Once you got Flashtool installed in your PC go into your Cdrive. There you would find a folder called "Flashtool" open that folder and navigate to find another folder called "Drivers" You find a .exe called "Flashtool-drivers.exe" and install that into your pc with this exe you would install the necessary drivers for your xperia device of choice. The .exe will ask for permissions click on yes for every single one of them. Mission accomplished.
already try that , still cant solve my problems . i also tried use pdanet , still cant get it working , guess my pc 'refuse' to install the drivers . sigh ~
Have you tried using fastboot via adb. Just curious because I couldn't get drivers to install through fastboot but it did work through adb.

I'm talking about via adb in flashtool. Under fastboot mode. Have you tried using that instead of normal fastboot option.

yeah , have tried that . still when my phone reboot to fastboot mode , it asked to install s1boot fastboot drivers , and i cant install them :| . already try to install the drivers in flashtool folder and it didn't work for me . guess i have to give up on this .
Test another USB, and check if the driver is compatible with 32-bit
This is what worked for me, every time. I was having same issues as you. Just select to choose your own drivers and select the fastboot adb folder and make sure "search subfolders" is selected. Works every time.

Hi,
I've tried every USB port on my computer (win 7 x64) and still no way to install that driver!
The device stays in fastboot mode for a couple seconds only, and then shows SONY logo and starts charging battery.
Device SONY Sola with stock firmware 6.1.1.B.1.54
Flashtool drivers are installed, but it always complains that they aren't, and device manager shows that "s1boot fastboot" device for that 1 second, if that.
Any sugestions?
Alright... I found my mistake!
When installing the FlashTool drivers, I only checked the ones for my phone (sola). I went back and installed the last two (Fastboot and flash mode) and all is well now.
So for the record, I succeeded by instaling 3 drivers:
Sola driver
fastboot driver
flashmode driver
Hope that helps anyone!

I Know what you're doing wrong, had the same problem!
Once you've changed the path. Let flashtool install the drivers, make sure you click on fastboot drivers aswell.
Once installed, go to run, type in cmd and the the commands you want to run.
E.g. Fastboot flash boot boot.img
dude i m having the same problem as yours
did yours work out???????????
must reply.........................
i made it all and i get it finished but blank
why i have a blank LCD i flashed that version
4_1_B_0_587.APP_SW_Hallon_GENERIC_1242_4466_S1_SW_LIVE_883F_PID1_0001.SIN_FILE_SET
I had the same problem with my Xperia Z5 Compact and I solved it by installing the driver posted here: http://d-h.st/KYl
Thanks to ozzmanj1 for the help!
To install the drivers under Windows 10 I had to reboot and disable driver signature enforcement (Shift+Reboot, then advanced settings, and disable driver enforcement).
Cheers,
C.

Did you install Samsung Kies in your laptop?
ODIN itself is just a package sender, you'll still need the software for your computer to recognize the device itself.
My method:
1) enable windows auto update
2) boot into download mode
3) open Odin and select ops and one package
4) connect your phone with download mode to computer
5) wait the Odin appear yellow dialog and press start and flash
Then you're done

if ur laptop can read ur phone normally when connected (for MTP or data storage) then it should be read by odin when in download mode

I have the same problem. I installed Kies, but the Windows 8 dont see my mobile in download mod and usb mod too. I cant move file between the pc and the mobile, and i cant use odin to flash it.
I'm pretty sure that's a windows 8 problem, try compatibility mode or something? i have no idea how to fix it because it should be a driver and windows 8 problem. Or else you just have to use another computer and flash cwm.

I read in another device's forum that KIES drivers are not compatible with Windows 8, yet.
But that doesn't affect me, because:
1. I install CWM using the 'dd' method instead of Odin, and
2. I copy files to and from my phone using Airdroid or Samba Filesharing.
3. I have no plans of ever going back to stock.

OK panic not.
First see if you can test it on another computer. The HOV doesn't agree with USB3.0 so if you have any usb ports that aren't that, then try it there. Is the phone S-OFF? If so you could try and flash by putting the rom.zips on your sd-card then rebooting into recovery.
Also can you check adb with the other cables as well?

That is very strange indeed, if it charges then it should be recognised by ADB. Are you sure your running adb from a folder it works from, are the drivers installed on the computers you tested it on?

Ok another idea you could try is flashing a different rom. I am plucking at straws here though, as all our 4.2.2 roms are currently based on 1ceb0xs one anyway. Have you tried re-installing the rom from recovery?

ZE551ML stuck on flashing android logo

I recently tried to clear everything on my phone, so that it would have been the same as it was when it came out of the factory. I cleared the data and cache through recovery, but when tried to clear the cache, my phone just froze completely. I then restarted the phone by holding down the power button for a couple of seconds and after just booted normally.
Now my problem is that when I try to boot my phone, a flashing android logo with a red triangle appears. Fastboot mode is working on the phone, but the pc won't recognize my phone. The "Unknown USB device" message appears on the computer.
My question now is, how to fix it, so that the computer recognizes my phone, so I could flash an image through adb? And by the way, I have all the drivers installed, and they were working fine before the problem appeared.
I found many similar problems, but none of them were the excatct same as mine.

Try reinstalling USB and Qualcomm drivers with Windows in Test Mode. Sharing a screenshot of you Device Manager could help us help you also.
Did you find a solution? I am facing the same issue.
- Check the USB cable being used
- Try another USB port on the computer
- LIke other user mentioned boot your windows into recovery then start the windows with disabled driver signature verification mode then install the drivers (For me Oneplus drivers itself worked fine) this will just make sure that ur computer recognizes your android rest is left to what you have fiddled on the ROM. worst case just download the stock ROM with MSM tool and reset your entire phone and continue the experiments.

Hello havent had time to mess with my phone. Bellow I have attached a copy of how my device manager looks like when in the pixel experience recovery mode. When trying to update the drivers these are the options that I get. Regardless of what I click on for the model option none of them seem to work. I am kind of stuck here.

Make sure Windows is in Test Mode or Disable Integrity Check. Then, try reinstalling the Oneplus USB drivers from here first and lastly Qualcomm drivers from here or from here.
I think that in Recovery Mode the Device should look like this:

I tried this again using the three links provided. I made sure to reset my computer by disabling the Integrity and being in test mode. Still no luck. I have no idea where I went wrong. I've followed all the instructions from the forums and made sure to read every step carefully before attempting. As and alternative I tried to run TWRP and install the rom from a usb plugged into my phone. Even this has been failing with both Pixel experience and Lineage OS. At the moment I have flashed back to 10.0.13 Global OnePlus 7t with the pixel experience recovery image. Any further help or advice is much appreciated.

Could using windows 11 be causing a problem?
Any suggestions I have tried installing the drivers on Windows 10 and 11. I have tried using different computers but still no luck.

Can you define "no luck"? What error or problem are you having?
If you are still getting the yellow exclamation in Device Manager, you could try clicking "Update Driver" and browsing to the folder where you unzipped the drivers.
Also there are many solutions you could try from this thread.
I've tried following the instructions on that thread and have been unable to update the drivers from the disk. The only inf file available to me is the autorun file in the OnePlus_USB_Drivers_Setup folder. All of these issues are when running the phone in the pixel experience recovery mode.
