this was a much hyped feature of sense 4.0, to allow other people to use your phone, but not access your private data.
How do you access it?

Guest Mode for All Android Phones (App)
The first time a guest mode was revealed for any android device was with the launch of LG G2 series phones. This feature was advertised so well in the media. I also bought an LG G2 at that time (not for this feature alone) as it was a great phone. I realized that a little over six months had passed and I seldom used the Guest Mode feature on the phone.
The guest mode in G2 and the one in the upcoming Android L (5.0) is something that is too apparent in nature. What I mean is that any adult who is given a phone in the guest mode will easily be able to come to know that they do not have the full access to the phone. In cultures (like India), it will be considered very rude in case I lent a phone to another user in Guest Mode. Also, what do you do when you Dad asked you for your phone, you surely cannot give him in Guest Mode (this will make him more suspicious).
This was the practical challenge when I decided to make an app for myself, the app that I have been using is similar to an app locker. However, it has been added with a screen lock as well. I chose two different types of passwords (one master and another guest). The app allows me to chose all the applications that I consider private and want to be locked (such as emails, whatsapp, other chats, picture gallery etc). When I unlock my screen using the master password, the screen gets unlocked and all protected apps get unlocked as well. When I give my phone to someone else, I just give them my guest password. The screen gets unlocked normally using the guest password, however, all the protected apps continue to be locked. This helps me easily give my phone to others.
When I gave the app to my friends, the kind of response that I received was overwhelming. So launched it for public as well. You can download the app for free from Google Play. Just search for Pluggdd on Google Play, it is the only app on Pluggdd as the developer.
Looking forward to feedback from you all developers on what is missing in the app and what more features can I add.
Does the G Pad have Guest Mode like the G2 does? I have recently set up Guest Mode on my G2 and love it. I can give the phone to my kids, they enter their own unlock pattern and they can only access set apps that I designate. That's it. They can't access the notification shade or the app drawer. They can't add or change or delete anything. It's exactly what I want so I can safely hand the phone to my kids without worrying what they do.
On the G Pad 8.3, it seems to be a full multi-user account experience. This is great, but it seems that Guest Mode has been removed to make way for it. Multi-User still allows almost full access, and I can see my kids screwing something up if I use it. For the kids to use, I would much rather use GM, and I can't seem to find it anymore. Is it hidden somewhere that I'm not seeing? If it's gone, is it possible to get it back maybe through side loading or a mod or something?
Anyone?
A lot of sites on the web seem to list it as having Guest Mode. Not sure if that's incorrect or not.
I don't think you can. At least I don't see an option for that when adding a new user.
The LG G2 supports it, but it's not on the G pad.
I noticed on January 10, 2015, a new device was registered onto my Google account. The way I found out, was I was looking to install apps, and where you can limit reviews based on your device. I see mine listed (the retail Galaxy Note 4 for Verizon), and also a SAMSUNG-SM-N900A, listed as well. Upon looking at my devices on my Google account, it seems to be a T-Mobile - US Galaxy Note 3.
What is this? How did it happen? Have I been somehow hacked? I went ahead and removed the device from my list so it no longer appears, but in my settings, it is still listed.
Cha b ge your Google password to be on the safe side.
Change your password and I would recommend using 2 step verification.

Just checked for system updates on my Verizon Note 10+ and it's available to download. I'm not on wifi right now so I didn't start yet. But it appears we're getting it already. I'm kinda shocked.
I got it Today it is installed. I was also somewhat surprised from what I had read we weren't due till next Month there was no word really about Verizon being one of the first in the US. Color me surprised it seems to work fine. You do have to update Dex on the PC I had to download the Beta for Andriod 10 then it did another update and worked fine. Dex on the PC did not update itself until I did the manual update to the Android 10 Beta though it just had the startup screen spinning.
Also out for AT&T as well!
Anyone recieve it unlocked note 10 plus?
The unlocked is still on the beta

Remove Retail Mode MDM Demo Samsung Galaxy Note N960F N960U N960XF OK
you go to the app called Retail Mode. First password is the – 5444, then you will click off disable retail mode. will ask you again for password. that you will use the M729Q16K8546. It will then as you if you want to factory reset phone.
There are many passwords out there that are worth a shot.. some stores use their own passwords. (And in some cases the phone allows you to pick from a list of retailers, so pick Walmart and try these 2) Here are some I know of:
Walmart device: rollback, Walton
Bestbuy: blue
Others I’ve read have worked (worth a shot right?!)
- galaxy
- ruletheair
- rethink
- demomode exit
- instoredemo
- unlimited
- remove cod
- nationwider
you know what all your answers are wrong. also checked on other forums the 5444 and m729 is only use to access retail mode app in order to set ldus settings and also to register the store where the ldu is being setup.. i have a friend from samsung and good thing he’s from hhp fieldforce he taught me how to disable or freeze the retail mode inorder for user to use the ldus but take note you can only use it like tab you can download games and store files like ordinary tab or ipad without sim. so here it is
you need the 5444 and m729 to open retail mode app
• on the retail mode app on the upper part you will see the “3 dots” like settings drop down you’ll see 3 items there. now go back
• here is the trick. on the lower part right at the middle of your screen just tap your screen there 9 times. dont worry at your 6 tap youll see a notif to click 3 more 2 more 1 more ..
• then voala!! go back to the 3 dots on the upper right part open it and youll see now 4 items the last item will be deactivate retail mode, tap deactivate then it will turn to activate meaning its already deactivated
