I couldn't find any confirmation on whether the HTC One can run on the AWS spectrum. Verizon's site just says 4G LTE - 700MHz, so I'm guessing that it does not?

Nope! T-Mobile HTC version supports the HSPA+ AWS service though. What is odd is the GPE doesn't support HSPA+ AWS

Nope. They simply don't want you to know it. As far as I know Verizon will active it on htc one with software update. Correct me if i'm wrong.
I'm running a straight talk SIM in my Verizon htc one. Only get edge data although Verizon says it has umts and the 1900 bands. Not sure if anything has to be done to get anything better. Pop that SIM inside my droid DNA and I get hspa speeds.

I have a Verizon HTC One that has been flashed to cricket. I can call, text, and i get 3G data. i was wondering if i could get 4G on Crickets new gsm network. would the radios be compatible? i would love to be able to get 4g on this phone on cricket? is there a way to unlock the 1900 band for LTE with S-OFF?
i dont know if i can get MMS yet but ill try and update.
The lte radio on the Verizon m7 is locked to the 700mhz spectrum band 13. I'm pretty sure there isn't any way to get lte on another network with this device.
@disconnecktie is correct. Only mvno that you would get 4G is one that uses Verizon towers. I don't think cricket sources to Verizon.

I'm considering switching from ATT, but my understanding is that wifi calling is only available with TMO branded phones. Mine is the factory unlocked model (BS_US001/0P6B12000). I'm SuperCID, so was wondering if I could emulate a TMO phone by flashing their RUU. Would I have to change my MID (if that is even possible)?

I have a vas m8 running on tmo and in the viperone threads in the general HTC one m8 section, j to the an, said if I tried something like that it would go for a hard brick easy. But my be cuz my phone is a cdma variant? Who knows. I just ask.

There are a few custom ROMs that allow TMO WiFi calling. I know, and have tested, both Viper and Sky Dragon. While they are obviously not stock, they both work on my BS_US002.
Just flash T-MO RUU after SuperCid'ing. I have the same terminal and got around that issue following those steps!. Remember to do your backups.

I was assuming you has a gsm varient when I said change the mid then flash their ruu. At&t and t-mobile are gsm, Verizon and Sprint varients are cdma . Never mix gsm and cdma anything,if your varient is cdma don't bother looking at gsm formums at all

Taking about me. Cuz I'm vzw and AT&T is gsm. I forgot bout that, duh... But I am able to run gsm type Rom with little to no problem....I'm just looking to see how I can enable all gsm lte bands for use. I try to drive and between towers I lose signal and can't reconnect, so I either have to toggle airplane to get it back, or just use hspa. It runs ok... But I'd like to get full potential.

Sounds like some sort of Kernel incompatibility, have you tried reinstalling everything from scratch?

A Cdma varient never can be full potential of the gsm varient. i use to have the sprint varient and i unlocked it to tmobile, yes it worked, but it wouldnt stay connected to tmobile, i would constantly have to manually search for tmobile network, so if i never looked at my phone it would just disconnect by itself, i received calls fine but text messages would come once i connected to tmobile again.
plus the hardware is just not capable of all the gsm bands, so to get full potential, sell it and get a gsm one
Does the LTE band on a Verizon HTC ONE work on t-mobile?

And that is just the first 3 results. There is more threads about this. No. The Verizon HTC phones minus the m8 with some extensive s-off editing cannot work on LTE or even hspa/hspa+. This includes but not limited to: M7, DNA(DNA might have certain US HSPA working), and Rezound.

Rezound works on at&t hspa It's just extremely weak... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914122

Yes, the OP is asking about T-Mobile not AT&T. To get 800/1700 HSPA for AT&T, it does involve editing the NV partition. The M7 NV partition for vzw has all bands enabled. I checked. It is limited by hardware.
What's up guys so let me start out by stating I am no noob when it comes to ROM related funness however I am new to HTC stuff. I bought a at&t HTC one m8 and unlocked the phone then unlocked the bootloader and S off then realized I could only get edge data so I did some reaserch and really can't find anything in how to fix this minus I read how to change the cid to cid 11111111 but still I have no LTE 4g hspa or even 3g any help will be greatly appreciate thanks in advanced.

This may sound silly, but do you have the right APN? If you have, then may be reflash of the firmware can help.

That doesn't sound silly at all.
AT&T version supports the bands used by T-Mobile for LTE (4 and 17). Also supports all the bands used by T-Mobile for 3G, with the exception of the AWS band, which from what I'm hearing T-Mob has mostly migrated from AWS on 3G (so they can use the AWS band for LTE).
The band support is there, so either the SIM card is bad (does it work for 3G and LTE on another device) or wrong APN.
