you use your phone. For me at least, JuiceDefender has helped out TREMENDOUSLY. I live in an area with bad reception and I'm constantly going in and out of roaming. Having all my data turned off while I'm not using the phone really helps boost my battery life (and not having to do so manually is worth the $5 in my opinion).
Without JD I'm at about 10-15% when I get home from work (10 hr work days). With JD I'm at about 30% when I get home.
I guess everyone's mileage may vary, but if you've already bought JD you might as well try and see if it helps your battery life.
side note: I also love the night tint in JD
I've actually got a couple of questions with this ROM.
First, though, I have to say this is a phenomenal ROM. I initially flashed it solely as a stop-gap while waiting for CM10 to come out for my Sprint GSIII, but it quickly has become my daily driver.
So with the installer on the 0.0.7 version, there are multiple radios. Is there any advantage in flashing one of those, or just leaving it be? Also I really like the CRT animations and beats audio, but it wasn't there in the 0.0.7 version, so I just went with 0.0.6. Is there a way to get it on the 0.0.7 version or have those features been disabled? I went off the video review on youtube, linked but for some reason, on my version, little to no features were on mine compared to the review video. Is there a way to enable them on the newest version? Thanks.
It got lost on the main thread, but awesome beats will be back in .8 (he forgot to put it in .7) and crt was broken by Samsung

Nice thread you guys have going on here
As for themeing. Let me explain how im going to have this system setup at latest by v0.0.9.
I've done some research and finally found an app that will do the following:
1. Notify when update is available
2. Allow user to download themes, bootanimations, apps, flashables, all within the app and all supplied by me.
3. Allow the user to read the changelog of upcoming buids on the go.
The link to this app is here
Now i already started migrating the boot animation option i already finished in Aroma installer into this app and that should be done very soon. Themers will also be able to send me whatever they make and i can make it an option in the app!
This will benefit us in the following:
1. Aroma installer stays and installs kernels, modems, and mods
2. ROM size doesn't go up to 2GB when i add in all the themes ect. (Size will always be around 860)
3. Users can change their theme and UI mods on the go without having to reinstall the ROM.
I'm trying to make customization available without having to reinstall the entire ROM. This will give us the best of both worlds.
I'm working on this as we speak so I might dissapear from XDA for a little bit while i stay on my train of thought But in spite of everything...this is going to get a whole lot better.

Will CRT return in the 0.0.8 release? Also what is the deal with all the different types of radios in the aroma installer?

No on CRT, see back a page or two with a draft of the mods in next release.
The radio's are the different modems you can choose, there have been three releases (updates) and the original that came with the phone. That is what the radios are.

Are there any advantages/disadvantages in flashing a different modem to the phone? It seems to be a consensus that LF9 gives better signal, but I'm afraid for the drawbacks.
Downloading .8 now. Very excited.
Clark, I have a small request for .9.
Any chance you can add on my favorite bootanimation from my Samsung Epic days?
It's the third link found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033274
(I'm also a big fan of the blue shutdown animation, but that's not nearly as big of a priority.)
Thanks!
I don't see the video icon when using Google Talk. I used to have it before I flash 0.0.8. Any ideas, I can get it back? Thanks

Potluck JB is a CM10 build for the T-Mobile and Telus variants of the Hercules. Finally - kernel independence is buttery smooth and rock solid.
ALL thanks go to the CM team, TeamChopsticks, theDerekJay, and everyone cooperatively involved in the open-source movement. Potluck is just a stock build of the CM10 repo at this point, with a few cherry picks and other things added to achieve a nearly complete Jellybean ROM for the Hercules, hence the name.
Standard warning and disclaimer:
I take no responsibility if you use this ROM. It is experimental and appears to be solid, but use it at your own risk. Also be aware that this is a little side project I got into while I had some time off, and while I like the idea of compiling my own ROMware, I may not always have time to stay on top of it and/or continue to work on it. This is something to hold you over if you are drooling for a Jellybean release at this point. I will do my best to address bugs that are reported, or at least look into them, but this ROM is supplied without support.

You can pretty much feel confident in using this as a daily driver if you can overlook a few esthetic issues and the odd glitch. As of the posting date, I have been running it full time in a variety of reception environments with no random reboots or SOD's.
Key working feature list: (Known Issues are in post 2)
Camera/Video Recording
USB Mounting (Int/Ext)
Voice Recognition
Google Now
Secure Hotspot
Bluetooth Audio

Status bar notification icons for GoogleNow do not appear
NOTE: I get the impression that GoogleNow drains the battery a bit too much for my liking, so I've stopped using it. Someone else will need to test and comment on this, please.
Minor UI glitches, but nothing serious (IE: on USB Mass Storage on/off screen title)
Camera works for the first little while after a reboot if you do not use the Venom kernel, but is not reliable and can (and will) crap out at any time after that.
HIGHLY recommend running the ROM with the Venom kernel even though you don't absolutely have to. >> Fixed
Video recording does not work >> Fixed
Green overlay flash in camera, but it does not seem to affect anything >> Fixed
Hotspot only works in unsecured mode (eech...) >> Fixed
If you do have a bug to report, please give a little context info along with the bug. It's very difficult to understand out what "widget doesn't work" means on it's own.
Who, what, where, when, how, please.
I'll have to flash when I get home to try out. Thanks.

Thanks. Working just as advertised here. bdusmc, there's supposedly a new (old) camera app I think in that rookie thread that fixed the 'green screen'. I haven't tried it though.
Edit... here's the app. Looks like ICS camera. No green screen but still no camcorder. Still... good progress.
https://rapidshare.com/#!download|662p7|482181874|Camera-ICS+11d.apk|3184|0|0
Just DL and push to apps folder and install like normal. I've tested it and it works fine. Still no video though, but green screen is gone.

Hey, I was able to just install it like any other app - not sure if we are talking about the same app or not...
Also, you mentioned in the Rookie thread that there are only a couple of pic sizes in the stock app? I have 5 or 6 in mine, everything from VGA to 8MP... Can you double check yours?
Okay, to fix the UI Glitchy Animations, you need to change these files, in framework.jar, which you will have to baksmali, then re-smali. You can try with:
A) ICS Version' Certain Files.
B) From Another Phone With Exact CPU/GPU.
Files needed to be fixed:
smali\smali\android\os
Environment
SystemProperties
smali\smali\android\view
HardwareCanvas
HardwareRenderer$Gl20Renderer
HardwareRenderer$GlRenderer

If you point out where the glitches are, I can fix the source images and recompile to save people the trouble of decompiling, recompiling, etc... there's a few things I want to add into the new build anyways, so let me know.
No the hardware is not properly set up in there. So the UI glitches the animations.

Oh, I see... I thought you were talking about stuff like this (the red jellybean/title) which I am having a hard time tracking down the source of... grrr. I'm starting to wonder if it is a generated vector graphic or something - has anyone got any clue of where this is so it can be fixed? I looked in the SystemUI images but still haven't found it.

Yeah, I just tried playing some YouTube and recorded videos and they don't perform very well... Probably a buffer issue methinks. Didn't see any greenscreen issues though on my end... strange. Rotation was good and didn't crash anything though, which is cool.
Yea....its weird....of will turn green with stripes....then if I touch the screen it will go away....then a second or two later it comes back

Find any combination you like, scale and project apps, widgets and system components!
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel (same that allows you to scale apps individually and choose their interface). See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.
To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

If this is actually source compiled, that is the difference. The other one says so in the OP but further along he states it is a port and not compiled. As such, the threads are both in the wrong sections. This is original (you made it), his is not (he copied/pasted it).

Ahhh well fair enough then.
Also, Im going to include a link to my ATT thread that may answer any questions some of you may have.
The OP is properly Paranoid formatted. So I am behind this
If I may make a suggestion though? It was quite the scroll with those pictures. It would be nice if you would hide the some of them with the

For example,

This is an Android Jellybean 4.2.2 ROM, based on the sources of CyanogenMod10!
I used this ROM on my old Captivate and LOVED it. But I recently got an SGS2 and no Hellybean. So I had to port it for my device.
I then ported it for my friend to use on his d2tmo, and I decided to share it with you all.
All Credits and any Thanks or Donations go to DerTeufel1980 as Hellybean is his baby. (And not the only one, congrats on becoming a daddy.) Allot of this OP is copied direct from his page. And Cyanogen as well, I used his Excellent nightly as base.
Please do not ask in their respective threads for support.
Differences to cm10.1:
- facebook sync integrated
- option to enable high end gfx effects, on lower end devices
- possibility to disable high end gfx effects, on higher end devices
- possibility to activate and customize navigation bar (color of background, glow effect, transparency)
- possibility to customize statusbar (color of background, transparency)
- transparent lockscreen (taken from paranoid android, coded by jesus david)
- edge swipe navigation (ported from sgt7)
- ability to enable tablet_ui (ported from aokp)
- kill-all button at recents panel (ported from aokp)
- task manger button at recents panel (this needs os monitor to be installed, otherwise nothing happens...still wip)
- customizable long-press-back-kill timeout (from 500ms to 3000ms)
- option to use sense4 recents panel --- May be removed?
- pdroid patched, if app installed, reachable at: settings --> system --> security
- added the possibility to search for contacts by nick or company name (with dialpad T9, has to be activated at dialpad settings), cherry-picked from AOKP
- and much more.
BUGS
- None.
- You tell me?

Thanks for all the fast input. Camera fix is in OP.
I am trying to keep it as stock Hellybean as possible, and I don't have this device. Which makes this all that much easier. Was porting it for a friend because I love the ROM so much. I added my wallpaper to the 0404 build hope you don't hate it to much
Here screenies of Quicktiles he added today/yesturday.
Next release I'll compile CM10.1 base from source. I already compile Toro, and Hercules, whats one more. Hellybean usually updates every week to 10 days, sometimes more sometimes less. I hope you all like this Port and we can fix any glitches together as I do not own a SGS3. The Bluetooth has me stumped. It's is broken in my Hercules port as well. In base CM10.1 Bluetooth is fine...I don't use BT but I know allot of people do, so hopefully someone here will have an idea for a fix.

I noticed that BT is borked for all CM10.1 (4.2.2) roms in one fashion or another (either BT media doesn't work right or I've had BT Calls just hang up the entire ROM until you shut the handsfree device off). I've seen this behavior in multiple CM10.1 ports for the T999, sadly. You mention this (BT) works fine in CM10.1 base? Are there any known ports of the same that carry this working functionality over?
Great ROM, btw!

Keep getting a random pop up "invalid int Hellybean 20130403". Any ideas what that means?

Means I messed something up lol. I think I know what I did. I need to get myself an SGS3 would make this allot more fun and easier. I will look into it and post a fixed one tomorrow. The idea I had to fix BT was a bad one. Running on too little sleep ATM but I am off and will deal with it when I wake up today.
I woke up and noticed Hellybean had another new release. I ported it over left camera fix in, That popup message should be gone. I do not have the ability to test so please someone let me know.
I just put a d2spr port in OP maybe it will fix BT. Again, please let me know. Any feedback is helpful, good, bad, ugly...
Thank you
I removed the older ports. I was told newest port has working Bluetooth. Let me know if anything else is wrong please and thank you.
I guess no news is good news??
Well more than a few have download it, some must have flashed. What are your thoughts? How is it running on the d2tmo? Speed, smoothness, any problems so far? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks for the nice ROM. I notice one thing that every now and then I get a pop-up "Hellbean int: then the version number" what is that mean?

Not sure what I did wrong maybe used a base that was a bit older or newer than the ports, never seen it with my sgs2 port that I run as a DD. I believe the 4/6 doesn't have that issue. Not 100% sure on that since I don't own a SGS3 to try it.

Is that happening on the port I posted 4/6? If so, is everyone having this issue? You 2 are the only real feedback I have seen here.
Curious to those running it how is the speed and smoothness in comparison to other 4.2.2 ROM's/Ports? It just fly's on my SGS2.
3+ days: zero pop up, no single FC, stable, excellent GPS lock, getting Google voice MMS via Gmail,
Nice work!
Ok, I have a couple questions.. This SGS3 forum is not at all like the SGS2 which can be a little crazy at times. I can see how many have downloaded my port, which is quite a few, but I really haven't gotten much input. Do you all like it? Are enough of you using this to make it worth my time to port a Hellybean update? I mean porting is not hard to do, and does not take that much time. But its hard to judge if I am just wasting my time here.
Thanks
No I dont think your wasting your time you have me right. Jk but either of the case thanks for your work bud its greatly appreacated so dont worry no news is good news look at baked its hardly got any thing in it so dont fret k
