HI Guys,
need help....
I can't access the fastboot mode and if I go to the download mode, it says "Secure boot error".
And the windos device manger says, there is a device called "qhsusb_bulk".
Does any has a solution for that ?

if thats your screenshot some things are wrong. for example its G2 chip instead of G3 and restore boot img shouldnt be ticked. emmc test should be.
plus you have to install qualcomm 9008 driver to see whats the correct port.

Look if you have the correct port and the phone it's seen as qualcomm 9008 you must first do AP+EMMC test and when that's completed you ALSO tick SDRAM and press start again.[ dont disconnect the phone no matter how much time it takes to proceed] you have to wait about 5 minutes and then youll be in download mode. then just download LG flash tool and follow a tutorial to go back to stock with TOT files. important: you dont have to tick restore boot img. THIS WORKED FOR MY D855 .

did you use the board diag posted in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/unbrick-lg-g3-qhsusbbulk-qualcomm-9008-t3072091 ? It should work i used it 3 hours ago and unbricked mine (d855)

I also have 64x windows, so i did disable and enable the driver...

What OS did you use. I am trying to fix my Verizon G3 and I am getting the failed to load programmer error as well.

it was win7 x64 i dont think it really matters. anyways, in the beggining i got that error too but with a different version of that software. 2.99a version was the only one which worked

I cannot get 2.99a to work on 8.1 or maybe because it's a verizon G3. Won't have access to to a 7 machine until tomorrow.

you could install win7 in virtual machine (vmware) and then try. didnt know that software didnt work on win8
it should work with any model as long as you choose the right tot. our phones have the same chip (8974AC)

hi guys, flashed the rom stock bumped v20i, I received an error in flash with wipe, I rebooted into recovery but does not go. i lost recovery and download mode (volume up and connected usb to pc does not turn on the device).
any solutions?

I am getting stuck oin bootloop so had to downgrade. Why can't you get to recovery with battery pull and volume down?

Those files can be extracted from KDZ 5.0 with the kdz extractor tool. This solution don't work for me u.u' can't find qualcom 805 driver...

Is your phone in Qualcomm QHSUSB__BULK mode?
If yes I recently got this problem on my D855 after getting an OTA update, it hardbricked, it will need to be boot repaired, the owner of the board diagnostics software is in the thread you got your software from, he restricted his software so that it will give the said error.
He charges 50 USD for repairing boot, I returned my phone to the seller, you should try the software in offline mode, i-e disconnect from the internet before launching the application, if it works then tell us, if not then probably the best option will be to ask the owner of this software for access.

Its a good sign, use the LG flash tool, use the TOT method not the KDZ one...

The com port as in my thread just wanted to check in this post if anyone has any updates too as this one sounds very similar

I know on g3 this was considered hard brick had to use wilcrack to reflash bootloader partitions cause the primary gtp is now corrupted for what ever reason g2 and g3 are unbrickable beacause of this i do know u need the tot of the firmware u bricked on have to extract 4 or 5 partitions from said tot. Then flash them to ure phone
Search for g3 hard brick and it can give u a idea just ddont know how compatible it is yet ive done it on g2 and g3 im new to g4

Ok but on willcracket there was 2nd loader.hex file which was only for msm8974 and 8974AC and our g4 is msm8992 and msm8994
So we badly need msm8992.hex file and rawprogram.xml
And as I see there is some mbn files also sbl1.mbn,sbl1 signed.mbn and more
We need those files for msm8992 please can anyone give us those files so we try it

I got the same problem, my device stops during upgrade and bootloader freeze, I can't enter in download mode, e don't clean in a recovery.
Sometimes it's back, but my win7 64 don't recognize him, few a minutes display off and pc recognized like as qhsusb_bulk!

Same problem happened to me when i was doing revert process on my Windows 10 laptop which used to be successful in past time. I also tried changing to Windows 8.1 on that laptop but didn't worked.
So AFAIK the only solution for that problem is changing your PC. Try to repeat the process on a different computer running Windows 7 (32 bit recommended). All the best with that.

Don't worry i am pretty sure about that. If you change to a windows 7 (32-bit) pc with try again LG Flash tool process by tot or kdz method this will work.
But if not then you can try to do flashing process with LGUP tool (Hopefully)

Use different Dll
I had the same problem. Your motherboard is not changed.I extracted my Dll from Kdz . That worked for me. Just use different Dll. it will solve your problem.

what dll you used..i have also this problem i have d855 model and when i switch on my phone it automatic in downloading mode ...i have tried (LGD855_20140526_LGFLASHv160.dll) with (D855AT-00-V10e-EUR-XX-JUL-08-2014-32G+0.tot) beacause i dont know what is mobile software version

I've quite literally done everything. Step by step following the original root method. Everything goes fine until send command is involved. My phone's ports are showing COM1 and COM3. Neither is listed as "DIAG" like the instructions say.
I'm running 5.1 now not 6.0.

open the folder when in download mode... and click on port.bat whats does it says on DIAG1 ?? on mine its says COM15 ON DIAG1 so for example use 15
Send_Command.exe \\.\COM15 so what ever says on yours thats the number you need to place

That's just it. There is no DIAG port. there's serial0 and something else. It used to show com5 for DIAG but now DIAG is gone.

I can try that tomorrow. What if it's phone related? Only reason I ask is because it showed the DIAG port before I reverted to 5.1 lol. So it could be phone related. But I followed instructions. Used the Rogers image so I didn't lose my VoLTE feature. Everything on that end went off without a hitch.

Not working as you can see...
Last resort is to flash one of the custom rooms and then go through the MSM tool...be my guess. Sometimes recovering from a problem is not an easy solution, but never give up! My apologies, just trying to help!

Wow, I just did a search for converting EU to Global and didn't find anything. Everything I found was the other way around. I am dumb founded that the MSM tools are not working. However, I will say the many times I had to un-install the Qualcomm drivers and re-install, reboot PC and then try edl mode with MSM. Making sure you device is recognized in Device Manager as a port and driver shows 9008 in the discription.

One thing I have done to recover from a crash dump is to download the global zip file, extract it and get the payload.bin file and flash it in fastboot mode then reboot.....
