[Q] HTC ONE M8 O2 issues - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,so basically i attempted to root my phone, kinda decided not to after unlocking bootloader,so i locked it again, then when i try to download anything,it fails, regardless of wireless or mobile data,it wont sync with htc sync manager, just error 4, meaning i cant download or put music on my phone
So im wondering if someone can tell me how to set it back to factory rom,so it gets rid of the Super user installer, and locks the bootloader again and doesnt show its been tampered with
Ive looked at tutorials but none have worked so far
Phone details:
HTC One M8
02 network Contract
5.0.1 android version
4.20.206.1 - I cant remember what this number exactly was but something to do with the software version i believe

Stuck in WFS Recovery (White HTC Logo)

It all goes like this - I wanted to root my WPS to solve space problem, although, there was a solution for it without rooting, I figured I will be wanting to use some apps that need root access and some roms sooner or later.
So I did a search and found few ways to root my phone. Being a lazy ass I decided to use "the simple" one click solutions - gingerbreak (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765) or Root Unlocker (http://www.unlockroot.com/) This was no success. Gingerbreak kept rooting when I launched the app, but Root Unlocker displayed " FAIL TO GET SHELL ROOT". I figured that problem with Gingerbeak might be that I updated the software to the latest version -
Then I went on and tried another tutorial(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195275). Everything was fine till I selected Recovery from bootloader. It got stuck with white HTC logo. Took out the battery tried to use newer version of ClockworkMod Recovery, but still was a no-go. I also can't do a factory restart. I can't do it from bootloader or settings > SD & phone storage > Factory data reset. (But could do it at first. Before trying to root my device I did a factory reset once.)
Is there a way to use another Recovery (not CMR) or force Recovery from fastboot? As I found there are some other people that got stuck with similar problem.
Other problems:
My phone doesn't show up in HTC Sync. Althought, when I tipe adb devices in cmd, it shows up. I did turn my AntiVirus off when I installed HTC Sync, but it still didn't display my phone.
Here are my specs:
Model HTC Wildfire S A510e
It shows Marvel in bootloader.
Phone was S-OFF when I bought it.
Android 2.3.5
HTC Sence 2.1
Software number 2.26.401.3
I bought my phone without a contract from a local internet shop. I am from Baltics.
The phone might be somewhere from Europe.
My bet would be Poland. (guessing that manual language is Polish, but I might be wrong)
Thanks in advance.

Wtf am I doing wrong here... Coming from Gnex

Hello fellow One-X'ers, I am coming from a long line of Samsung devices and have only had one HTC phone in the past, (HD2).
I cant for life of me figure out how to root this phone, I have tried the conventional method, alternate root method, im getting nothing... Bootloader will not unlock through htcdev (which it says to do in half of the root how-tos), i always see error 160 invalid MID...
I have installed and updated the following:
-Java
-HTC Mobile drivers as well as sync
-SDK
-Fastboot
wtf am I missing here? I just want to get a new rom as this sense stuff absolutely sucks. Yes I have searched, yes I have read...
What phone have you got? If I remember correctly the "Error 160" / "invalid MID" responses are returned when you try and use HTCDev to unlock the AT&T One X (actually the One XL) which doesn't support unlocking the bootloader in that way.
Boot into the bootloader and check the model name displayed at the top of the screen: if it says "evita" then that's your problem, and you'll need to head over to the forums for your particular device to get some help because none of the stuff in this section will work - http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1538
If the bootloader shows "endeavoru" then you are in the right place, but in that case I don't know what the problem is.
Uninstall HTC sync, keep the USB drivers mind.

HTC One V RUU Problem

Hello Friends,
I recently was fed up of my ROM so i updated it with the RUU and it went fine, but then i did software update from device ( OTA update) once and then it worked fine, then again i updated it once as it was showing one update but after that second update it did not receive the signal and my phone became dead as far as signal was considered. after that i tried to run again RUU to restore it back but it shows error that uncorrect RUU version. I tried installing other custom ROM but it stucks now and i am waiting at bootloader in wait of your help.
My details of phone are
Device : HTC One V CDMA Virgin Mobile
HBOOT 1.57.000
RADIO 1.00.00.0928
Can anyone please help me to get my phone running. i would be grateful for any help as i am stuck at this point.

[Q] I'm all out of options (s-off htc one m7 hboot 1.55)

EDIT: sorry wrong place
Hey guys,
I have searched my ass off to find a solution and i just can't seem to find one.
I have spent more then 8 hours in the past couple of days on it and it is just not working.
My htc one m7 has a cid with tmob101 and I don't even have tmobile as a provider.
The *****es branded it after i inserted the my simcard for 1 day till my new contract whent live.
So what is the situation.
As said i have an HTC One M7 black.
It runs android 4.3.3 and has HBOOT 1.55
it has a cid tmob101 as said above
I also unlocked the phone through htc dev.
I have the single latest version of twrp recovery cause the latest doenst let me connect with adb.
Just not showing anywhere.
So I am running version 2.6.3.3
Besides that i'm still running the stock software (no custom rom or anything).
just the out of the box software.
What have o tried:
well everything i can think of.
1. i tried revone although i knew it would not work. (a man can dream right )
2. tried rumrunners through a live cd of ubuntu 12.04
rumrunners at first didn't want to work at all but now when i run it it gets to the point of "Pouring 8 ..........." and then says plays wait 30 seconds and but the phone , pray and try again.
3. then i tried firewater but that one said right from the start that no amount of hacking would do any good.
i changed permissions, ive tried doing everything through windows and linux alike but it just won't work.
Can someone help?
Please let me know what information you might need or want for you to help me.
I just want to get back to international version.
hope you guys can help

HTC One (M8) - Unrooting help!!!

Hi there,
So recently I have successfully rooted my HTC One M8. However, I only could seem to get Android Revolution working properly on my device. All other ROMS like Cyan, Liquid Smooth didn't read my sim card for whatever reason. So far, Android Revolution is the only one working for me at the moment. I have cell service, I can text, call, and use WiFi just fine. However I'm just not really found of the software. I really just want to get back to a FRESH new start, un-rooted, everything like it was just out of the box. HOWEVER, I never did manage to make a backup in TWP or whatever it's called. So I'm really panicking here... I just want to get my phone back but I am just lost. I can't figure it out.
details:
CWS__001
MAIN: 3.42.502.1
I can't seem to find a stock rom for that "main" number there. =(
Not looked very hard, the RUU is on HTCs website!
http://dl3.htc.com/application/RUU_...40.34.C35006.02_F_release_407726_signed_2.exe
Relock your bootloader, run the above file and connect your phone when prompted and it'll put you back to 100% stock as if you only just got the phone
