[Q] Quick Keyboard Switching? - One (M9) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering if there is a way to quickly change keyboards (i.e. without schlepping all the way into settings).
I remember my M7 had this before I lost it. An icon in the notifications settings showed which keyboard was used and allowed changing it. I ask because I primarily use two languages (English and Spanish) but occasionally need to use others and need to switch to another keyboard due to a variety of reasons (like possible better prediction, missing characters/accents, better bluetooth keyboard support) and I find that I really miss this ability on the M9.
Does anyone know how of a way to get this back or an alternative way of doing it quickly?

[Help] Change hardware keyboard key

Ok so Winmo supports having multiple hardware keyboards installed, lets say for instance 409 - english and 411 - japanese. I know you can switch between these two by pressing ctrl+shift or shift+ctrl, but on a lot of new HTC phones with touch only there is no way to do this bar installing an additional SIP.
So I have a few ideas I'm trying to resolve this, but don't know the answer to the following questions:
1) Is there a way to have winmo automatically call up a different keyboard when switching SIP?
2) Is there a way to reassign the switch keyboard hotkey to something more accessible on a touch only phone?
I realize you can only have one keyboard preload at a time and know the registry settings for that, but can't figure out how to change the toggle.

[REQ] Automatically change input method when keyboard is opened

Here's something that I think would really make many people's lives a lot easier!
CyanogenMod now supports many languages for the stock soft keyboard which is very nice. However when using the stock keyboard as the input method, when the keyboard is opened, it is only possible to type in English (as far as I'm aware). However using other input methods like AnySoftKeyboard it is possible to type in the currently used language (ASK even allows changing languages on the fly with Alt+Space)
But, many of these 3rd party keyboards are not thumb friendly and uncomfortable to use in On Screen Keyboard mode.
So a very useful thing would be a program that automatically sets the input method to a predefined option when the keyboard is opened/closed. So for example I open the keyboard and it auto changes to AnySoftKeyboard, then I close it and it changes back to stock keyboard.
Unfortunately I can't program but if anyone can make this I'm sure it'll be useful to many people.
Looks like I missed Keyboard Manager, very nice software that does this. Thank you ne0fhyk for making this.
Of course it would be nice if this was built-in into the CyanogenMod ROM for a more streamlined solution.
Mods can lock this if they wish

[Q] Is there a keyboard that also has a quick text option?

Hello everyone, quick question. Does anyone know of a keyboard for the Evo that has a built custom text option. And by this, I mean something like a list that I quickly pull up to enter into a text field anywhere in the phone (sms, internet browser, etc). I had a windows phone prior to the Evo and they had few KB that I was able to make a custom list of common words, usernames, etc that was easily accessible. Any help is greatly appreciated
Keyboards, I don't know, but I know that handcent lets you input and select quick messages for texts; you can use the preset or create your own.
Thanks for the response. Is this a feature that is only good for adding into sms or will it work in other parts of the phone (like the internet browser)? If it is the latter i might check it out. THanks

Keyboard shortcuts for Bluetooth keyboard users?

Hi - so I bought an apple keyboard and it works, well, for the most part at least.
The lack of shortcuts (ctrl+v, etc) makes it very limited for productivity app.
Anyone knows if these could be configured, even manually?

[Q] How to turn off personal dictionary (LG Keyboard)

Hello,
I like the G3's keyboard, but I can't seem to disable the personal dictionary. I don't want it to save every word I type. Is there a way to disable this and still keep the built-in word prediction without personal words?
Thanks!
