Hey guys,
Already done a search but no luck (have only seen people asking/writing about configuring and individual contact settings.)
Does someone, or could someone give me a zip of the default HTC Desire ringtones and notification sounds? I'm running OpenDesire 3.0.2 and I'm quite used to some of the sounds of the default HTC Desire build.
Thanks!
+1 please!
just donwnload a sence rom and take them out of the .zip

As I was advised in another thread, if you download a Sense ROM for the Desire, you'll find the ringtones in one of the folders.

Okay I searched the forum and maybe my terms weren't spot on but I couldn't find exacly what I was looking for, so if this thread is another drop in a sea of spam my apologies.
I recently flashed the AuraXTsense ROM on my Desire and it comes preinstalled with the genie widget. I wanted the transparent version so I downloaded the .apk and I tried to instal it with the application manager, unsuccessful and I'm sure it's not even the right way to go about about change a widget.
I also read somewhere of a adb I don't know if that's what I need but if any could send me a tutorial for adb, or to modify a preinstalled ROM app widget (or any kind of widget from any app) it would be really appreaciated.
thank you very much in advance
PS: I'm kinda new at this whole android thing sorry if my question may sound silly to some older member

just flash the new alpharev s-off in the developent section, then use a file manager to replace the .apk in /system/app/ with the new one using a file explorer
I read about the alpharev s-off but I didn't think it would actualy be needed (I thought it was only for people who couldn't root their phone) I wil check it out thank you
Hey mates,
unfortunately my Desire deleted the entries in settings-tone
After some restarts most of the standard ringtones and my own ones are back, but the one called "standard_ringtone_ " and a number (if I remember correctly) is missing. It was set from start as SMS, email, aso. notificationtone. Where can I get it from?
I tried the HTC e-club and also to extract it from an original ROM, but I can't open it as it's an exe...
Can anyone upload the file for me or link me an RUU that doesn't consists of an .exe and where I can extract it from.
Maybe the notification tone is also ROM based so maybe it's limited to the T-Mo UK ROM
*push
Ey mates, I need to push this again as I am used to the ringtone
It's exact name is "receive_message_128" and it was within my ROM (stock T-Mo UK)
Can please someone with the same ROM search for it and upload it on some hoster or here to the forum?
hi everybody...
i m a HTC desire user, and yesterdat bought my htc desire hd. i just want to know that is there anyway to change the battery icon and make it to show the percentage of the battery and can we also change the boot screen, like we do on desire with the help of circle.olx.com.
right now i m trying to learn the rooting and installing recovery and installing rom procedure, but really intrested in installing the percentage and boot screen.
thanks
there are already solutions for both here in the forum
i personaly use Ultimate Online Kitchen for customizing the Battery Icon
if you mean the splash screen here you go
most bootanimations are scattered around in the Theme and apps sub Forum
since splash and bootanimation are just pics and device specific you could use anything with 800:480 resolution
i know i have use that website many times for cooking themes. and this kitchen is for HTC desire simple not for DHD. and if i can use it for cooking for DHD then tell me how to select my DHD rom from it. it is not been added there.
tahanks
while it has some options which are desire only the battery icon can be changed for any device/rom.
All you need is the framework-res.apk locatet at /system/framework
This file is different in most roms. You are asked at the end of the cooking process whether you want to use one of theirs (which are for desire like you already said) or use your own framework-res.apk which you have to upload. ThereĀ“s a tutorial on how to get your framework-res.apk in the second post of the thread
if you are still on stock rom you could also try this
I use the mod of the stock battery with percentage from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=894837&highlight=battery+icon
I use the hybrid one and it's been great so far!
hi,
i use the cyanogenmod7 but there is one little problem.
i can't find the original message ringtones like "color"...
there can i find it? does anybody have it?
what about pulling them from an RUU and putting them in media\audio\ringtones folder on the SD card?
the wallpapers and audio from the Saga (Desire S) is here if that helps: http://www.4shared.com/file/GkU7jsGA/HTCSaga.html
Thanks ... everything perfect
no problem!
as mentioned on title,
im just download coca cola theme on htc theme app,
and sound set really cool:good:.
question where i can find installed sound set on my phone (coke-alarm,coke ringtone, etc)?
already look on c:/system/media/audio/alarm, notification, ringtones not found it:crying:
aaaa.pardon me really sorry, please close/delete my thread.
already found it, it was on sdcard directory.
fool me..sorry sorry
