I'm searching for some Desire Eye RUUs, in particular the TW or HK CHT ones.

I've been looking on their site and you can't email them to ask. All the WM6 ROMS floating around look good but I'd be more comfortable if I could get one directly from HTC for my my country. I'm new to Flashing and CID unlocking and all that but I wouldn't mind if I could get it from HTC's web site. Any info on a release or is there one out that I've missed?
Sorry if I've asked a question that's already been answered but I've been searching this forum for a month now and I'm a little confused about all the different versions of ROMS.
BTW, I'm about to buy an HTC P3300 in the US to use on T-Mobile USA and, of course, it has WM5. All I want to do is upgrade to WM6 and run TomTom from the memory card instead of main memory and I don't want to loose any of the original programs. (I've already read about how to move TomTom)
Are the serials of HTC S620 like HTC620xxxxxxx?
If not, can anyone give which one with the mask to let the Dash users download the HTC original firmware?.

I can always find the last rom here in the forum. But the english one. I would like to download the last one in my language (Spanish). And maybe other users from other countries want the same.

I suggest having a none HTC phone in the main forum page.
As you all know we have a link for each phone of HTC in the main page (except O2 atom) so to make things more arranges to make this forum for none HTC phone.
And inside of this none HTC phone forum there will be a sup link for each manufacture,
For ex. One link for all O2 phone and not for each mobile (of course the atom file will transfer to this form) and one link for all Eten phone and one for FSC… etc
So what do guys think?
There is some good upgrading in the (Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking) forum and it will be bad just because of too much upgrade subject to see some go to older pages

Hi, this is my first phone with windows mobile and I'm looking at flashing the firmware, I have a couple of questions tho and I apologise if they are n00bish.
Which is the newest Rom out of the following
WWE_1.93.405.1 (I believe this to be the UK one??? clarification please)
WWE-ME_1.93.456.2 (what does the ME stand for?)
HK_WWE_1.93.831.1 (this is the hongkong english)
The phone is a UK phone.

The third set of numbers is a region code, unrelated to "features" of the ROM, so the ROM versions in your list are actually 1.93.xxx.1 and 1.93.xxx.2
The WWE stands for "World Wide English", however I have also been curious about what the "ME" stands for. 1.93.xxx.2 is the latest ROM version I've seen so far, so hopefully someone can clarify the ME, as I've been hesitant to flash it until finding out.

Is there any difference if the same ROM is from HK or UK or India?
If there is no difference, then why does HTC regionally lock them? *scratch head*
And are the radios performance highly dependent on your local telco?

M8 Eye ROMs are hard to come by. I'm not even sure if there are any available here. You might be able to find one on XDA India or XDA China.
I would recommend getting the regular M8 if you plan on rooting and flashing.
