Hey guys,
Already done a search but no luck (have only seen people asking/writing about configuring and individual contact settings.)
Does someone, or could someone give me a zip of the default HTC Desire ringtones and notification sounds? I'm running OpenDesire 3.0.2 and I'm quite used to some of the sounds of the default HTC Desire build.
Thanks!
+1 please!

As I was advised in another thread, if you download a Sense ROM for the Desire, you'll find the ringtones in one of the folders.
Okay I searched the forum and maybe my terms weren't spot on but I couldn't find exacly what I was looking for, so if this thread is another drop in a sea of spam my apologies.
I recently flashed the AuraXTsense ROM on my Desire and it comes preinstalled with the genie widget. I wanted the transparent version so I downloaded the .apk and I tried to instal it with the application manager, unsuccessful and I'm sure it's not even the right way to go about about change a widget.
I also read somewhere of a adb I don't know if that's what I need but if any could send me a tutorial for adb, or to modify a preinstalled ROM app widget (or any kind of widget from any app) it would be really appreaciated.
thank you very much in advance
PS: I'm kinda new at this whole android thing sorry if my question may sound silly to some older member

just flash the new alpharev s-off in the developent section, then use a file manager to replace the .apk in /system/app/ with the new one using a file explorer
I read about the alpharev s-off but I didn't think it would actualy be needed (I thought it was only for people who couldn't root their phone) I wil check it out thank you
Hi, I'm sorry if this is a silly question. But how do I install Themes for the xperia arc S. I found a few themes that I would like to install, what should I do ? Do I need to download them into my phone ? or can I download them directly into my SD card? I'm sorry but I'm really new to android and dont want to take any risks in breaking my device. thanks i advance.
anyone ? just point me towards the thread and ill read it myself. thanks
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1213888
I suggest start here..
download the themes, extract, copy to sdcard, then install the apks
hope this helps
Look around or use the search function, dude.
It's not hard to find articles like that and wait before posting again.
I dont get it, I'm reading some of the guides here to install themes and they sounds complicated with replacing files and setting permissions. On the other hand, I browsed the web out of this forum and found out that I can simply install ADW Launcher and download themes very easily that way. What are the differences between these 2 methods ?
Replacing makes it inbuilt while awd launcher overwrites i.e. It's above default inbuilt theme. For the first method, you need to root your phone and need a root explorer.
Feel free to write if you are not aware .
Press thanks

Hello,
recently I installed the Kezra V4 ROM. In General everything is working fine and good, but if I want to set up a new Alarm with my own .mp3 files it says that the Android package 'myfiles' is missing ('Application package com.sec.android.app.myfiles not found').
After that I realised that it was removed or something.
Is there any posible way to change the default file browser or any fix for it?
Apparently i can't post a screenshot though, because I just registered here.
Greetings
ralph

Thanks, I've searched for something like that.
Edit: worked perfectly!
Hi -
I am posting today to request that someone provide the download link for all the Windows Phone 7 sounds, notifications and ringtones.
I would prefer these sound files to be extracted from an up to date STOCK ROM for Windows Phone 7.
If you can do this for me, I'll upload all the HTC/Windows Mobile STOCK ringtones/alerts from years ago.
Nevermind - Want something done, you have to do it yourself.
You forgot to say "please".
Hi -
My apologies, I figured if I have something in return the please isn't necessary as it would be a trade.
But, thanks for the reminder,
So I will ask politely, will someone out there who has access to the stock sounds please archive them up and share them?
Thank you!

Also, this is a question/request, which doesn't belong in Development.
I see you have another thread now, so I'll go ahead and close this one.
