I used the LG Flashtool to revert my D851 back to stock last night. It is on 10c (4.4.2) and every time I try to force an update check, it says that it is already up to date. Thinking that it could just take a little bit of time to pull the OTA I waited all day today checking periodically to see if it can pull the OTAs. I have reverted my phone back to stock on a number of occasions and it always pulled the OTAs without a problem, not sure why it isn't this time? Any suggestions?

Yes, Yes, and Yes.
I just downloaded the LG PC Suite which allows you to update your phone via computer. Initially it says "Software upgrade available", then it switches to say "Your device has the latest software available from the LG Mobile Support Tool". I am running D85110C which is the base build with the TOT file.

This morning my Razr M received the latest OTA update. I was previously rooted with a locked bootloader (I know, bad choice).
I proceeded with the update but my phone massively screwed up: lost wireless, contacts malfunctioned, several apps failed.
I went through all the steps to clear cache, soft reset, hard reset, etc. Ever sense my phone has been stuck on the setup wizard screen stating "Please wait, this may take a few minutes". I left this morning at noon returned home at 7 and it is still on that screen.

Try using RSD to restore to the same version (4.4.2). I've gotten that wireless issue before, and I just had to format userdata and reinstall the update to get it working.
just roll back to orginal firmware by using RDS and after that, use OTA update
Hi all!
I just got my T-Mobile G3 today. I immediately rooted it using StumpRoot and then proceeded to start ripping out TMobile & LG bloatware.
I saw the OTA update which after some research must be D85110M. It seemed reasonable so I went ahead and hit update, planning to reroot afterwards. I looked back to my computer.
About 5 minutes later, I look down, only to find my phone rebooted. I go to system settings, and notice that my build version is still D85110C, which is what my G3 came with. In addition, the OTA update notification is nowhere to be found. I have tried going into settings and searching for a new update, but it appears my phone thinks the update was installed, but it clearly has not been. I cannot imagine there was any errors in the process, as it should have just ran while plugged in.
Any ideas?
Hi All,
Last week I received a system update for my Nexus 7 for Lollipop. At that time I didn't want to update so I dismissed the notification. The problem is that I can't get it to re-appear. I've already tried to check for updates 100 times over a couple of days. I've also cleared the Google Play Services and then check for updates, but didn't work.
Is there a simple way to get the update notification again?
Thank you for your help!
Yes, wait for the OTA to become available again. There's a possibility that the latest OTA (5.0.1) was pulled and is no longer available. If you really want the update, download the firmware from Google and flash it manually.
Edit: someone got the notification today. So who knows why you haven't received the notification.
I thought one you dismiss the notification and don't take the update you go back to the end of the queue - so it could be weeks before you get it again.
Happened to me as well. Got the notification last week for 5.0.1, didn't update but didn't dismiss it either. After a couple of days it just disappeared and so far hasn't shown again.
I'm still waiting on 5.0 here. Getting annoyed and was looking for sideload update options but if other people are still waiting on it I guess I'll hold off a bit longer.
If you're now running a modified stock rom, you will most likely have issues updating with the OTA. Here's a way to update without having problems or waiting for the OTA with no loss of data: Download the rooted rom from Scrosler found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex.../rom-factory-stock-rooted-rom-lrx22c-t2960745 , use Wugfresh's NRT 1.9.9 to update the bootloader that's also mentioned in Scrosler's thread, and then dirty flash (no wipes) the 5.0.1 rom with TWRP.

Stop waiting and do it manually. Why is everyone so consumed with sideloading? You can flash the latest firmware in fastboot without losing anything.
When I lost my update (long story) it took 3 days to come back. A little less than I was expecting but still a little more than I wanted. I'd expect you'll get it back in 2-3 days.
Same here! But will download it now instead. Tierd of waaiting
I upgraded from a stock rooted 4.4.2 to the OTA 5.0 using the ROM that was rooted. Some apps for my smart watch don't work in 5.0 yet, so I went TWRP and restored my backup. After booting, the phone will not get any service at all. It shows it's searching for service then gives a red "x" then starts searching again. This is process that just keeps going. I flashed the stock .tot file using the LG flash tool to get the phone completely back to stock. After doing so, the radio still won't get service. I then applied the OTA push of 5.0. After 5.0 was installed, the radio gets service without any issues. I used the LG flash tool again to go back to 4.4.2 stock and same issue; no service. Updated again to 5.0, and I get service. Any ideas on what's happening here? Is it the firmware for the radio that's having issues?
I was able to fix this by playing with the APN settings and it was able to get service, but no data. I then went back to the default t-mobile APN setting and now it works.
Same Issue
After using lg update tool to go to new 5.0 update, I put twrp back on and flashed cm12 and bliss pop rom on mine and service 100% drops out and only came back after a battery pull or a reboot, e tried to re-install roms on both and after having the same issue with the roms i tried a custom kernel issue went away and then came back, so i haven't tried AOSP since the t mobile said they'd send me another brand new phone ....but once i put everything back to OEM using the lg tool it's been 100% working again with no issues... i will try AOSP when the new phone gets here,, im thinking its kernel related
You need the new modem, boot loader, and boot images. You can't simply just flash a ROM unless all 4 (system included) is packaged as so
I have, apparently, one of those sw3's that will not accept the MM OTA so that the watch will work after is successfully installs. I am having to reinstall the LCA43 ROM in order to get the watch to work. While I would like to have MM, I can't seem to find the right ROM to install and XC is no help in either the software repair or update. The issue is when MM is on the watch, it continually stops at the 4 dots or symbols and never goes any further. I am using Ubuntu to connect to the watch for repair.
Is there a way to stop the OTA updates while still being connected to the phone via BT? I was happy to get this watch going again, but was disappointed this morning when it tried to boot in MM without me installing it.
Edit: This may be resolved. I installed a different ROM yesterday, 5.1.1.2, and it did not automatically try to upgrade last night so I may be good to go.
