Hello!
My d855 G3 is bricked. I have to firmware flash it. Will the flash through KDZ module erase everything on the internal sd card?
Yes

My device is f240s i flashed e988.kdz when i flashed that my internal storage became 16gb. (from 23gb to 10gb) then i lost my imei and no signal. after that i reflash the f240l stockrom , flash my efs backup then i got my signal back. But my internal storage is still 16gb. Tried factory reset but 16gb remains. Gonna try reflash all over again later

hello, Draco,
I have a similar problem. I flash an e988 JB Stock kdz (Hong Kong version) in my e980 model (US variant).
i want to know if what kdz Country version did you flash via kdz method (AKA offline LG Mobile Tool) that restore your 32 GB internal storage?
Hello everybody. I've got a F240L. I want to flash it with official E988 firmware. Because F240l full of useless U+ applications and features . If I flash it via LG Flash tool, will it work? I had converted F240 to E980 via editing build.prop file. But I still have some USSD problems and region problems. Any advices and suggestions?
So, I Flashed my F240L with stock firmware from E988. And have 2 problems now: No network, Memory bug instead 32 gb it shows only 10.

have you tried flashing baseband ?
About Storage, because E988 has 16GB internal storage so if you flash E988 firmware on F240L, you only have 10GB free

Thank you. But unfortunately I couldn't unlock by boot loader. None of the methods did't work for my 240L. So, I went back to stock 4.4.2 and have rooted and cleaned from all Korean U+ crappy, useless applications.
I have flashed one kdz file in my lg g3 mobile but when it restarted it was in the twrp, and all the things I try don't go, the internal storage is empty and I can only use the twrp recovery. I have tried flashing the tot file but the pc recognise the phone but it don't work. The download mode doesn't exist, if someone can help me I will be thanked.

How did you try to get into download mode? Twrp can boot into download mode and also did you try the manual method to get into download mode?
Also how did you you flash the kdz because technically when you flash a kdz it should wipe twrp recovery and return you to stock recovery.

Internal storage is empty and the download mode don't go, I flashed the same firmware for unroot the phone but don't go. I've tried doing this http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359 and the phone goes.
Hi, I have a Euro 16gb d855 on the three network. I was running cloudyrom 2.5 but wanted to return to stock to recycle the handset.
I used the flash tool to flash a stock KDZ and as a result i lost my TWRP and my rom, the KDZ i flashed was the most recent MM one (30b) and the flash tool reported success however the phone is stuck in a bootloop and factory reset does not help..
No other KDZ files will flash apart from this 30b one, I have also tried the TOT file method and that fails on about 8%. LGUP still reports cloudy rom is present and doesn't recognise the device.
So besides KDZ TOT andLGUP what options are there if any to unbrick my phone... I have access to download mode
Thanks in advance for any possible help..

Ok Guys, I dont know whether this is the correct place to ask this question.
I lost some important pictures (the DCIM folder suddenly got deleted). I wanted to recover and I installed this software that is asking for root permission to scan deeper for images.
That being said, I want to root my phone and I tired all apps including kingroot, iroot and oneClick root without any success. What can I do?
Model: LG G3 D855 - 32GB
OS: Marshmallow 6.0
Kernal: 3.4.0
Software Version: V30b SEA-XX
Security Patch Level: 2016-08-01
You must flash older kdz file. Firmwares with 08+ can't be rooted
Try to flash a custom recovery like TWRP. then from twrp flash supersu. That's all you need. The tough part is install twrp

will it wipe my internal memory?
Yes it will if you flash it with LGUP. Not 100% sure but I think there is a option in LGUP to not wipe storage

hey thanks for all the replies. If it wipes internal memory, my purpose is defeated. Are you sure that there is no other way?

In LGUP:
To not wipe data - select UPGRADE
To wipe data - select REFURBISH
Just in case - make a backup

If he is to downgrade to lollipop using the upgrade method, it will likely cause many errors on startup due to non-backwards compatibility of many system settings files (or something)
