I tryed that no luck. I flashed cm12.1 seems to be able to write to both internal and external so i decided to re wipe internal sd, data, cache, dalvik and try to flash UCUFNJ1 again but sticks at att symbol with blue blinking led.

Did you do format data under advanced wipe, the one where you have to type yes? That one is pretty good for solving aosp to touchwiz problems.

If no one hops in with any better ideas here maybe look around the s3rx or tm ROM development threads here. You're not the first person to have this problem, but I thought they solved it by formatting internal sd and flashing a stock ROM first.
If you want something else to try, maybe flash philz touch for recovery wipe and flash with it.

There should be some discussion in that s3rx thread of people having the same problem, touchwiz won't boot after running aosp. Take a look through the more recent posts or do some searching there. Someone might have posted a fix. This problem isn't really uncommon.

Cant find the latest philz touch recovery for the I747.

Did you give philz touch recovery a try? There's a point of view here that it wipes a little better than twrp.

Internal sdcard might be at /data/media/0. I haven't used philz much myself. I think you can go into Mount -> USB storage to get it to mount as a USB device if you need to. It's not automatic like on twrp.

After full wipes and format of data, flash the NJ1 bootloader/modem and then the ROM. I had to do that on mine and it worked

The boot loader and modem thing is a great point. I should have asked you that to begin with, but unless you are absolutely certain you were on ne4 or nj1 boot loader before, do not just find the nj1 boot loader and modem on the forum and flash it or you could hard brick.
Safest way to proceed would be to load aroma file manager on your external sd card. Flash it in recovery then open up a terminal from it. In the terminal enter
Code:
getprop ro.bootloader
That will output your boot loader.

Great. Glad it's working for you.
So it wouldn't boot after wiping with twrp and had to be wiped with philz. Did you get it to flash with philz or did you have to go back to twrp to flash it? Just want to be sure I understand. :highfive:

Download your stockversion from sammobile. and flash it with Odin.
Download CWM and the root.zip flash it with odin,so your tab are rooted.
Make an nandroid backup with the recovery.
so is sure that you can go back when you have probs.

I have no external sdcard inserted in the tab. I hoped i would be able to flash the files i copied on the tab.
I kinda have the same problem, Im going to follow this thread...
I may be late for dinner but here is how I flash roms on my 5210. If the rom is the OEM Stock Rom, I flash it from ODIN. This HAS to be done this way. There is no other way to flash OEM Stock Rom.
If I am going to flash something like Grievous or Pimpdroid or BinDroid, I will load the rom on to my internal memory Download folder. Then from TWRP I select install and it goes straight to the download folder. However, before I install any of these roms I will wipe the cache and dalvik cache. Is this wise? I don't know, I just do it because most of what I have read has indicated it should be done.
So if you are still having issues, reload from fresh the OEM Stock Rom for you device. Then reload your favorite Recovery (CWM or TWRP). Set up your device for the minimal way you want to use it. Now, from either CWM or TWRP (or whatever backup app you have) backup your device and save it to your PC. This way you can always go back to standard/stock.
From here you would load the Root.zip AND the rom you want to load on the internal download folder (note - if the rom is already rooted there is no need to load root.zip). Now go into recovery and install the root. Restart then shutdown. Note - you may have to update the SuperSU or Superuser app. Go back into recovery and install the rom.
This is how I have done it and it has worked for me. I am sure I have loaded and reloaded several times different roms. However, I always come back to the Stock ROM via backup restore. I haven't found a rom worth using.
This is how I do it. Your device may not react in the same way mine does. So I advise you on the side of caution that you could damage your device if you follow what I do. Not saying what I do is wrong, but it is how I go about loading and unloading different roms. The key for me is I use the backup/restore from TWRP. I find it to be very fast.
Good luck!
ps... if you have already done this and it did not work, my apologies for coming to party too late.
Thank you for your help. I allready tried this procedure. It all works well, the problem starts with the custom roms i try to install, They install fine but when they boot up I get various forceclose messages. Unusable.
I suspect the isue is with the roms. I have not yet found a working rom for GT-P5220.
Has anyone found some working rom for this specific device?

[Q] Can't boot after failed root attempt

SOLVED
So today I decided I would try to install a custom OS/ROM whatever it's called on my HTC One X. I unlocked the bootloader successfully without any problems. Then I went on to root the phone, and this is where it all went wrong. I found a tutorial and followed it to the tiniest detail. I am unable to link to it because I am a new user. When my phone rebooted it went to the "HTC Quietly Brilliant" boot screen. I left it there for 30 minutes and it still didn't move on. What do I do now? I am a super noob at this, and I admit that I am an idiot for not reading more up on it first, it just all seems so super complicated.
Thanks in advance for any help and guidance.

No, no error, it said "Daemon launched successfully" or something along those lines, my phone turned off and turned back on to the HTC boot screen.
Ok, try this: if the phone is still on keep the power button pressed till it restarts and press also vol down button until you arenin the bootloader; if the device is off, enter bootloader keeping power and vol down button pressed... Now my suggestion is to flash a custom recovery and a custom rom, you will get root privileges and the phone will work again...
Sent from Somewhere Over The Rainbow...
If you are unlocked (you see it in bootloader) you can flash a custom recovery and a custom rom. Look up for your favorite Recovery and flash it.
Download the img File to directory where you have the fastboot files and run this code in command prompt
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img
After it you can boot into Bootloader and turn to recovery to get access to phone and SD Card/flash Rom
Did you flash boot.img and erased the cache?

Okay, so I successfully flashed TWRP and launched into recovery mode with it. How I get the custom ROM files on my SD card, when I plug my phone into my computer with USB it doesn't show up in the drives section, so I can't open up the SD card.
Another thing is that with the latest version of TWRP for my phone touch doesn't work in the recovery mode. There's a version that does, but it says it doesn't have USB mount or something like that. What's the next step?
You need to mount sd card via recovery, and having the touchscreen working is better as it will be easier to move inside aroma installer... Use philz recovery (if you want a sense rom use 5.15.9, if you want kitkat use the last version), enter the recovery, plug the phone into pc, mount sdcard via recovery, copy the zip over it and follow the instructions to install rom... You can find the instructions in every rom thread op... Ask if you need more help

Cannot mount system/cannot install rom

I just recently got an HTC one m7 that I've fully unlocked, s-off'd, and rooted and now when I try to install a Rom it fails or I should say it hangs on 1% never advancing. Furthest I've gotten is 7% on santod's nusensesixMAX Rom but it wouldn't finish. Is it my recovery? I'm on the latest TWRP. Anyone with any input please
Have you tried the No data Wipe RUU and see if it takes?
No I haven't
I would suggest doing that RUU. it is the one @dottat made where he says it will not wipe SD card that way you do not lose anything on the card. If it is a borked emmc chip and needs fixing, Dottat has some tricks up his sleeve that may work.

Update your twrp recovery to the latest. That is why system won't mount in recovery.

Bootloop after flashing TWRP, CM13

I'm (or rather, was) on CM13 nightly, today I downloaded TWRP through Flashify and flashed it, previously I was using Philz Touch, now I have a bootloop. I just had a bootloop a few days ago and had to install everything over again, and I really don't feel like doing it again. What can I do?

Can you enter the recovery mode? And if so I would recommend reflashing everything, that usually helps xD

Yes I can, but I reeeeeally don't feel like going back to stock AGAIN, I was thinking maybe flashing CyanogenMod Recovery would help fix the issue since TWRP is apparently not compatible with Marshmallow, the problem is I can't get my PC to recognize my phone in fastboot mode therefore I can't flash the new recovery. Any ideas?

Why didn't you backup your data? Always backup your data! Moreover, put the image to flash on your sd card

Alright, I can do that. How do I flash it after it's on my SD?

Wipe as usual, then in TWRP go to mount and choose external_sd, after that navigate up until you find the folder external_sd and load from there
You don't need to go back to stock. If you can enter recovery, you can wipe system (only) and dirty flash your cm13 over it. It usually works and dont lose your personal files nor installed apps. If it don't, do a full wipe and flash your rom again.
