shure se215, sound nicely with redmi 1s

I really like my Phillips earphones I got from semitone store. They are cheap, with good sound, very durable and reliable. I'd go for them in your case too

piston 2.1

I'm using new xiaomi In-Ear headphone but sadly I can't use it on other ROM. Only MIUI is supported.

I'm using Coloud Pop Earphones. :good:

Phrodi 007 :good:

Sony XBA-C10

using copy earphone worth rs 100/- , and works fine, y waste too much when it is very cheap mobile evermade with cheap quality of material, with cheap update ..all are cheap , using as a garbage collection, :cyclops:

I use mi pistons 2.0 earphones. They are the best for redmi 1s. I tried few HTC, skullcandy, jbl earphones too, which were not up to the mark for redmi 1s. I tried them in many roms, and I liked piston earphones.
So I would recommend mi piston earphones for redmi 1s

Use the piston 3 a level above piston 2

Ep630 and they are beast when paired with 1s.
I have also used shure, soundmagic pl11, panasonic hje125, and a few more.(ps-i broke all of them within 3 months , you cant be rough with In ears lol).
Ep 630 is doing well though 4 months
Bass has impact but highs could have been better.
Dont go any higher than 1000rs. If you are a rough user like me

Highend set of earbud headphones working with S3?

Can someone recommend headphones set with microphone and remote working with Galaxy S3 (please don't mention the stock one ) ?
Literally everything I see on Amazon works with iPhone, iPad, but not S3 verified.
I currently have Bose headphones, but neither microphone is working with S3, nor the volume control and only the Start/Stop (middle button) does its job.
Price range?

Im currently running MH1C's from sony. Together with the Wolfson DAC module and lossless recorded flacs playing with poweramp it is so much better than stock. And it costs only 30€

The controls should work... If your on stock. o.o

I can only think of the Klipsch Image S4A but it doesn't have volume controls or theres the Fischer Audio Eterna's
Try MEElectronics. I have the M9P and they sound awesome, a $25 pair of in-ears sound better than a Sen he is wrong worth $75.

Well ig your not just open to IEMS then check out the Vmoda M100 headphones
They are super portable and sound so bloody good with the S3, especially if your rooted and have the ACID tweaks
Bass is the best I have heard with superb mids and lively smooth highs, you will find lots of reviews on head Fi, a few on Amazon and CNets is quite accurate
If these are out of your price range then maybe try a VMODA M80 its on ear but has significantly less bass so it's up to personal preference
Some good IEMS may be the Philips Cityscape the ones tbat come in brown or purple, i have these and don't use them since I got my GS3 and would be willing to sell them for a decent price!
Good luck

I have them too. They are solid in-ear buds with builtin Mic. You know what. It's $11 again, right now through Google Offers.

NVRMind...just iDevice.
Klipsch S4A great buds. Trust me if you can afford 90 bucks for them get them!
Also has mic, button to change songs, skip, previous and customizable from the Klipsch app.
The A in S4A is Android
Don't get S4I that for iPhone
Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2
I tried the Klipsch S4A but when I compared it to my old Sennheiser MM 50, it's no contest. The Senn requires much less volume level than the Klipch. I tried the larger ear bud, it improved it a little bit, but still nowhere close as the Senn.
I am no audiophile, so I don't know if the Klipsch, while having less volume is better in sound quality than the Senn.
In the end I returned it and bought the next Senn up from the 50, the MM 70i. Very happy with it.
do these work for making calls also? I have a pair of skull candy that dont work at all with calls and I recently switched to CM 10.1 and the samsung stock ones don't work either..

Good earphones for the HTC One?

Hi guys, i've been using the headphones that come with the One since i got them, but they mysteriously stopped working yesterday. I think i may have accidentally damaged the cables, anyways.... I was wondering if anyone had any good headphones they could suggest for under $100. I've heard some really great things about the Klipsch S4A lineup from other forum members and friends, and i was just wondering if any One owners had any experience with them. :good:
Just get them they are awesome
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
I'll vouch for them... I've owned every set of Klipsch headphones and they all are better than any headphones you'll get with a phone. The only ones I'd recommend against are the low-end over-the-ear armature units they made on their first batch back in 2008.
I bought a pair of Yamaha EPH-30WH when they were on sale for $22.
Combined with Beats Audio they sound amazing! The bass is right where it needs to be, everything is so clear and I'm starting to notice instruments and effects and details in songs I just haven't been able to hear with my previous ones. Read the reviews on amazong:
http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-EPH-30WH-In-Ear-Headphones-White/dp/B002UHKN6M
I use the new urbeats .. .the sound is so clear....

I have a 2yo set of Senn IE6s. Quite nice. I paid about $100 when I got them.
I personally use the Beats Tour.
Yes, they're very expensive BUT
sound quality is really good. Compared to the stock HTC headphones that came with the One and UrBeats (I got both with my One), well... The htc and urbeats sound very dull, even though these are pretty darn good headphones too I hear people say. I gave the UrBeats to my sis whose headphones broke and kept on listening with my Tours happily. They have released a tours 2.0 though, so I'm a bit outdated now
(they also released beats studio 2.0)
I've also heard great things about V-Moda
I use some £5 monoprice in ears which are surprisingly good considering their cost.

Munito billets, nuff said. The bass on these blow beats out if the water, they look like bullets and feel more premium than beats and cost 70 bucks

The best head phones I ever bought are the incipio f38's. You can pick them up on amazon for about 30 bucks. You won't find anything under 100 bucks that performs like them.
Beats headsets are not worth the money. You are just paying to give dr dre free advertising with that big ugly logo on the side. Children in korea or China made them at a cost of 20 bucks max they do sound good but not for what you pay for them. Im rocking sonix 3s headset they are the best ear buds I have ever had they match the htc one style perfect too.

Hi thanks man, ive done a bit of research and they look pretty good.
I've been trying out a variety of earbuds lately with my HTC One and between the Sony MH1C, V Moda Remix and Munitio Billets, I'll say I'm very happy with the Sony buds. The clarity of the frequency range(1 Hz-20kHz) is very nice, well-controlled and works for a variety of genres and it's one of the few earbuds/headsets where I've not heard that annoying static/hiss during quieter parts of songs. All three of those earbuds go for around $30-40, but the MH1C I was only able to get for that price at Negri, otherwise they go for $80 direct from Sony.
Beats headphones are garbage. They leak sound like crazy and all they focus on is bass. The clarity is terrible.

I have a set of Sony XBA-1's and I love them. They do a great job of balancing out the Beats over bassing of everything. They are highly reviewed abd very affordable. I got them on clearance at Target for $21

3rd party compatibility
Has anybody experienced issues where 3rd party (cheap) headphones don't work properly?
I have tried about 4 different ones, and with all of them there are problems. One of them skips tracks and adjusts volume when you wiggle the jack plug, others register single click as a go back to previous track.
Only the ones that came with the phone work correctly in all areas, but i have got audio coming out of only one side so need to replace them.
Got some official ones ordered from the site, but they were £30. Is this a common issue with the HTC one? Or could my phone be damaged?
Thank you.
i've tested Sony and Bose from two friends for a week, after i decided that my beats makes me happier

HTC RC E240 Replacemnet Earbuds ?

I have a pair of HTC RC E240 ear trumpets
Can anyone tell me what 3rd party brands of earbuds are compatible are compatible with it.
At the moment I'm using some old Philips buds, and if I pull them out of my ear too quickly, the buds are left behind
I've not used the original buds and they seems too flimsy.
Thank you.

Yes.
Almost all earbuds will be compatible, i lost my original earbuds but i am still using seperate earbuds that came with it on sennheiser cx400 cx200 , philips o'neill and samsung s3,s4 earphones. (Not with all at the same-time ) so reverse is highly possible with a 1-2$ earphone or you can buy them seperately at ebay, amazon etc..

A significant improvement in every aspect over Pistons. Not even the same category.
Thanks! Piston reviews are almost all quick to point out how comparable they are to iems in this price range and they seem so similar on paper.

Nothing I reviewed comes close in sound quality to IM03 Those are my favorite IEMs!!! Though $360, they beat hands down $400 UE900s and $500 W40. Audio Technica is going to be releasing CKR9 and CKR10 soon in US, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed to get a review sample. Those has been released in Japan awhile ago, and people compare those dual dynamic IEMs to IM03 (triple BA driver) in sound quality. Will be a good review and a comparison, plus they are cheaper than IM03, and dynamic drivers usually produce a much better bass
Thanks vectron! I appreciate your reviews.. Cause of it I got the ath_03 and the new cable for it.. I loooove it
Thanks! ! I love it!!

Xiaomi Piston v2

Im sporting the Jabra Rox Wireless...
Lovin the bluetooth stereo... no more crappy wires getting tangled up when Im at the gym or play a round of golf...

Using Cowon EM1.
At Rs.675(~$11) you get amazing overall sound, decent base, good build quality and flat wires that do not tangle. So I'm pretty happy.
Monoprice enhanced bass hi-fi noise isolating earphones, with Comply tips
I highly recommend Xiaomi Piston 2.
I bought a set of silver/white on Amazon. Excellent sound out of the box. Let them burn in for 20-30hrs and they get even better.
Beware of fakes.
Another vote for Xiaomi Pistons. Merimobiles have legit versions
thank you all for replying.... i will try one of them
