[APP] Snap n Go - New application on Samsung Apps!

Downloading! Theres a new app called Snap n Go on Samsung apps released a few hours back! Something to take pictures of your desktop/laptop screen and action on it - like take a picture of the url from the browser on your laptop screen and navigate on your device...etc!
Snap a file on the pc to copy it to your device!!! oooh cant wait to check it out!
Not yet checked it out, but looks interesting

Not showing on my Samsung apps... Im in Canada... Where are you located?

Have it also in Portugal. Very nice App. Just point the camera on the computers desktop and it copies the file from there to the device. Even can upload files directly from the phone to the desktop.
Very easy to transfer a file with this.

does it use bluetooth/wifi?

This sounds awesome. Wonder why no Canada, buggers. Please someone get us the .apk

Downloaded and installed. Looks like the app use wifi to connect between your PC and the phone on the same network.

Available in Australia. Installed. Now it wants me to install it on my pc as well. Transferring to PC. It will use WiFi. But still cool alternative to WiFiExplorer.
Installed. Works great. Cool Intelligent app. Transferred 83mb video from laptop to galaxy in less than 3mins. Transferred a photo from galaxy to laptop in 1 sec.
Samsung does look aftr the Galaxy users.

I got it a day after I went from Eclair to Froyo so I assume 2.2 only. It uses wifi wo should be fast but I can't get it to work.

I don't use IE though.

Doesn't support URLs from Google Chrome. Also, no option to send a pdf file from galaxy to laptop. Can only send image/audio/video from galaxy to laptop. So, there is room for improvement.

Nope.. It works on 2.1 as well I am still on stock JG4 and it still works

Available in Sri lanka and not in India. Now this isn't cool.
But surely it isn't that hard to upload the APK somewhere and throw that link here?

check out chrometophone-android-v1.7.apk or Chrome to Phone 2.1 [can't post url]
you can find it in the android market or google search
there is an addon for Chrome and Firefox, you can send links, files, text to your phone, you need a google account

[Q] HTTPS websites not working

Hi All,
Just a quick one - I'm not able to use the built in browser to open https websites. Normal websites work fine.
Wasn't trying anything in specific, even Microsoft (https) didn't work!
Is this unsupported, or do I need to change an option to make it work?

Are you sure it's not your carrier? You can even Microsoft didn't work, you mean HTTPS doesn't work in WinMo? I'm able to browse HTTPS sites no problem, but my carrier provides an open internet cxn.

Works fine in WinMo, so it's not carrier related. If yours works, its probably something else then, but thanks for the heads up.

Well I prefer Dolphin browser, but I have used HTTPS sites on the stock browser.
Any particular websites you're having issues with?

Unable to View Attachments in XDA Forum from Chrome Browser

I am unable to view attachment images/links in forum posts when viewing in the chrome browser. When i try to access the same page in another browser (Firefox), the attachments appears fine. I am not sure what the problem might be. I have AdBlock DISABLED. Also no other extension/plugin is active in the browser, to be causing the problem. Kindly suggest some remedial action. I am attaching screen shot of the problem below :

That's really weird. All I use is Google Chrome and I've never experienced that issue. In fact, I use Chrome on my Galaxy Tab 2 and don't have that issue either. Sorry, I have no suggestions to fix the issue either. All my plugins are enabled too.

[Q] my scrapbooker shows no ulr from chrome

When I scrapbook something from chrome the ulr doesnt appear. It does when I use normal internet. Does anyone know why this is or how i solve it?

Mainly because this is a Samsung feature the 'Internet' or the browser(modded apk) is integrated from Samsung which offers full support of their funcionality/features and Chrome is from Google which doesn't support Samsung features i may be wrong ofcourse probably if you mod the Chrome apk a bit it could be able to fully integrate with the scrapbook eg. detect the url

Question Fold does not load pictures in browsers

my fold 3 does not load the fotos of most websites.
it does not depend on the browser
i tryed with edge, chrome and samsung browser
f.e. on websites like kyero.com it should load the pictures of houses, but there are only white spaces
what settings can this be?
or do I have to reinstall the phone?

Does it also happen on a different wifi network?

cyberghost was active and so it did not load pictures.
