I need a debrick image from a Sprint GS3 running android 4.3 knox bootloader as I bricked mine trying to downgrade. Anyone please?
. Tar file was just released. And kies has been updated to show mk3. You need the . Tar file to flash in odin.

The phone does not power on. If I remove the battery while it's plugged in the charge light comes on for about 40 seconds but that's the only sign of life at the moment. That is why I need a 4.3 debrick image so I can try and make it boot from the external SD card.
Can you get inyo download mode? Volume down+power+home. If so see if odin will see the phone. If odin see's it you should be able to flash the stock .Tar file.

Thanks. I tried this method numerous times and it don't work. I need a 4.3 debrick image being that's what is in it currently.
Yeah you need someone to dump it for you. You can extract it from the tar.
But people have stated that they could not get their devices to boot even after using the debrick method, when they bricked by trying to downgrade.

I have ALL_L710VPUCMK3_L710SPRCMK3_2034598_REV03_user_low_ship.tar.md5 which I got from the Kies temp directory when I was upgrading my ROM yesterday. Is the file that you need inside of this? Here is the contents:
./D2_USA_SPR_16G.pit
./NON-HLOS.bin
./aboot.mbn
./boot.img
./cache.img.ext4
./persist.img.ext4

Our problem is identical dave74x. I have been trying to find this image too. But no luck. I'm hoping someone that upgraded like us hasn't been savvy enough to not try flashing anything crazy. All we can do is wait. Good luck dave74x
Edit: If CNexus can find someone that successfully rooted the stock 4.3 OTA and have them make a dump for us/each of us (depending on memory size in your phone).
Anyone?? I can't believe no one has a 4.3 debrick image or is willing to dump one. IMPORTANT... If you updated to 4.3 and you tried to flash back and bricked then you will need a 4.3 debrick image, nothing else will work!! If I can't find one in a day or so I'm just going to send it to my friend in Texas for a JTAG....

The problem is that everyone waited because of KNOX and has CNexus's un-KNOX'ed ROM without the 4.3 bootloader. Then the people that did update to the OTA haven't been able to root or get SuperSU/Super User to work at all. I'm going to try other forum sites and i suggest you do the same dave74x.
This thread can be closed. I just bought a used motherboard for it and all is back to normal now.. Thanks!!

I would love that debrick img as well! Flashed a bad kernel (I was in a hurry) and bricked a friend's phone. got the sd card class 10 and ready to give this a try! I've tried the other debrick.img's, but none have worked (all were earlier in the year, likely not 4.3). Can someone please drop us a line?!

I am not Android expert, but have followed many guides here. Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345860 forum where gTan64 has done this work on other files and he has the code posted to do that in the first post. Make sure you click "Show" button.
gTan64 has attempted to extract first 70 mb or so only. I have read that due to knox, 4.3 does not work. Just for kicks, if you can extract the file might as well try out different sizes and try. If you can extract the image, and it works, please post it here. Many others would be interested in that too.
Hello I tried rooting my device using Kingo Root, well it was rooted successfully. Now, I messed up in deleting some bloatware apps from a list I saw before making a backup . Then when I click the settings>about device, it crashes. Then when I try to factory reset, the apps I uninstalled didn't came back. Please let me know what to do, I just want to make the phone the way I got it then root it.
ps: I googled and some say flash the stock room, I'm scared to flash it because I don't know the firmware version of my phone since I can't access the About device of my phone. I'm in the Philippines btw.
pps: I don't know if it might help but, I installed Kies and the fimware was the latest and it was: PDA:NC2 / PHONE:NA3 / CSC:NC2 (AFR); I don't know how to read that, no google result so far. I'm planning to download firmware from this site: //samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9082
Please help me Thank you!

Put SuperSU in your SDcard
Just Flash this recovery with Odin
Make Sure "Auto-Reboot is not ticked Because Stock Android Restores Stock Recovery
When You get "RESET" in odin
Remove the battery from the and boot to recovery directly
And then flash SuperSU

You can use Partition Backup app. Nandroid backup will backup most of the main partition, but i prefer third party app which will show some unseen partition.
As for the memory thing, i believe @Yousef Mohamed have better knowledge, he even made a flashable zip for expanding the internal memory size.

Gonna try it out thanks. I'm going to do what I learned from here to my future devices Yeah, I hope Yousef does reply.
EFS is most important "recoverable" partition
Bootloader partitions are the most important because without them you can't even boot the phone ( you can't boot to download mode , recovery mode or even the OS )
So you can't recover it

There isn't one that I'm aware of. Last night I was looking. If you're on a custom rom/recovery just install the stock rooted rom and install flashify and install the stock recovery which is floating around here somewhere then unroot. you'll be able to receive the update after.
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish there was one, too. My tablet is bricked into fastboot boot loop and the LgMobile support tool does not work. Only hope is LG Flash tool. But I need the kdz.
Is there a way to convert an image (zip) into kdz?
EDIT: I found (with a lot of help) a way to unbrick it with adb.
Please message me all the details that are needed in order to unbrick my LTE V410!!!
I have two tablets one is mine and one belongs to my son. Both are bricked!

This is the link with all the help and the steps I took to unbrick my tablet. Although the thread was for another model, the help I'm given is for the LG G-Pad 7.0 v410.
http://androidforums.com/threads/twrp-bootloop-fix-after-update-ota.922585/
I basically had to flash TWRP recovery and then the stock ROM (which was rooted). Check #37 of the above link.
If you want to upgrade to lollipop you will have to flash custom recovery and unroot the tablet.
Things you may need:
TWRP recovey found here. Scroll half way down, make sure you use the right image for your model.
Stock ROM found here. Note that stock rom is rooted.
Minimal ADB and Fastboot found here. Or you can use adb.
If you need any more help, please let me know.
HOLY SH*T!!!!

WOW! I followed these simple instructions and fixed the first tablet in under 5 min. My son's tablet wasn't primed and ready like mine was. I had already tried every little trick n trade I could find on the net...which consisted of "NOTHING"!!! really... Kept coming up with the same ole bricks though. Until this VITAL information surfaced!!! All I had to do on my first tablet was open up TWRP Terminal and enter the TWO codes.....rebooted.... Now enjoying!!! You got definite props from me bro! :good::good:
v410 kdz can be found here

Is there a way to recover the note 4 from a hard brick
and I'm not talking about a soft brick like reboots constantly, the phone won't boot up properly, reboots only to recovery/download mode, ect...
I'm talking about the hard brick that leaves your phone completely useless
phone wont boot up AT ALL, charging/changing the battery won't work, and when you connect the phones to the computer, it says "QHUSB_BULK" or “Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008”
It wont recognize the phone AT ALL
Is there a fix to bring the phone to at least download mode or recovery mode?
I'm asking because i have done an endless research on "how to recover from a hard bricked android phones"
sadly, i only found the solution for fastboot devices
Is there a method to recover it?
Maybe. Checkout this post.

I already been through those websites
Those websites are best for fastboot devices
I looked up unbrick images after i saw the galaxy s3 have an unbrick image
So i called my friend who has a hard bricked AT&T s3
So we use that method, and surprisingly it worked
So i went on a rampage and looked up unbrick images for note 4
I couldn't find unbrick images for the N910A variant
Is there a way to make an unbrick image for the AT&T note 4?

Not sure why the steps on droidsavvy.com would work better for a fastboot device vs a Samsung device. As for an unbrick image for AT&T's Note 4 I don't think so as I think it would require root to do.

I honestly don't know, but if I had to take a guess it would be akin to a disk copy (via the dd command or something that works the same) of a (preferably) stock phone, but like I said I'm no expert and was just passing on information I thought might be useful to the op.

Hello guys... I´m searching all over the internet a way to restore our stock retail baseband after tried to install a wrong custom rom.
So, I can flash non-hlos.bin but with no results... I think I have a solution, but I need someone able to dump his modem partition so I can test if the baseband is restored...
If you have a retail stock rom with root can you share your modem/baseband?
Just enable Debug USB on Programmer Menu and type this on your computer (with Minimal ADB)
adb shell
su
(authorize su on device)
dd if=/dev/block/sde13 of=/sdcard/modem_a.img
dd if=/dev/block/sdf13 of=/sdcard/modem_b.img
dd if=/dev/block/sdb12 of=/sdcard/modemst1.img
dd if=/dev/block/sdb13 of=/sdcard/modemst2.img
dd if=/dev/block/sde12 of=/sdcard/fsg_a.img
This will create some .img files on /sdcard (internal)
Just zip and upload somewhere and link here..
If you know how, you can also share your nvbackup.qcn backuped with QPST. PM and I teach you.
Thanks in advance.

dd if=/dev/block/sdb12 of=/sdcard/modemst1.img
dd if=/dev/block/sdb13 of=/sdcard/modemst2.img
dd if=/dev/block/sde12 of=/sdcard/fsg_a.img
This will create some .img files on /sdcard (internal)
Just zip and upload somewhere and link here..
If you know how, you can also share your nvbackup.qcn backuped with QPST. PM and I teach you.
Thanks in advance.

Sent from my Moto Z2 Force using XDA Labs
This might help also, along with the thread posted by I think Uzephi on recovering the imei and baseband

Thanks for the upload, but your baseband isn´t retail.. It is T-MOBILE baseband version M8998TMO_20207.117.02.41.01M NRD. (See the TMO)
I need the retail one, without TMO... but thanks anyway....

That's my bad. Sorry about that. I'm new to the Z2 Force arena. Still learning about everything.

Yes.. This is what I was looking for... I got it elsewhere and it didn't work anyway..
Something is conflicting with this baseband. Everytime I flash it it days "unknownbaseband" and "not found" on bootloader..
I need to discover what it is and try to remove that conflict.
Maybe the PDS/EFS partition was modified somehow..
Thanks anyway

I'm not sure what you mean by retail firmware but the TMobile z2 force is "NASH" and can be flashed with the stock rom as long as the bootloader is unlocked.
