Hi,
I'm running: VisionX, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2559321
It comes with the built-in T-Mobile Hotspot app, and no other tethering option - a few replys in the thread mention a 'Hot Spot' hack that is flashable linked by OP.
I can't find the download link!
Also seeing notes that APN settings need to be changed?
I'm on fast.metropcs.com do I need to do anything else?

can someone help?
thanks in advance,

Sorry if I don't give you many details but, look for in modaco forum, looking for the model B7610 have an "android -subforum" and there is a post called something like TUTORIAL..
there is a way very clear to install android via phone provider connection (not wifi!!!)
ok. hope you'll find it.
bye.
Well, I installed the latest BETA yesterday and it connected me to the internet (using my prepaid data plan) automaticly without any setup.
I have T-mobile. It may not work with other providers.
Installation guide (mine on page 5) as well as the files here:

Hello everyone,
I just installed Xperia HD ROM V2 and everything looks working except 3G conection, so maybe it can be fixed by flashing 3G files from stock .537, so if somone got them would be nice if can send to me.
Thanks and congratz for such a nice community
i had this issue but found the answer on another thread
im on a GB rom though so not sure if its the same
in your settings just press download settings for internet and mms
sorry cant remember what menu it was in, just remember it was in settings
worked for me!
Thanks i already found the problem, i had enabled a proxy on APN settings
I have the T999V ... which is the Canadian model of the T999
We have native android tethering ... no restrictions ... works immediately ... as you can see below
Each time I install a custom (T999 tmobile) rom, this ability gets replaced by the tmobile version, obviously
this essentially breaks/destroys/eliminates tethering for Me ... and other T999V users
Question:
can anyone identify which/all files are involved in tethering so that I/we can specifically back them up and restore them after installing a custom rom..
so that we can get native tethering back ?
Offer:
I am willing to participate with any devs that are interested in perhaps having/seeing the T999V native tethering files
so that possibly they can use these in their roms to bypass the restrictive carrier modifications right from the beginning
thanks in advance for any answers and/or particpation

I have gone over the problems people have had with " WiFi Tether " on this device and have deduced it down to the WAP ( wifi access points ) settings. I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the settings though. When connected to the computer via wifi, FoxFi will give and error on connection of " limited access ". FoxFi will work on all my phones but this model ( even the new LG Nexus 5 ). If anyone can give me some directions on changing the WAP settings to allow WAP2 on this device please post as soon as possible....Thank you.....
* DEVELOPERS, PLEASE PUT A FIX FOR THIS IN YOUR ROMS THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
I ALWAYS WANTED TO USE MY NEIGHBOR wifi network. the have speed networks 50 Mbps.....that was fine with me, SO I DID A RESEARCH HOW I CAN HACK SOMEONE PROTECTED NETWORK, WITHOUT ASKING FOR PASSWORD.
I SAW THIS FORUM( Mod Edit: Link Removed )someone posted on forum, WIFI HACK TOOL i downloaded the app. and it works........
