After installing LP, clearing caches and re-installing yahoo email app, I don't get any push email notifications. Have to open yahoo email and refresh to get email. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm using the Leedroid HD Rom and have setup Push email for my MSN/Hotmail account in the default email app, however I don't receive the emails unless I have the app open on the screen. It doesn't seem to run in the background as Gmail does. Has anyone successfully got Hotmail/MSN working with push email?
I have tried to setup Push within K9 but it fails to accept the settings, I'm wondering if the default port shown in K9 is wrong?
Any advice appreciated.

I have a yahoo email account and a gmail email account. I can't get either to work anymore in the S3 stock email application.
Yahoo email keeps telling my my password is incorrect. This problem is happening on my S3, my Nexus and my wifes iphone with her email account. We can log in fine from a computer.
Gmail in the stock email application from samsung won't delete emails in IMAP. I delete them and they come right back on refresh. In POP, if I read them, they disappear on next refresh. IMAP email works fine in GMAIL application but GMAIL app sucks. No pinch to zoom.
Any ideas?
Gmail app is not delivering mails via push. Everytime (at least 80% of the times) I have to pull manually and sync to receive new mails. I have already configured sync via accounts and my accound with notifications (inbox+priority mail).
I had already tried uninstalling, deleting cache, reinstalling, loging out, etc.
Any idea? I prefer gmail own app rather than samsung's... the only difference is that samsung's let me the option to configure as exchange.
I have SEVERAL accounts that are supposed to sync, but I seem to get a flood of mail when I reboot...
anybody has yahoo mail notification working on their phone? I tried it on 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 and it never notified me if I have new email. In fact, you have to go into the yahoo mail and manually check for new mail messages. Do you think it's the app problem or there is some settings somewhere?
I changed the notification settings in yahoo mail. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. I uncheck and check the notification in manage apps. Nothing I do works. I googled it but nobody seems to know why.
its a yahoo problem on 4.1.2 and up ROMs some are affected others are not unfortunately try using another email client rather than yahoo itself
Been using the Yahoo email client and recently decided to add my Yahoo details into the stock Note 3 email app.
Issue I have is that now the stock email app is downloading all my junk emails into my inbox.
Anyway to resolve this please as I'd much prefer to use the Samsung email client as opposed to the yahoo email app. Thanks.
Edit. Deleted 24 junk emails but they have re appeared again. Looks like the emails are not deleting on the yahoo server.
