I answered you in one of the other couple threads you asked this. No one here knows when the tot will arrive. It's not something that is scheduled or announced.
It isn't necessary at this point anyway. The ZVE tot is available and the ZVG update is easily side loaded.

[Q] PB99IMG.zip not found by HBOOT?

Hi,
so I managed to S-off my Desire using Revolutionary. But now I would like to change the HBOOT.
So I put the PB99IMG.zip file on the root of the SD card and boot the phone holding Volume Down + Power, next the message '... PB99IMG.zip not found ...'
Why does this happen? What can I do?
Grtz
is it definitely named PB99IMG.zip in capitals? Is it definitely not ending .zip.zip?
Alternatively try "Android Flasher". Not saying it's better, but it's a workaround.
I'll say its better
yeah, it's all in caps. :s
But i'll check out android flasher tomorrow, thanks guys!

No but I was about to download a new table from Alpharev in this zip format and change my table sizes for more data space. Thought of asking this in order to know what to do if I also happen to run into the same problem.

Its usually something to do with the file name. itmust be exactly "PB99IMG.zip" not "pb99img.zip" or "PB99IMG.zip.zip"
You'd be surprised how many people have that last one.

You can always just try it yourself, there's no danger if the file isn't found.

Can I run this in Ubuntu 11.10? Maybe in Wine or something? My dual boot isn't working anymore
Hmm wouldn't trust wine with something this important. You can just drop the fastboot file into ubuntu and use the commands from the fastboot faq in my signature. If you can wait an hour, ill upload the fastboot file and tell you where to put it...
Then from a terminal just type the command. Dead easy
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Not sure about ubuntu. Just follow rootSU's advice, he's more knowledgeable than I am.

I fixed the problem, don't know why, but I just reformatted the SD card (with Gparted, exactly the same as I did the first time). And now the PB99IMG file was recognized, so I was able to install the new HBOOT.
I would stil like to have the fastboot file though, I've been looking all over the place for it!
Thanks again everyone.
Grtz
Its here, go into this link then right click, save as
http://www.mattman.org/rootsu/rootSU/not_for_download/
drop it in /usr/bin then you never need cd to a directory to run it.
Thanks! Should come in handy one of these days...
Grtz!
Yes it will

VS985 Wont UPDATE after Flashing to 10b and rooting

I flashed my VS985 to from 12b to 10b using the KDZ method then i rooted with stump root.
after that I attempted to update to 12b but it says its up to date but it is still on 10b.
I then attempted to use the LG Upgrade Assistant Via USB but that doesn't even show my phone in menu it runs a detection then nothing it just highlights close.
Is there any reason why my phone wont upgrade?
I think I remember reading that the KDZ method used a pre-release version of 10b that had an issue with updates. In order to update from 10 b, the TOT method was better.

I was reading that in the other thread. Sorry that didn't work.
I Figured it out..
1) Download your update file that you need for instance 10b_to_11c.up from http://downloads.codefi.re/illegalargument/LG_VS985/
2) Move the file you are going to update with in my instance 11c.up to /cache/fota/
3) Rename 10b_to_11c.up to dlpkgfile (there may already be one in the so just add .bak to the old one)
4) adb into your device and run the following commands:
adb shell
su
am start -n com.lge.VerizonHiddenMenu/com.lge.VerizonHiddenMenu.fota.DmcEzUpdateStart
It should Restart and run the update
where is this can not find it to put file in it /cache/fota/

Download from link, move file to folder where you keep said types of files, rename from 10b to 11c.up, run adb from there and follow above instructions. Are you planning to use Stock with Xposed? I personally stayed on 10b and just flash the 12b modem zip if required....

The phone isn't rooted though it's s-off thru sunshine and that's it
take the OTA.zip from somewhere, unzip it and the the firmware.zip.
You only need the android-info.txt from your current firmware.
Take out ALL .img files, download TWRP and rename it recovery.img zip it with android-info.txt into a 2PS6IMG.zip
Put this on your external SD card, shut down the phone. press volume down + Power.
Press volume up (IIRC, might also be down, its written on the screen) to flash the file.
done.

if you can acces to recovery, the only thing you can do is adb sideload ...bin
with an original stock ROM for your fire phone
(.bin must be the extension of the file, that you can get from official amazon site)
