Anyone have a fix for this? Snap playbacks are choppy aF

Same problem over here for me too
Same,
I submitted a bug report to Snapchat about it. I'm in the beta and got an update today but no dice, same issues.
Seems to be only specific to the s6 and s6 edge. Kind of annoying.

Go to developer options in Settings then turn off Use NuPlayer. This should fix the issue

Hi All,
I am in the UK and have a new 16GB White unbranded unlocked Note 2 running stock JB 4.1.1, the device has never been modified or rooted. When I go into aerial view and attempt to drag a home screen into the trash I get a Force Close in Touchwiz which restarts and the home screen remains in place. I have tried format of cache in recovery but it made no difference. I don't want to do a factory reset and lose my stuff, but will do if thats the only fix. Do I have any other options? Has anybody got this problem and did you resolve it?
Thanks for any replies
Phil

That happened to me when i diasbled animations in settings, development options, always enable them from 0,5 or higher.
Anyone found a solution to this problem. I had disabled animations from the "Developer Options" previously. I have enabled them now but I am still getting the crash.
Try reboot in recovery and wipe cache and reboot.

gee2012 you genius i did that setting those 3 settings to 1 rebooted and voila home screens delete fine :thumbup: even better i then set all three settings to 0 and it still works, obviously its some weird bug but you cant really complain as it is a developer option after all!!!!
Thanks again mate

I have been using the global CM10 from November. I try others and keep going back to it. actually just restored to it today, as I realized the new batch of !0.1 does not support wifi tether. Would that be true of this as well? I needs my Barnacle.
Thank you DKStunna!

Just spent a week in London with this ROM. It worked perfectly for me with a Pay-as-you-go Vodafone SIM.
The only issue I had was with Vodafone. Their online system does not take US credit cards to pay for SIM plans, so I had to buy a voucher at a Vodafone store (credit card accepted for this type of transaction) and then apply the voucher to a SIM plan.
Nice ROM, thanks for the GSM add.

I'm experiencing a slight lag when switching between apps or the app drawer and the homescreen. Anyone else this or the solution? I also have Nova installed but would like to use the standard launcher for a while.

I already tried that but I got a message that there was insufficient memory... Maybe now, with a sd card inserted, it will work.

Simply enable a 30 second or so delay for the settings to kick in after a reboot. If your settings will make the phone unstable you have time to alter them/disable TricksterMod after a bootup.

What did you change in yours? I guess I'll give it a try, after all it might be worth messing things up if it improves performance.

After having terrible battery drain with the newest update, I tried everything to fix it.
Here's what worked for me.
1. Clear the cache through recovery and reboot.
2. Disable consistent WiFi scanning and unneeded location services.
3. Disable security and bug reporting.
Step three was the most useful for me. I now have 4-5 hours of SOT like I did pre-update.
They're located in settings-about device and settings - security.
Disabling these will stop any diagnostic logging from being sent to Google and Samsung. I initially though this was the issue when my Android System battery use was through the roof and "Silent Logging Service" was on top of the list.

If you go to settings-wifi and click the three dot menu, you'll find "advanced". Disable "always allow scanning".

In my data usage, the unified daemon has only used 20kb or so. Is this app responsible for something else?
It is used with location reporting. The Samsung weather widget will not work if the unified dameon is disabled. Other weather widgets and location reporting will still work though.

Nice. Thanks. Got it disabled and will test to see if it makes a difference in the battery life.
#3 makes sense because it's likely pinging the database all day long even when in poor reception areas so it burns battery
#2 is a decent idea but I bet that was enabled before the update when you had excellent battery

O yeah for sure. Will report back.
I think the culprit is actually the enhanced 4G LTE services. Once I turned that off, my battery started to resemble what it used to be before the update. If you go to settings -> data usage -> mobile data -> uncheck 4G LTE services.
Been having horrible battery after update, trying all of the following and will report back:
- Disable Enhanced 4G LTE
- Clear the cache through recovery and reboot.
- Disable consistent WiFi scanning and unneeded location services.
- Disable security and bug reporting.
Will update soon!
Has anybody gotten this bug on the custom roms? Everytime I'm scrolling or in an app and I click/long press a link I get this yellow box that has something to do with talkback(?) but I can't find anything on the accessibility settings nor developer options
It is very annoying because it keeps jumping back to the box whenever I scroll.
If anyone has an idea of what this could be and how can I get rid of it please lend a hand, thanks in advance.
Tap once or two on unclickable part of the page and you're ready to move. I also have this bug, but without TalkBack installed.

Thank God it's not just me, I don't have talkback installed either, it's probably part of the ROM then, thanks for confirming, I thought my device was crazy after I reflashed the ROM several times, I suspect this might also be the cause of some lags and bugs on apps and games I play.
