[Share][Android 4.4.2]CyanFox 2.0.2

Since i have not seen any threads ralated to this ROM and so i've thought that many would be interested to know that there is another 4.4.2 android build available for our beloved Optimus G.

I've just installed CyanFox and I am quite impressed by it's overall smoothness and responsiveness. I pleasantly found out that there are many personalization options including halo.
+working DSP manager and 13mp camera(which should be no surprise)

Being this ROM based in CM I believe that MHL don't work, can someone confirm?

Please share some screenshots and more information about ROM.

There are also 4.4.2 build of Vanir and Commotio for E975.
It would be handy to have one general thread for sharing all the info about new ROMs, since dev boards are rarely updated by developers.

+1. It's nice to see a Somorgasbord for ROMs for E975. Specially KitKat ROMs.

Does this ROM have a OFFICIAL page? Or does this ROM becomes updated regularly?

There's also a JellyBam kitkat rom for our e975.

I have to say, this is an awesome daily drive for me. After 2 days of use, i havent seen any problems. And now i also use cyanfox on my nexus 7.
If you are "waiting" for an official LG update, you should try this out in the meantime. You wont regreat it

Are there partitions changes in 4.4, this rom specifically? I'm currently using liquid smooth 4.3 rom, what steps should be taken to install this rom?

I have just installed it. There are no partition changes, so no data was lost. GPS works great, whole system feels very snappy.
There is 13mp option in camera, but image is then stretched vertical, on 8mp setting everything is fine. same result with Vsco cam app (also it crashes), with Focal app its ok on 13mp. Also there is no photo sphere. Gonna try some camera apps from nexus devices, see how it goes.

Anyway, I have just installed Bam rom, and the problem with camera that stretches 13mp image is also present on this rom.

For me this is the best kk rom for e975. Everything runs nice and smooth. No battery drain... will stay on this for a while.
Noticed small "bugs":
- custom led color notifications are not working, it's always yellow-green
- after restart there is navigation bar and have to turn it on/off and then it's ok

Hi, I have a problem with network settings. Phone starts up with LTE/GSM and I have not network with this. If I change to WCDMA preferred with *#*#4636*#*# it is ok. When I restart phone it is again set to LTE/GSM. Any possibilty to change permanently?

It may be stretched when you open the app but when you focus it seems to sort itself out

They can both work side by side.

I have tried gravitybox (LP) amd it does not have this option

I am starting this thread anticipating the release of LP to our device. As we all know with the new 5.x.x release there are some bugs and new ways we have to mod things, most especially Xposed and the modules we use for our G3. I want this to be a place where you can ask questions, post information, and assist with anything TMo LP related.

Don't know about the G3 although it should be fine, but Viper4android is working on LP. I installed it on my step son's N4..

Am I the only one that doesn't have a profile icon in the status bar? If I'm not how am I supposed to enable it?

This L radio has been.... Interesting. My signal in the boondocks is better, but I'm having a much harder time getting Lte in places I've had no issue before. Wifi seems weaker too.

Yeah I think the only way to switch profiles is still through guest mode(not like other LP devices) so nothing there has changed.. I'm doing fine with data and wifi, issue I have is starting this morning I couldn't turn BT on from the statusbar toggle until I rebooted. I clean installed and started everything over too.
Plus so far battery seems a little worse..which has been reported across the board on G3's running stock LP

How To Get Viper4Android Working On 5.0.1 D851 (My Experience)
As the title states this is how you can get Viper4Android soundmod working.
·Download and install the Viper apk for 4.4/5.x you can choose version 2.3.3 or 2.3.4(I have a modded version called Lolliviper) (Not my work, you can google it).
·Download and install SELinux mode changer from the Playstore.
·Open Developer options under system settings and uncheck "Use NuPlayer".
·Open SELinux mode changer app and change to permissive.
·Open Viper and install your prefered driver (I use Superior quality).
·Reboot
·Upon reboot make sure SELinux is still set to permissive.
·Open Viper and enable.
·Open your music app and select a song.
·Open Viper select menu and the driver status. You should have all YES.
I have tested this on Google Music and the stock player. There are a lot of guides out there for this. Most suggest flashing libs and build prop tweaks. None of that was necessary for me. This is the exact way I set it up.

I meant how do you survive with it, lol. It's a little too close to comic sans for me. I do wish the stock rom had better font choices.

Idk I like it.. It is still legible, not cartoony, and not too bland. I don't like any of the stock fonts. I haven't found a font that I like yet that covers every area of font.

. If you hate the lollipop nav bar icons like me, I found a way to get the home, recent, and back buttons back. You can use kickoffs nav bar theme. I wouldn't recommend installing anything else from his thread... Trust me.

Yeah, the update sucks. Also removed the tap-the-statusbar to go to top of the list function.

Launch any app with the screen off gestures

I have made a mod for the oneplus one. And since i think these devices have much in common I'm curious if the mod works on the find7 as well.
Is there anyone who wants to try it?

First of all - if anybody with Find 7 is to flash this, he will probably have a custom ROM and it does not have to be CM.
Your zip is obviously for CM ROM. I am using OmniROM with Android 7.1 at the moment.
I flashed it and found out it is not working at all. Altought, it does add the options to settings panel.
Setting any option does not do anything and checking Haptic feedback for any action causes crash.

When I flashed the Omni version you have in your original thread (after I removed the OnePlus related checks) the settings options were not there at all - it is in Settings - Device Features.
1. Setting app for Camera gesture works.
2. Clicking on setting vibrator strength causes crash.
And I might be wrong, but it seems that flashing that zip messed up my "menu button one-click".
I do not get any menu popups anymore. Even when I put the original version back..

I can't add gestures to a rom that doesn't have them by default because that would require a kernel change and I'm not capable (yet) to implement "new" gestures. Currently I don't have the time nor interest in learning how to change a kernel. So if your device doesn't have gestures I'm afraid I cant be of any help. I only alter what gestures do not add them or create custom ones.

If you are talking those off screen gesture features which comes in OPPO phones mostly (like draw C to open camera or draw M to open music app ) then these kind of features "by default" we dont have in any stock or custom rom But
if Double to tap wake screen (D2W) feature is enough to work your mod on my device then yes we do have this thing in all ROMs by default(kernel enabled )....,,
