Good day fellow XDA users!
I've been playing with my Lg v410 and as you could have guessed - bricked it (while trying to install a rom
The problem: The phone is not booting further the LG logo and the android install
I've tried:
1. Doing a hard-reset, didn't work. After getting to the hard-reset screen - I double-confirm the reset and then nothing happens (waited for about an hour and a half).
2. Entering download-mode, didn't work. It shows the "download mode" logo but nothing happens.
3. Connecting to PC, fast-boot, adb of LG Tool can't "see" the device.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
There is no .kdz released for the V410 (thanks AT&T) so download mode is kind of useless. People have tried the LG mobile support tool with the tablet in download mode, some report it is detected. However, the support tool just says you have the most recent firmware and won't restore the tablet; it is worth a try but unlikely to help.
The only way I've heard of anyone recovering from breaking the V410 to the point where all you have working is download mode is by sending the tablet to LG and having them reflash it.
You can't blame LG for this, they've released firmware for the V400 and by all accounts support it fairly well. It is some kind of AT&T thing; same with some other AT&T branded devices I have. They won't let OEMs release the firmware for devices they peddle.
Your best bet to support this tablet yourself is to nuke the laf partition and enable fastboot (since download mode is useless). At least that way you have a shot at flashing a new recovery or other stuff if something goes wrong.
Good luck. Sorry I don't have any better ideas. At one point I researched a method to create a .kdz from images of a working tablet to deliver with the LG tools, but if it is possible at all, it is beyond my developer skills.
Om it's way to LG for a reflash.

Hello,
can you please help me bring my LG G2 D802 back to life?
I had problems with GPS on LG G2 D802 4.4.2 so i tried to go to 4.2.2.I had some experiences with flashing from previous phones so I though I will be able to perform also this one.
I followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190.
I stopped on 61% on mobile and 53% on tool. Then i used official LG tool, to recovery, but it stopped on 31% or so. Then i used different FW - with this i could get on 100% mobile - but only 89% on LG flash tool. Then I download official LG firmware according IMEI, but unfortunatelly I was again not successful and was not able to get into download menu. When i connected my phone to PC, i got many pop up windows asking to format many various disk on phone.I was not able to get into recovery mode to perform HW reset.
So i decided to to use instructions from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142 with help of mine who is Linux expert.
After this I again get only LG logo when i start phone, and im able to go to recovery mode. I also can start HW reset, but it is doing nothing, just showing: performing hw reset. When I connect phone to PC even that it is switched off (it looks like that) it starts and stop on LG logo, but PC cannot see it. Also it sems, it cannot be found under linux as well.
Please help me.
Thank you very much
Tomas
please help
hello, please anybody help me. Currently when i connect mobile to PC/Mac it is not recognized. Is there some way how to solve this?
many thanks
Tomas
After modifying build files failed, G4 bootlooped at starting logo.
Tried to repair it with lg bridge, and it was forced to update to 6.0 v20c.
Flashed it with v10fkdz(5.1), and the error message was shown:"Error Code=0x2000, Can't decide current device mode."
Can anybody help me to solve the problem?
I think you broke your download mode; sadly, it is the only mode that you can flash via LG Bridge and LG UP. If you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash an image through fastboot. As for me, I can't flash on either of those programs since I also broke my download mode and I have a locked bootloader. Otherwise stated, I have a hard bricked device. Waiting for some possible new program to fix my device
I tried on 3 different PCs, and another available G4 device.
The problem is still there.
I don't know why,
but after reinstall LGUP, downgrade of my phone is OK.
Thx guys
Good day, all
I need help to hopefully restore any working ROM to my LG G4.

The short story is, I originally saw a slightly newer firmware on the LG site https://lg-firmwares.com/. But I may have installed the wrong one since I now cannot get 4G LTE and I now have a 'US Cellular' splash screen at bootup (as opposed to the original LG splash screen). So I got a new LG V20 and it is now having issues. So I decided to try to go back to the LG 4G IF I can get the right firmware on the phone.
I attempted to enable USB debugging, install the LG drivers, DLL and boot into download mode and use the LG UP software to install the firmware US99125a_00_0317.kdz (not SURE if this is the correct firmware or not but I’m frustrated and starting to not care). However, the LG UP software won't recognize my phone (please see screenshots at link below). I also tried the LG Flash Tool and Uppercut (with the request LG UP version) and neither worked (also see screenshots). The phone looks to be kind of messed up when looking at the status section of ‘settings’ and the fact that it won’t connect to 4G LTE and has the ‘us celluar’ splash screen.
Can anyone guide me on how to fix this (hopefully)?
Background Information
So my G4 was hardbricked (won't turn on, no download mode, QUALCOMM 9008 when plugged into PC) because I was trying to return to stock after I had flashed a modified stock ROM on xda using the LG Flash Tool with the 13b(?) KDZ (this was around 2016) but I was recently able to fix it following the guide from gsm developers
However, upon turning on the phone there are some odd things that I've noticed:
It's really really slow, to the point where the only way to turn on/off the screen is to double tap it. Using the power button will make the phone hang resulting in having to pull out the battery to get it to turn on again.
The camera does not work
Upon booting the phone, on the top left side of the screen there is: "secure booting error! error code: 1006 OFFICIAL". From what I've read the other people's devices gets stuck here but for me it does not.
Unable to use LG Flash Tool or LG UP to flash 13b. (LG Flash doesn't detect phone neither does LG UP)
So all in all:
Where do I go from here?
What firmware is the most ideal if I want to root/unlock bootloader etc. (13b?)
Which flash tool do I use? (LG Flash Tool or LG UP)
Why is it running slow?
I really don't want to Hardbrick it again

I was able to figure it out. If anyone is going through the same thing, make sure that whenever you install new drivers, restart your computer, I plugged everything back in and LG UP was able to detect it and I was able to return to stock. The G4 is now unlocked running Lineage OS 15.1 with root. Just make sure to carefully follow instructions.
Hello from Sweden!
I have had an LG G3 for quite a while now just laying around due to issues I ran into with it after unsuccessfully rooting it, those issues specifically was Factory Reset Status 2.
I've been reading around that flashing it with stock firmware can work, and that's something I've tried but haven't seemed to have such success with as I've tried both the KDZ method and TOT method.
With the KDZ method, using the LG Flash Tool 2014 I kept on receiving errors that the tool couldn't communicate with servers and I never seem to run into any success no matter the flash mode I chose (CSE or Normal).
When doing the TOT method, however, I seemed to get a bit further (it felt like at least). When running the LG FlashTool v1.8 I selected manual mode, selected the TOT (LGD855AT-V10e-EUR-16G) and DLL file (LGD855_20140526_LGFLASHv160) I had downloaded for the LG G3 D855, I also made sure that I was using the action mode "UPGRADE DL" and the connection method "USB" in the software.
I click on the yellow arrow to continue and "READY!!" shows up on Port 1 and I then replug the phone and "Waiting for connection" shows up in the box and I wait a few seconds and it begins, but almost instantly ends giving me the error "Model information Check failed!".
Honestly, at this point, I am fully unaware of what to try. I am willing to provide more information if required to get assistance with this, I am willing to try almost anything to get this phone working no matter if I lose all data or not.
I'm thankful for all tips I get provided to attempt to fix this.
