S Health & ANT+ - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4

I am attempting to connect a Heart Rate Monitor USA to be used with S Health. It is a chest strap monitor that use Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) and ANT+. S Health register the device as a ANT HRM 47906 but I can not get the app to see the monitor. Any help in connecting is appreciated. The HRM says on box that it works with S Health.
Thanks

Have you gone into the S Health App, tapped on MORE in the upper right hand corner, selected Accessories, and looked for and select your device in the list that comes up under Partner accessories?

Yes I have done just that and it register the device but I don't a heart rate from it. Thanks

[Q] Control SNG from a pc

I want to control my samsung galaxy nexus via my pc but I dont need display I just need to use the keyboard and mouse.
Let me tell you why....
I currently have a spare monitor and I have connected my Samsung galaxy Nexus to it via an MHL adaptor but I would like to use my pc mouse and keyboard to do stuff on it and then just change back to pc when I want.
Anyone know any tools to do this?
Thanks
Bluetooth keyboard and mouse is the best option.
Try free AirDroid which lets you use many features of your phone including texting and managing apps via your browser on a PC as long as you're on the same network.

I had been using Droid VNC Server in the past, however it doesn't seem to support ICS. knoxbrder seems to be very close to having a working version for the Galaxy Nexus, you can take a look at this thread for some details.
Once this is running, you can run vncviewer on a Linux system, or download RealVNC for Windows and access your phone when it's on your WiFi network.

LMAO Are you going to hook your microwave up to a monitor as well? How about your toilet? Maybe you can get to the point where everything you own from phone, to coffee maker, to wrist watch has its own monitor. Clearly you need to get out more brah
I've found the remotely controllable phone-to-TV connection very useful. My old TV didn't have Pandora support so I used to hook up my X to it so I could listen via my sound system speakers. I now have a Google TV with a Pandora client, but with a dumb monitor you can also throw in Netflix and Amazon video to turn it into a smart TV. Or just turn the phone into a mini-desktop, it's already just a pocket computer.
i have been pretty disapointed with android options in this department.
i had veency running like a charm on my iphone, but nothing for android. and most of the vnc/rdp programes in market are not what they claim to be.

Find watch app using GPS?

Is there an app available that can be used to find the watch using GPS? I would like to use the watch and app to locate my bike if stolen.

Sadly, this is not possible until WiFi is enabled on the watch...
Right now, the watch's only connection to the outside world is via bluetooth connected to your phone. Once you leave the range, the watch has no connection to anything out there; it has no way to beam its location to another device (unless you come back in range). Now, when WiFi is turned on, it MIGHT be possible, but your watch would have to be connected already to a nearby hotspot, which is very unlikely away from home or the office.
Your best bet would be a GPS tracking module - basically, a GPS chip and cellular radio (and battery) that can be easily attached to the bike, and connected to remotely via cellular broadcast.
Thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking by thought I would give it a shot.

OSMaps for Android wear will give you offline maps for wear! Just download the city to your phone, then to the watch and now you can see where you are on the map, look around all while being offline, without any phone! Great app and just request a new city if yours is missing and dev will add it in like 2 days!
Called OSM City Maps for Android Wear

uninstall et re install the Wear OS app on phone to clear all data from watch. On watch settings "dissocier le téléphone" (in your langage) and in phone BT device (if registred) un pair SW3.
After launch wear OS (not search BT BT device) and select "new watch" Wear OS must find the SW3.

how to uninstall & re install Wear OS?
would you provide links & guide?
There are many ways..... but one simple way is to go on PlayStore and search "WearOS". When you click on the app in the store you have 2 buttons : "Uninstall" and "Open" (or "update" if you have not the last version).

Some watches can not be "discoverable" by the BT system on the phone but an Android App can discover the watch. Often I can not see my Watch on BT phone device when I search, but when I launch the "Wear OS" app on the phone the app discover and setup the watch. Only after that, I can view the watch on the BT phone list. Idem for some Fitbit device, not seeing in BT list but Fitbit App found the device.

WearOS on the phone can detect watches that are not detected by BT phone device. Even if the phone do not detect, WearOS can detect.
Just wanted to change my SW3 from my xperia Z5C and pair with my Pocophone F1.
Reinit SW3 and forget on Z5C, add to WearOS on Pocophone. SW3 can not be found on the Pocophone. Impossible to pair and setup on Pocophone. I power on the xperia Z5C and the SW3 is found immediatly on the Z5C. New phone seem not really compatible with old device like SW3
Hi,
I have the same issue, and cannot seem to find any solution for it. Reinstalling wear OS did not helped either

[QUESTION] Watch GT2e Surf and Climbing

Hi,
I´m thinking to buy a Watch GT2e because it has a lot of sport modes, but I would like to know what parameters it measure on surf and climbing mode
Does it show specific parameters for each sport or it just show the same parameters for all sport?
Has anybody tested that modes?
Thanks
Floors / meters climbed
Hello, I recently purchased a Huawei Watch GT2. I am more than happy with it, but there is something that annoys me.
The watch counts the elevation "climbed" in meters. It registers it in the Huawei Health App in "My Data".
But why doesn't it show it in the health front page?
Why doesn't it show in the watch menus?
There even could be some watch faces that would use it as a goal to accomplish.
This is sad because even the GT2 is better in everything else, lets Fitbit and Garmin take advantage of this feature.
Anybody has found a workaround? I hope Huawei, you are reading this post.... and think about adding this feature
Thank you,
Francisco

It shows same parameters for almost all sports, unfortunately.

Question Honor watch ES not showing connected in bluetooth.

Hello. I have an Honor watch ES. The watch is connected to the device as it shows in the health app, and it functions all good (including notifications). But in the bluetooth settings of the device (Mi 11X- India), the watch is nowhere to be seen. I can not see the watch as any device nor does the mobile shows the icon as connected. Does anyone know what can be done or what am I doing wrong? For other bluetooth devices, the mobile shows and works fine and the watch shows and works fine on other mobile.¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯.
Screenshots attached.
Thanks in advance.
