What are you trying to update?
Nothing. I changed my date and time to get a newer update. But that didn't work so I put the date and Time back. And got this.

Why do you want to fix this if you already have update?
Making notes from Note 4
No its cause u can't check for the next update.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using XDA Free mobile app
You changed the time/date to about two months ahead when you tried to fool the updater. So now you have to wait two months and a day (approx) to be able to try again. You realize the chances of there being an update over the next two months is virtually zero.
Lol

Most likely there will be no update for another 122 days your update clock is set. If there will be ask then or if you need to reset this now just flash available stock firmware by Odin and hope you don't have to move your update clock again that much forward to get lollipop update...

Yeah, the other day when I flashed a rom, I tried to use ad free like I have done for the past couple of years and it told me to update to a newer version. I hit the link to the play store, but it wasn't possible to update. I tried a few more times but got the same results. I un installed ad free and got ad away from the play store. Everything works just fine, no ads. In fact I like ad away better.

I'm having problems too. Says something about hitting fatal error and to update. Uninstalled, then reinstalled from play and still have same issue. Seems like it started yesterday. Have the same problem on my tablet.

Just get rid of ad free and get ad away. The UI us much nicer and it's as good or better. Kinda sucks because I had been using adfree since day one. I guess it's time to move on....

There's a new ad free on the market. Search adfree click on the more from the developer and he has another updated new app.

Am I screwed? It took me a long time to figure out how to get adb to see my Ouya in recovery mode, but finally I am able to adb sideload to it, and no matter what OTA version I try, it wont work. Every single time I try, I get:
Installing update...
assert failed: !less_than_int(1370905958, getprop("ro.build.date.utc"))
Installation aborted.
I have tried every single OTA file available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2266629
All of them result in the same thing. I even tried OUYA_StockPlus_1.0.519r2.zip. No luck there either. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the late response. Was asleep. No, I havent tried the OTA you link. I am just about to try it. And I have the stock recovery.
EDIT: That file you linked worked. Thx a lot, I appreciate it. Sadly, I need to set up everything all over again, but there wasn't a whole lot to begin with.

It updated last night automaticly. So I rerooted it, and I was attempting to push a modified keylayout file that I use for my generic PS3 controller to make the SELECT BUTTON actually be SELECT instead of BACK
EDIT: Bleh, now that everything is back up and running, SixAxis app wont work...
EDIT2: If I cannot get this sixaxis controller app to work, the console might as well have stayed wrecked.
EDIT3: Still nothing. It would seem the latest Ouya update basicly did something to make SixAxis Controller stop working. Well, guess I will just pack up the Ouya and throw it in the closer.
Process was... TWRP... Stock firmware...supersu. paid for WiFi tether and showed connection to router but still is running off of sprint data. WiFi slide won't even stay in on postion. Device won't even show network options. Any takers? Would just flash new cm but there isn't any yet as I assume the developers are still at it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I looked at the specs for the T211 and see that "WiFi Direct Available". I don't know what that means but I suspect that Sprint has the WiFi capability turned off and non-accesable. This would not surprise me. If forces you to use Sprint data (at a cost to you) instead of free WiFi hotspots. I also looked to see if there was a Cellular South firmware (OEM Rom) and did not see one.
I am at a loss as to why you cannot access WiFi. I would call a Sprint store and inquire as to why you cannot access WiFi. See if they have a legitimate answer. If they say it is turned off and CANNOT be turned on, then I would take it back and demand a refund then find another carrier.

but your wifi feature was disabled due to the flashed ROM. some ROMs breaks that capability due to compatibility with the current BL.

Actually you can reload the OEM Rom (Firmware) back onto the device and it will appear brand new. Then they will look at it. Unless, of course, you already let them know what you have done.

No WiFi after flashing any customs. I have CWMCR installed. Now, after I install roms, I have NO WiFi.... So a useless tab. My only means of communicating while I'm at work

Guys,
Do we have a way to restore root to a device to recieve OTA updates? Previously I would use the Root Keeper app, but that hasn't worked since 4.3 was released. I'm specifically looking for a way that doesn't involve reflashing the stock firmware in Odin and basically starting fresh. I'd like to keep my device as is, just restore root to pull OTA updates.

Did you make a backup on out-of-the-box,no-root stock?
Yes, but that essentially would be the same as loading stock firmware, since it was the first thing I did. (No apps installed, no account syncs etc.)
Sent from my SM-N910P using XDA Free mobile app
Alright, so Superuser is able to restore root to the device, but OTA still won't work because the device is still detected as unauthorized modification. Looks like I'll be stuck pushing firmware after all.

It's funny that nobody seems to want to use Kies, but it's a great way to safely update the phone, you don't have to wait for OTA to get pushed to your phone, and it works on rooted phone.

I played with the Flex 2 at CES, I wasn't that impressed. I need a removable battery in my phone, plus that slight curve still makes for an awkward pocket fit.
